Clun Forest Cottage

The owners were very helpful without becoming overly involved but would help if required .

There were plenty of towels plus toilet and shower gel ,plus a welcome pack provided more than you could need on your arrival. The cottage was quite within a lovely location plus being dog friendly was good. We had a lovely week there.

We have loved staying at Clun Forest cottage.

It is incredibly well equipped, even down to the can of fly killer,The garden is fabulous and I spent most mornings having breakfast in the garden listening and watching the birds. We have loved it so much we moved over into Herdwick Cottage for a few extra days.Thank you xxxxxx

This cottage was the perfect size for 4 of us, place was clean and well presented.

Marg the owner was great to talk to, helpful and friendly. She was funny to listen to when she was talking to sheep and cows that were in the next field. Overall everyone had a great time there and we would recommend Corve barn farm to anyone that wants a great relaxing and peaceful stay. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you to all at corve farm for making us welcome and comfortable. Richard and Michele visiting from Canada.

Lovely property within a small complex of 3 other cottages.

Sitting area/dining / kitchen was bright and spacious. 2 double Bedrooms were cosy. Lovely basket of goodies left by the owner, much appreciated, as were the freshly picked strawberries.

The entrance was very poor, old paint tins and brushes, dirty table and chairs bird mess not cleared away.

The cottage would be very cramped for four people, only one bedroom has a wardrobe. The lounge area has two very worn leather sofas, one is pushed up against the television unit making it impossible for four people to watch it. The table and chairs are also positioned that it is impossible to seat four. Outside the furniture is very poor, the space is shared with other residents, and unfortunately there was dog mess in quite a few places. Needless to say we would not come back.

Lovely little cottage, very friendly owners on site to assist.

Our children loved the garden with slides and swing, there is a lovely view and cows out the back of the property. Would recommend and we hope to return.

A very comfortable well equipped home from home in a superb location with very kind welcoming hosts.

Beautifully warm house with plenty of space. Parking right outside. Extremely quiet. Lots of nice touches including apple juice, biscuits and milk / coffee / tea and lots of shampoo etc. Shop with food essentials and gifts in site. Sheep and a couple of cows on site. Kids would love it. So much to see in Shropshire from this location.

We had a lovely weeks stay at Clun Forest Cottage.

Had friendly contact with Margaret before our stay 're key collection. The cottage was lovely and cosy, with extras of soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, tea, coffee and sugar left for us. The little farm shop was helpful for anything you ran out of and had the best freshest eggs we've ever had with lovely friendly service. The area is great for walks, we did all the nearby National Trust walks, Wenlock Edge and the Long Mynd and also drove 30 minutes to Staffordshire to go to Rock Houses. The local villages are nice and Ludlow has a lot going on with a castle and forest walks at Mortimer forest where our daughter found great fossils there and at Wenlock Edge. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Clun Forest Cottage is part of a barn conversion in a beautiful farm setting.

From the dining room, you look out over the garden to a field of sheep and beyond that some Highland cattle. With the hills behind, it is just a wonderful and peaceful setting. The cottage is very well presented with everything clean and tidy. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are extremely comfortable - it is all excellent. We had a lovely time in Shropshire and I would recommend anyone who wishes to visit the area to consider Clun Forest Cottage as a beautiful base from which to explore.

Our second visit to Clun Forest Cottage was very enjoyable.

On two hot days it was nice to find the cottage cool and comfortable. Its position is ideal for visiting Ironbridge, Church Stretton and Much Wenlock where we had very good meals at The Fox Inn. We would highly recommend the cottage for anyone looking to explore this part of Shropshire.

Wonderful hosts and fantastic property.

We will definitely stay again if back in the area.

Very friendly and helpful owners.

Rural location with amazing views of countryside and very quiet. Super farm shop selling groceries, gifts and coffees. Accommodation clean, very comfortable and equipped with everything you could need.

Three barns linked together.

Very well equipped and comfortable. Everything you need for your stay and in a quiet position. Lovely outlook, rolling fields with animals. The owner lives close by so if you need information she is always on hand. Most enjoyable stay.

Clun Forest Cottage was a perfect base from which to explore the area.

Very clean and comfortable and very friendly owners who were around if you needed them but not intrusive in any way. Excellent break.

Well equipped property, good location, very friendly and helpful owners.

Obviously the Highland Cattle were the best neighbours!

Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable, well equipped- the location is perfect very peaceful with lovely views of the Shropshire countryside.

Marg and Chris were very welcoming and enjoyed our chats with them. Good luck with the lawn roller!! Gill and Mike.

An excellent, much needed short break.

Very clean and comfortable in lovely countryside. Would definitely recommend.

Clun cottage was a lovely place to stay.

It was really well equipped, quiet and in beautiful surroundings. It was spotlessly clean and the hosts were really friendly.

Excellent location and accommodation, well equipped, friendly owners, highly recommended.

Clun Forest Cottage is a very comfortable cosy cottage in a lovely part of the country.

It is very clean, well equipped, with comfy beds and easy parking. The owners, Margaret and Chris were very helpful and left delicious cake, wine and chocolates. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage.

Very well catered cottage.

Even a toiletry box in bathroom with those things we might forget. Nice welcome package of wine and local cake. Hosts very helpful and friendly. Perfect location for exploring. We took our dog and the large garden was super for him to play and run about.

We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay at Clun Forest Cottage - The owners couldn't be more helpful.

Highly recommended.

Clun Forrest Cottage is a lovely holiday site, the facilities were excellent and owners very friendly.

A very relaxing break. Dog friendly as well

This property is a little piece of heaven; it is a beautiful barn conversion set in the middle of the Shropshire rolling hills, with views to die for and the peace and quiet that comes with country living.

The property has everything you could wish for and is very contemporary in style. The owner even left us a fantastic welcome hamper of home made scones and cake, a box of chocs and a bottle of wine. We WILL be back!

Beautiful well equipped cottage in a stunning rural location.

The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and the welcome wine and treats went down very well. The hosts were also very helpful, friendly and relaxed. The cottage shares parking and an open patio and garden with the adjoining 2 cottages which we had not gathered from the description. This wasn’t a problem for us but may not be for everyone.

This property is lovely in every respect, just losing a few points because of a very poor internet connection.

It was difficult to tell if this was down to equipment or geography. The views are delightful.
