  • "Extremely comfortable and well equipped barn conversion on a busy working dairy farm."

Very well equipped cottage, everything you could possibly need is there. Very warm and comfortable, would highly recommend. Well situated for Buxton, Bakewell, Monsal Trail, Tissington Trail and others.

  • "Great property clean, comfortable, spacious and equipped to a high standard."

A very convenient location for Buxton and for cycling from nearby Parsley Hay. If Corner Croft is not available then the adjacent Bank Top is the two bed version of Corner Croft. Although WiFi is available it is a bit hit and miss, OK for collecting messages and emails and for some light browsing but don't expect to be able to stream Netflix. We will be staying again.

  • "This cottage was so homely."

It was clean and welcoming. The kitchen had everything you could need. The freezer was two thirds fridge and one third freezer which worked well for us.The lounge was so relaxing with two lovely sofas and an armchair. There is a stair gate at the bottom and top of the staircase which was great as we had two children in our party. The furniture in this property was of a good quality. Every bedroom had a tv and a good arial system was in place. The WiFi catered for our needs. There was a plentiful supply of hot water and under floor heating on the ground floor and radiators upstairs. We were never cold. I would definitely recommend this property.

It was immaculately clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, the beds were the most comfortable we’ve slept in in a holiday rental, dozens of towels, high quality and comfortable furniture and the family who owned the farm couldn’t have been nicer. Highly recommend.

The cottage was spotless when we arrived and very well equipped. Our young granddaughter loved playing in the play area. Had some lovely days out at Bakewell, Buxton, Thornbridge Hall, Matlock Bath & Matlock petting zoo, all within easy reach. Would highly recommend for a relaxing family holiday.

  • "We had a warm welcome at Corner Croft, Paula and Jade were very welcoming and the cottage was spotless and very comfortable."

Our only comments would be that we felt the wash basin in the en suite was too small, a shelf in each of the bathrooms for toiletries and a hook on the back of the bathroom doors would be useful. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. We thoroughly enjoyed being shown around by Will, seeing the calves and learning all about the farm.

Clean and comfortable. The farmer even took us up to see the cows and calves, very interesting. Very welcoming. Loved the little dog who visited every day. So close to brilliant walks and the lovely Bakewell. Would stay again.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Corner Croft (4 adults + 13mth old)."

Downstairs there is a large living room with a door to the front patio, and a kitchen/dining area with large dining table and hallway access to the front patio. The kitchen has more than everything you need (even if you want to go as far as doing some baking!). With a slimline dishwasher make sure you take plenty of dishwasher tablets. We loved sitting on the front patio to eat our evening meal and we enjoyed drinks there in the late evening sun. Upstairs on the right hand side of the property is the bathroom and one double bedroom, then on the other side of the hallway, above the living room, is two doubles (1 en suite) that share an adjoining hallway which was perfect for us with a little one as we could effectively join the two rooms by leaving the doors open but the door to the main hallway closed. Equally, you could close both doors to keep the rooms separate. There are more pictures of the property on Facebook. There is also a little Salon on the farm called "The Little Magpie" which we didn't use, but I imagine you can get your nails or something done there if you wish. As the property is on a working dairy farm, our little one enjoyed watching the cows. There was also a swing and slide/climbing frame to use near the front patio. For days out we visited: -Peak wildlife park -a walk from longnor village which has a little shop, cafe and pubs -buxton -Bakewell -matlock bath and cromford mill -carsington water -tagg lane dairy for ice cream, cake, hot drinks All we're worth a visit. The Duke of York pub does takeaways and they were top notch with very generous portions. It was a very enjoyable week and much better than we imagined (made even more so by the Great British weather being Great for once!)

The location was perfect for exploring the peaks, good shops within a short drive, pubs and restaurants too. Comfy beds, plenty of light, showers were hot and powerful, everything about this cottage was brilliant!! Cant wait to go again! We know its called Corner Croft, but it should be called Carlsberg, cos its probably the best in the Peaks! A huge thank you to the Bradbury family for sharing their amazing space with us, you have a truly fabulous piece of England, and excellent taste when it comes to providing holiday accommodation.

As such, be ready for a bit of early morning noise. Internally though, all the things we needed were there - it was warm, clean and spacious for Mum, Dad, Kids (10+7) and Grandparents. Quite isolated location wise - you wouldn't really be able to walk to the pub given the road - but if you are prepared to get in the car for 5 minutes, then a handful and more of really nice pubs for eating out.
