2 The Villa

We could not fault 2 the villa it was as described and more,every thing was perfect and all four of us enjoyed our stay.

We visited the Queens public house twice and both times the service and the meals were amazing. Ludlow is a very nice place to visit would highly recommend, only downside was we were only on a short weekend break and would have preferred to have had longer to explore. The Villa was a lovely place to stay my daughter and I enjoyed our time there.

Ludlow was an easy walk away loved the market on Saturday. I would recommend someone to stay at the Villa and enjoyed Ludlow and surrounding area.

The property was clean and comfortable, the owners had thought of everything to help make our stay enjoyable.

We walked into town on our first day which was a pleasant 15minutes. The weather was perfect and we visited local gardens with lovely cafes.I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit Ludlow and the surrounding areas.

The villa was modern ,very clean and supplied everything we needed for the week.

Very good shower. Glad of the blinds for privacy. We stayed during the very hot spell and returned to find the owner had brought around an umbrella which was very kind and thoughtful.

This was our second visit The property is perfectly placed, just a short walk into the centre of Ludlow.

The parking places are a real bonus. The Villa is very well appointed, it had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in 2 The Villa, it’s clean & modern & very comfortable.

The property is in a great location, in a quiet spot off the main road & not far to walk into Ludlow. There’s an Sainsbury’s nearby & a small local general store, there’s plenty of nearby pubs & a great fish & chip shop! it’s also a great base for exploring the area. We would definitely return & will recommend it to family & friends.

Generally delighted with 2 The Villa although grateful we have a relatively small car as although the parking was adequate for us it would have proved much harder if we’d had a larger car.

The rental would benefit from a couple of new medium saucepans without metal handles! Apart from these two comments we were very happy there, delighted how easily it was to access the town and the super standard of furnishings and cleanliness.

What a great find in Ludlow, the accomodation was perfect, everything you would need for a week's holiday.

Was only about a 10-15 minute stroll into the town centre and a corner shop a minute away to get essentials. Would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodation for two couples and we were able to walk into town to the restaurants/pubs.

We had a lovely, relaxing Christmas at 2 The Villa.

This was our second visit. The facilities here are first class and we would highly recommend this place to anyone. The Christmas decorations were lovely and the Christmas card from the owners with prosecco and chocolates were very much appreciated and enjoyed! 2 The Villa is very clean, comfortable accommodation.

We had a very relaxing break here and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Ludlow and the surrounding areas.

our three night stay was excellent in this modern and well equipped villa.

it was spotlessly clean, had good heating and plenty of hot water on demand, topped by powerful water pressure in the shower. close to the town centre and Tesco just around the corner. highly recommended

Wonderful stay in a wonderful property

Nice villa could have done weith a coffee table & perhaps a footstool forvelderly people.

A chair in the bathroom as well. Beds were really great.

My wife and I took a friend for a four night break.

Arriving in a heatwave, it was very pleasant and cool as we entered the property. Our stay was very good with plenty of room and the facilities were excellent. Thank you Katherine and James.

Apart from the issue with the front door which my wife couldn't get the hang of the property was excellent

The only downside was the winter duvets.

Katherine & James have provided everything you would need. It was clean & the sofa & beds very comfortable. Being behind other houses on the street it was so quiet, so great nights sleep. Many places we have booked in past we wouldn’t return due to uncomfortable beds. Having 2 parking spaces was a big advantage as we we staying with a friend who was also travelling up from Oxford in her car . Thank you for your wonderful villa , we would definitely return

What an amazing little find!

Perfect for a couple of night's stay to explore the area. Easy walk into Ludlow too. Highly recommend The George Hotel for dinner and The Cornerhouse Cafe for breakfast. The property was perfectly presented, spotlessly clean and the welcome card was a lovely touch. Katherine was excellent at keeping in contact and she quite happily replaced feather pillows and cushions due to one of us having a feather allergy. Highly recommended

Excellent stay, very comfortable home, immaculate throughout and slept so well even though we stayed during Storm Darragh.

We loved 2 The Villas.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and superbly equipped. Good nights’ sleep were guaranteed by the comfortable beds and bedding and the quiet location. We came in a cold snap and we were delighted with how warm the apartment stayed even with the heating off. Having only one car the parking was very easy too. The location was really handy for the town centre which is an easy few minutes walk away. A very handy “One Stop” convenience store was useful too. Our hosts were really welcoming and although we didn’t need to trouble them during our stay, they made it clear we were welcome to contact them if we needed to. Already now thinking about when we can come back!

2 The Villa is a very comfortable place to stay and such a quiet place.

However the written description for the location allowed us to find the property relatively easily. Apart from that the stay was excellent.

We loved 2 The Villas, it was really perfect.

Neat, clean with all the cutlery, crockery and utensils you could want. The beds were very comfortable and the linen beautiful. The house was perfect for my elderly parents as it was all on the flat and and access was easy. The Villa was well situated for Ludlow and it was easy to explore the fantastic sights and countryside. We took taxis into town and also the local bus which was a very short walk away. Sainsbury's was nearby. The Villa had everything we wanted including some outside space and we ate out at the patio table quite a few times. We would really recommend Number 2 The Villas

A lovely little property.

Very clean and attractive, and very comfortable. Provided with everything you could need. Very welcome milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. As described, the parking is tight but better for one car than two.

Clean, tidy, warm and well equipped.

Perfect for us as a couple. The Villa would lack privacy if it weren’t for the blinds on the windows. Great base for exploring Ludlow and surrounding area. The parking was quite tight, not one for people with a large car. We had a lovely weekend. Thank you

Lovely accommodation, very clean, looks and feels very new.

