  • “We enjoyed the holiday home and it was ideal for a large family gathering.”

I gave some feedback to the person who takes care of it, a lot of the mugs had pretty big chips around the rim, some plates too when we arrived, they should have really been thrown away - he suggested people do not advise them, so we left them on the kitchen table. The TV broke when we were there on the Monday and on Tuesday they provided a new one which was fantastic of them to get it over so quickly. ...

We know the area, Bakewell and Matlock, I would say the worst thing about the property was how busy the road out front of the house was, it was often difficult to get out and not good for walking as the local footpath was overgrown and left only width for one and we had small children in our party, obviously that is not the owners fault. It was a nice house and well equipped with appliances and even though there appeared to be no heating on, it was warm enough, there was a gas fire and CH if needed.
