  • "Local short stay while new bathroom was being fitted."

Couldn’t ask for more in terms of comfort or convenience. Prosecco on arrival was a nice touch.

  • "The apartment was lovely it had everything wd needed."

The social club was good and everyone was very welcoming. Our only concern when we arrived was that there where 4 flights of stairs , where we knew it was not on the ground floor we didn't realise there would be do many. Luckily some of the customers helped carry out bags upstairs for us.

Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased you enjoyed our apartment. Sorry you had concerns about the stairs, however, we are pleased some of our lovely customers were on hand to help you out. Property Owner

  • "This is a lovely, comfortable apartment which was nice and warm when we arrived on a chilly evening."

Nicely furnished, very comfortable bed, modern well equipped kitchen. We heard very little noise from the social club downstairs when it was open, and most of the time no noise at all. The building is well situated near to local pubs and walks, in a peaceful part of the village and with a pretty view from the windows. Parking on the street was easy. Would definitely stay again.

  • "A nice little apartment but quite small for 4 people it would certainly be very cozy."

2 huge modern smart television which are great. It would be nice to have a vacuum cleaner and a Mop and bucket in the apartment for those that like to keep on top of things rather than having to ask for them. The apartment is situated on the top floor of a social club that you may use and is dog friendly which is nice but you will here banging doors and voices occasionally but it doesn't go on late. If you are tall in stature then then watch your head on the entrance door and the bedroom door. I am 6 feet and had to stoop to get through them. I would recommend this apartment.

Thankyou for your feedback Paul, we will make sure to leave the cleaning equipment in the flat for now. Property Owner

  • "Great stay!"

I would say the only things I believe the flat is missing, is a full length mirror and a small bin in the bathroom. Minor stuff. We failed to read the important notice, as this was tucked in the folder, but luckily didn't walk through the social club anyway

Thanks for your feedback Jenni, we will take these points on and make sure we have these things in future! Property Owner

  • "Thank you for letting us stay at the sunshine apartment."

As a family with a toddler, the first thing we want to acknowledge is that the apartment was very baby friendly. We could happily let him toddle about in the apartment which was fantastic for him and great for us! The location is great. We explored lots of the local area and the parts we visited that we needed to drive to were not too far in the car. The owners have also provided a folder of local hikes which they have kindly laminated for ease of taking with you! I thought that was a really nice touch. The facilities were ample and comfortable. We felt it was a home away from home kind of feel which was lovely! The social club downstairs was quiet (but we didn’t stay over the weekend when it was fully disclosed that it would be noisy) - we would have liked to have popped into the social for a drink in the evening but it’s members only, not sure if this is something that can be negotiated for future guests as I think that it is a nice feel. Jeff who runs the club is also very welcoming, which was nice. The bathroom would benefit from a towel rack as there is limited places to dry you wet towels but that’s just a constructive thought. Some touch ups are needed on fixings (as we have already text you about). We would absolutely stay there again. Thanks so much!

Thankyou for the good feedback and the constructive pointers, we have fixed these few things now. We hope to see you again! Property Owner

  • "Highly recommended!"

! A beautiful apartment to stay in with everything you could possibly need for the duration of your stay. Spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, cosy and in a fabulous location with stunning views. The local people are kind, welcoming and helpful. There is plenty to do within the area no matter the season and some wonderful walks. The social club beneath the apartment is lovely to pop into for a drink & a game of pool also. We had a really lovely week!

  • "Modern and spacious apartment."

The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. The games available in the apartment were a bonus as the kids enjoyed playing them. 2 huge tvs. Nice views and great location for exploring. Bus stop less than a minutes walk to Belper or Derby. A few suggestions for the owner; A hairdryer would be handy Some tiles behind the bathroom sink would be useful Some of the cutlery/cooking bowls/tea towels were a bit dirty and it would’ve been nice to have a new cloth/sponge rather than used. The water pressure wasn’t very good unless you wanted a cold shower When the flat was warm the front door scrapped against the nice floor so could do with sanding perhaps to protect the floor a bit. Would recommend for a few days away exploring this lovely area.

Thanks for the feedback Alison, I will pass your pointers onto the owners. We hope you enjoyed your stay! Property Owner