Kitchen was very good, had everything we needed to cook a dinner. The twin bed was very comfy, the double not so as one side dipped, however didn’t spoil the stay. Great location for town and lovely walks.

Lovely little place that has everything you need in it.

It was also very clean and comfortable, main bed is slightly hard and the second bed has a bit of a roll, also be careful in the shower it is quiet slippery. great to have a parking space and it was only a 10 minute walk into town.

Tucked away with houses around but it was so so quiet. Really comfortable and a good location to walk into Ludlow town centre about 10 minutes Great takeaway 2 minutes walk. And a brilliant area to explore would I book this cottage again DEFINITELY.

Beautiful property, will definitely return

this property was well suited to us as it was all on one level, central to most places Ludlow , just a short drive ,access to shops and supermarket just a short drive away, owners information and instruction on point,!

!very quick response to any question ,and although in a cul-de-sac the car park area was so busy with a variety of birds ,quiet for sleeping

Overall this is an excellent 2 bedroom property.

It’s all very new, modern and you have everything you need for a really comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, so you can cook what ever you want. It’s a great location, very quiet and a gentle stroll into Ludlow centre. All the modem cons dishwasher washing machine freezer etc. central heating is very easy to use. Just one small point, the parking is tight, especially if you have other cars next to you. However this would not stop us going back, we will book this property again.

Just returned from a week in this lovely bungalow in Ludlow.

Ideally located on the outskirts of the town and easily accessed from the A49. Easy walking distance to town and Railway Station. Very well equipped and well maintained. Handy small supermarket, takeaway and cafe within a couple of minutes walk. All in all an ideal holiday base

2 The Villa was perfect for our little holiday.

Easy to find and the two parking spaces, together with their location at the property, was ideal. The key safe was also easy to find and operate. Upon opening the front door, it was immediately apparent that this was a beautifully appointed property, everything looked brand new. The kitchen was large, with all appliances expected. The bathroom was spacious and of a high quality finish. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Above all, the property was spotlessly clean. There was a gravel and deck area outside with a table and chairs, ideal for a sunny afternoon. There is an information file with lots of helpful advice and user manuals for the appliances. A well stocked One Stop shop is a few minutes walk away and the neighbourhood cats are friendly. Ludlow is only a couple of miles away and is simply stunning. The owners should be rightfully proud of what they have on offer and we will be visiting again next year. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.

The bungalow itself is immaculately clean and finished to a high modern standard. Everything you could need for your break was provided. Only approx 10 minute walk into Ludlow town centre which is handy especially if you have visited The Ludlow Brewery for a tasting session

Lovely cottage near to Ludlow but still very peaceful, very clean and comfortable especially the beds and sofas, very well equipped, we had a great time as we could leave the car and walk into town.

It was lovely to return there after a day out exploring the area. It was convenient for the town of Ludlow and all it offers. I would recommend the bungalow to anyone wanting a break in this lovely town.

Home from home property, sparkling clean, very comfortable and convenient location.

Nice that the outside lights and heating were on when we arrived. Great communication from owners, advising when property was ready and checking everything was ok. It was beneficial to receive a copy of the property information prior as saved reading immediately on arrival. This property is a winner in every way even has sharp knives and good frying pan/pans which seem to be a rare thing in holiday properties!

No 2 The Villa was a comfortable place to stay, conveniently situated within walking distance of Ludlow.

Everything we needed was provided in the villa and it was nice to return to its welcoming atmosphere after a day out. Easy parking was also a great advantage.

We had a lovely short stay at the Villa!

It included everything you could possibly need. The Villa was really comfortable and clean; it felt like a home from home. It was in an ideal location as we were able to walk into Ludlow, and had a lovely time exploring the local shops and pubs as well as Ludlow Castle. We also visited Leominster and Hay on Wye which were both short car journeys away. Katherine and James were really helpful and thought of everything we could possibly need to have a comfortable holiday. We would definitely recommend the Villa and would love to return in the future.

2 The Villa was a lovely cottage for a week's holiday.

It was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. It was only about 15 minutes walk into the centre of Ludlow so we didn't use the car. There are lots of good walks nearby and we also used local buses to do different walks. The cottage has a small garden with table and chairs which we used a lot since we had very good weather all week. Everything about the cottage was immaculate and well thought out. We hope to visit again sometime.

We had a very enjoyable week in this splendid Bungalow.

It is tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The bonus for us was being able to leave the car and walk into Ludlow. However, although there are two parking spaces available, the approach is a little tight to manoeuvre if your car is longer than average. ( This is mentioned in the details ). So perhaps best for one car only. Many thanks to the owners, and we hope to book again.

As we said in the guest book, this property was ideal for the two of us.

It is well-equipped, decorated and furnished in a very tasteful way, quietly situated and convenient for a very good Chinese takeaway and a One Stop shop and post office. A fifteen minute walk to the centre of Ludlow which is a beautiful place. We recommend this property to others.

This property was amazing.

There was everything we needed for our stay and the standard of furnishing cleanliness and overall appearance was brilliant !! The location was good. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t appear to be working. We would definitely book this property again and we highly recommend it!!

We stayed at 2 The Villa for a short break.

The premises, a two bedroomed Semi-detached bungalow, is a very well furnished and equipped holiday let in a good location on the edge of Ludlow. The bungalow exceeded our expectations being extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. Katherine, the host, was very helpful and ensured that our holiday was a pleasant one. We can thoroughly recommend 2 The Villa as a base to explore Ludlow and the surrounding areas. We will return. The Castle Restaurant/Cafe is well worth a visit as the food is freshly cooked and very tasty. We used E C Price Taxis to take us to the Charlton Arms one evening. The taxi was on time in both directions and the driver was friendly and professional. The food at the Charlton Arms was also very nice. All round a great mini break.
