The property

Toad Cottage is a quaint reverse-level brick cottage found in the serene village of Two Dales, nestled between several charming country cottages.

Rustle up a tasty meal in the kitchen/diner, equipped with all the essential amenities needed for a self-catered stay, alongside the lovely dining area to enjoy your delicious meals on.

Feel refreshed in the ground-floor shower room, adorned with sleek white tiles and a welcoming heated towel rail to keep you cosy after a shower.

The twin bedroom is found on the ground floor, great for children to rest their heads after a busy day, decorated with attractive blue tones.

Make your way upstairs to settle down in the spacious sitting room, a stunning bright room featuring deluxe chocolate leather seating, wicker decor and a TV to keep you entertained on a snug evening inside, whilst the open fire keeps you warm.

The master double bedroom rests just behind the living space, with specks of aqua tones dotted around, a handy walk-in wardrobe, and a lavish en-suite bathroom with heated towel rail, where you can soak in a soothing bubble bath.

Enjoy a cup of tea in the glorious sunshine on the enclosed front yard section, there's also an outdoor stone staircase leading up to a second entrance to the first-floor sitting room.

Stroll down the charming village lanes, finding several traditional pubs and convenience stores where you can pick up all your necessities and treats during your stay, with the neighbouring village of Darley Dale also boasting a restaurant, supermarket, Post Office, butchers, and garden centre.

Explore the beautiful market town of Matlock, take an afternoon stroll along the stunning River Derwent, visit the Heights of Abraham where you can travel on a cable car, find fossils, or go on a cavern tour.

Find adventure at Gulliver's Kingdom, a fantastic day out where children can seek thrills on theme park rides and rollercoasters.

You can also take a trip over to the scenic town of Bakewell, home to attractions including the Monsal Trail, Haddon Hall, Chatsworth House, and Thornbridge Hall Gardens.

This delightful Derbyshire village sits peacefully in between the Hill and Sydnope Dales - hence its name. Two Dales, neighbouring the town of Darley Dale, is a small yet well-stocked village which provides The Plough Inn pub serving food, a supermarket, a Post Office, garden centre and a butchers to name a few of its quaint amenities. From here you can walk into the awe-inspiring Peak District National Park, you will discover incredibly beautiful countryside, rivers and lakes as well as charming towns and villages and the stately homes of Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House. The market town of Bakewell is easily accessible and boasts a fine selection of shops and eateries, closer by is the attractive spa town of Matlock, both of these make for delightful days out.
