Just finished a weeks stay here and can't praise this place enough. We are a group of blokes who go cycling one a year and have rented a few of this type of place over the years. This has definitely been the best so far. It is well equipped, clean, spacious and for us (needing easy access to cycle routes) ideally located. Nice quite location (apart from the sheep) has a secure lockup for our bikes and a nice view from the patio when relaxing with a beer after a days ride. The owners are very pleasant and helpful, and thoughtful too, we arrive to find milk in the fridge, plenty of tea and coffee and a lovely lemon drizzle cake waiting for us. Highly recommended, and I would certainly go back.

This cottage is situated beside a bridleway, connecting many miles of outstanding countryside, and is therefore ideal for mountain bikers, cyclists and walkers.

Beautifully furnished throughout to provide spacious accommodation, this Edale cottage is perfect for a family to enjoy the outdoor life on offer in the Peak District.

There are three spacious bedrooms and with the open plan living area, there is plenty of room to enjoy each other's company and plan the day's activities in this wonderful part of Derbyshire.

Outside is a pretty garden with a patio and lawn where you can enjoy a drink on sunny evenings whilst you watch the sun set over the stunning countryside views.

Edale is a lovely village community with a Post Office, shop and a couple of good pubs serving food, but it is best known as the start of the famous Pennine Way, and all around are excellent walks for all abilities.

Nearby is the popular village of Castleton with its Blue John Cavern and castle as well as the pretty Hope Valley villages.

The spa town of Buxton with its shops, restaurants and magnificent Opera House is within easy reach or you could spend a day exploring the magnificent Ladybower Reservoir.

A wonderful family cottage to enjoy at any time of the year!
