    We had a lovely time beds could of been a bit better felt they were a bit worn and the furniture could of done with footstools as they were quite low and it was hard to get comfortable on them, Every thing else was very nice.

Primitive Croft Cottages

A group of three terraced cottages situated in the peaceful village of Chelmorton, in the heart of the Peak District National Park. These lovely terraced cottages have the charm of a traditional cottage and the contemporary feel of a modern property. Beautifully furnished throughout they have a traditional stone exterior and stone flooring with the luxury of underfloor heating. Each cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area with 55” TV where you can curl up in front of the woodburner and watch your favourite film. Upstairs the cottages offer comfortable bedrooms with all of them being en-suite. Each cottage has its own private outdoor area and guests also have shared use of the owner's 3 acre paddock just 50 yards away, perfect for walking dogs or family games. Located in the Peak District National Park, there is plenty to do whether it is country pursuits, visiting stately homes or browsing the shops in nearby Buxton or Bakewell. These cottages offer an ideal base for a relaxing break at any time of the year.

The property

One of three this cosy terraced cottage is situated in the centre of the peaceful village of Chelmorton, in the heart of the Peak National Park.

From the traditional stone exterior and the stone flooring, to the underfloor heating, 55” TV, and mood lighting, it is a wonderful blend of new and old.

There are two en-suite double bedrooms one of which has a Jacuzzi bath, together with a ground floor cloakroom.

On chilly nights you can snuggle up on the leather sofas in front of the woodburner and on sunny mornings have breakfast on the terrace whilst planning the day's activities.

Guests also have use of the owner's 3 acre paddock just 50 yards away, perfect for walking dogs or family games.

An ideal base for a relaxing break at any time of the year.

The ancient, picturesque and peaceful village of Chelmorton is situated in the heart of the Peak National Park. The village boasts a lovely pub which serves excellent food. Chelmorton has a fascinating historic landscape of 'fossil' arable strips enclosed within drystone walls and the village has a lovely medieval church of St John the Baptist. Surrounded by superb walking country and within easy reach of the popular centres of Buxton and Bakewell.
