  • "We had an excellent few days break at Blossoms Cottage."

It is a lovely cottage and very comfortable. There is so much to do and see in the area and, above all, peace and quiet is amazing. It was great to walk around the nearby woodland and there are two very welcoming local pubs nearby. Sharon and Mike are very welcoming hosts and we will definitely be returning.

  • "Blossoms cottage is a nice detached 2 storey building with adjacent detached annex situated off the main courtyard next to Hazles Farm Childcare."

It has a tennis court too, if you have the inclination. The owners are friendly and helpful whilst the property itself is really nice with everything you could need during your stay. We were impressed by the cleanliness, and it was nice to have effective central heating and a good sized shower, also a very comfortable bed, all set in a quiet location. We enjoyed some excellent meals at the Fox and Hounds Gastropub in Shawbury, there is also a nice well stocked garden centre with café, exactly a 1 mile walk down the road, as well as a small pub (turning left out of the farm gate). The cottage also has a south facing conservatory ideal for an afternoon coffee or evening appetiser. Thank you Sharon and Mike for your hospitality and the kind gift of a bottle of Italian bubbly.

  • "Kitchen lacked any bowls, dishwasher tablets or bin liners."

Annexe was cold compared with the house - one radiator never got warm. Annexe wet room lacked any means of drying the floor. The owners were very friendly. Property well located - easy access to Shrewsbury and the countryside.

  • "We had awesome stay at Blossom’s cottage."

Extremely impressed with the accommodations. The annex was great for the kids as it gave them their own little space as well as ours. Sharon and Mike were also friendly throughout out stay and accommodating to us. Will definitely be looking to return here as it’s a great place to stay and within easy reach of Shrewsbury. Thanks for our stay

  • "I had a wonderful week staying in this lovely cottage."

A nice touch was the welcome items the owners provided such as home baked biscuits, eggs from their chickens as well as fresh flowers picked from their garden. The cottage had all the facilities I needed and was very comfortable.

  • "We had a lovely holiday."

We had never stayed in Shropshire before and we discovered so many places to visit! Blossom’s Cottage is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Sharon and Mike were excellent hosts. Had the weather been better we would have attempted some of the walks close to the cottage, so we have that in mind for our next visit!

Nice to be able to sit in the conservatory or garden for a relax after visiting the local attractions. Good shower in the bathroom and comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend this property to my family and friends.

  • "We are very happy to recommend this lovely little cottage which was exactly as it looks in the photos."

Comfortable, spotlessly clean, just two minutes drive to the thriving village of Shawbury with all the required amenities, butchers, bakers, cooperative store, pubs, fish and chips and other takeaways and a short drive to Shrewsbury. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and anxious to please. Lovely little country pub and amazing garden centre just down the lane, a minutes drive or a brisk twenty minute walk. We would return in an instant.

The cottage and annex had everything you would need for a home from home stay. The owners were lovely and helpful and our son loved the soft play and playground once the nursey closed. We cant wait to come back!

They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and so did their family. Great facilities at the cottage, particularly the children's play areas and woods which our kids adored.
