  • “Lovely cottage in rural surrounding great for visiting lots of different places very welcoming owners”

    - Mr Horsley, February 2020

The property

Wortley 1 mile.

This lovely semi-detached cottage sits in a rural setting on a working farm, on the outskirts of the village of Wortley.

Refurbished to a high-standard, this quaint hideaway adjoins the owner’s home and offers a welcoming accommodation for families and friends looking to explore the Peak District National Park.

Enter into the well-equipped kitchen where the chef amongst the group can prepare appetising feasts, before gathering round the dining table to enjoy these meals over a well-deserved glass of wine.

Enter into the snug sitting room and curl up in front on the electric fire with your loved ones.

Head upstairs to find the three delightful bedrooms, including a super-king-size, twin and single room, serviced by a sparkling family bathroom with bath and shower over, so you can best decide how to prepare for the day.

To the outside are large lawned areas where you can capture views of the open countryside and even the Peak District on a clear day.

Wortley is a pretty village where there are a range of activities to sample from; whether you fancy a round of golf on the local course or to simply potter around the traditional village shops.

The bustling city of Sheffield can be reached in half an hours drive and offers an extensive shopping scene, or head slightly further afield to the Peak District National Park and explore the many chocolate-box villages and breathtaking scenery on offer.

Stone Farm Cottage promises a relaxing getaway, any time of year.
