"Loved the snug!"
Well equipped, enjoyed the garden. Hope the dogs barking didn’t upset the neighbours too much. We didn’t go out in the car, just walked and walked. Good beer and food at the Rising Sun. Cannot fault our time away. Thank you for the snacks and dog treats. We all had fun!

"From the moment we found the place (brilliant guidance from Jo), it became our hidden home away from the world."
Jo very thoughtfully left a small gift, cupcakes and birthday decorations for us so when we walked in, we instantly felt at home, and in the mood to celebrate! The cottage itself is beautiful with an air of magic. Lots of beautiful decoration that makes it feel homely. We especially loved the barn door (where the top half of the door opens, but the bottom half is closed). The dates we were there had some rainy moments but the barn door allowed us to enjoy the rainy smells and sounds, take in the beuaiful view and be as close to nature as possible, all whilst sitting on cosy chairs with a blanket to keep us warm. Truly magical moments that we're looking forward to experiencing again.

"Beautiful cottage and the owner was very helpful messaging information how to find the property before we arrived."
Cottage had everything in that we needed and really appreciated having some wood left to use the fire. House was spotless and couldn’t of asked for any more. Came with 10 month old cockapoo who had a lovely time! Thank you again!

"Couldn’t have asked for anything better for a short countryside stay."
Cottage was well equipped and included some lovely touches from the owners such as a bottle of wine and box of chocolates as well as a doggy welcome pack which Bruno loved. Lots of information about the local area and ideas for days out for which the cottage was a great base to explore the area and walking trails. Garden space was well enclosed so had no worries about the dog escaping! A couple of lovely, dog-friendly pubs within a short walk. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

"The property was very cosy and just right for a couple with a dog."
The doggy welcome pack was a lovely gesture on arrival.
There was an enclosed garden which made it really easy to let the dog out and to have somewhere to wash the dog after a muddy walk (and a dive into the canal!!).
The owners were very helpful when we had questions; and in one instance where something wasn't working they were there sorting it incredibly quickly to make sure there was no impact on our stay. Their customer service was really excellent.
The location was really good with plenty of walks and tourist attractions nearby and a nice pub with food down the road. It was easy access to go anywhere we wanted.
Genuinely sad to leave and really enjoyed our stay.

"The snug was just perfect for me and my little dog."
We arrived just before storm Arwen hit the country and woke up to deep snow on our first day! The snug was just as it said on the box, Snug! We were Toasty warm in front of the log fire. The cottage has everything you need, and is lovely and quiet, perfect for winding down and escaping from the busyness of life. I fell in love with it and will return again. Landlady, Jo, was super understanding when I lost the key in the snow while out on a walk.

"A beautiful cottage just made for two."
Easily found with the instructions given. A cosy cottage lovely and clean with everything you need for your stay. It sits in the middle of the main street but just down a little alley so no noise. A pub at each end of the street both with very friendly people, The Rising Sun does food but not the Nelson. A short ride to the supermarket for essentials but the cottage is perfectly placed for trips to neighboring tourist attractions, we did loads although it was quiet everywhere.

"Absolutely loved the cottage, beautiful and clean with everything you need."
Situated in a lovely friendly village. There are two pubs one at each end of the village, both great for taking your dogs in, it felt like popping in to a friend's at The Nelsons Arms unfortunately they don't serve food but The Rising Sun at the bottom of the village has a good selection of beer and food, we had to wait nearly an hour but it was worth it, great tasting pub grub!
