  • "Outstanding!"

Whilst the photos and listings were accurate they don't do justice to what an amazing property this is. Beautiful and stylish in it's decor, extremely comfortable and so thoughtfully well resourced. Theyd thought of EVERYTHING! Had the standards of a boutique hotel whilst feeling homely. Am recommending to everyone!

Every detail thought of and everything finished to a high standard. Could not have asked for more. My only problem was I didn't want to leave. We will be back and I'm recommending the house to everyone I know.

  • "Booked with 3 friends for a chilled weekend getaway (minus husbands and kids) and we had the most amazing time."

The house is immaculate, spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The hot tub is total bliss and the extras such as the private games room and heated champagne hut are the icing on the cake. The property is great for a friends break like ours or family as the kids will be entertained in the hidden games console cubby and games room. Might never see them! This is the 3rd time I have been to the owners properties, and without a shadow of doubt, be back. Thanks again for a brilliant break

Cottage is well furnished and modernly decorated - it has a great games room and the hot tub was spot on. Jo the owner was in communication and nothing is too much of an effort for her to make our experience (and after service) a joy. Very much recommended.

The thought and detail that Jo and Giles have put into the design and construction is inspiring. The attention to detail and wonderful bright decoration is brilliant. The facilities are the best we have ever experienced - the hot tub and sauna are great. The Games room with pool table, table tennis, arcade machine, dart board and karaoke provides something for everyone. Jo and Giles were great - very friendly and approachable, on hand if you needed them, but not intrusive. There is plenty to do within a 30 minute drive of HollyDale including Alton Towers which is literally 20 minutes away Overall, a fantastic holiday had by everyone of us! Thank you Jo and Giles...until next time :-)

The property is immaculate inside and out. Facilities are excellent. The owners Jo and Giles and their lovely family are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They are kind enough to also care for our dog at their farm so we can enjoy some days out without worry. We cannot fault our holiday and would recommend Hollydale and Pastures or Parlour barn to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing break in top class accommodation.

The hot tub was fantastic with beautiful views. We really enjoyed having an afternoon BBQ in the outdoor heated seating pod. The games room was brilliant and the kids loved the indoor gnome den with the computer games. We went to Alton Towers twice which was so much fun and it was only 15 minutes away. • "Where do we start?"

The whole place is amazing! What a week we have had. The house is immaculate and the decor is stunning and of very high quality. (especially the very comfy beds) The house has everything you need and alot more! The games room was a hit for all the family. We loved a few games of pool/table tennis/darts and a sing on the karaoke. The heaters are a great touch too, they meant we could enjoy it even in the cold naff UK October weather. On a evening it was lovely chilling in the hot tub taking in the views, while some of the party sat in the heated seating area for a game of cards. Jo and the family were so friendly and recommended a few places for us to go which were beautiful. Although we could have easily stayed in for the full week enjoying everything and lazing infront of the log burner. Everything was of impeccable standard and we can’t wait to return next year. And probably every year after that for the foreseeable! Thank you so much for a lovely time when the world is at such a crazy period.

  • "We had a really lovely holiday at Holly Dale House, the house and surrounding area are both beautiful."

The house has everything that you need and much more! There is so much attention to detail and little touches which make the house very special. We took our dogs and two teenage sons with us and it was perfect for everyone. We all enjoyed the Games Shack so much, we have stayed in properties with games rooms before, but this was the best we've seen by far. The outdoor dining hut was brilliant and so cosy with the heater on and the hot tub was fantastic, as are the views from everywhere around the house and garden. The boys particularly enjoyed the 'Gnome Room' with the PS4, very quirky and a brilliant idea. The house is very well designed for taking dogs and again lots of nice little touches to help keep your pets safe and comfortable. Our weather was mixed whilst we were there, but whether rain or shine, the house was perfect. I would thoroughly recommend this house to anyone and would suit almost any family or group of friends. We will certainly look to return with friends and family and would also look at renting the barns next door too. The barns and house together would be perfect for a special celebration for a large group.
