Fantastic apartment in a great location in Buxton.

Big kitchen- living room on the first floor, plus a big comfy lounge on the second floor...both beautifully furnished.The roof terrace (Great views) and hot tub were amazing. As it is on the second floor,there are a lot of stairs ,so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.One parking space outside,but plenty of on road parking around back of Buxton.We would definitely book again!. One request...please could we have some mirrors near plug sockets , for using hairdryers??

Very suitable for a group of 8 adult walkers.

The hot tub was wonderful after each day’s walk. Highly recommended

We had a great family weekend staying at the Rooftop in Buxton recently.

The apartment is very well equipped (we cooked and fed seven)and spotlessly clean. It has two sitting rooms and we particularly loved the top room where we adjourned of an evening before a dip in the hot tub! We were made very welcome on arrival and managed to park the 2 extra cars easily at the station around the corner for a small fee. I would highly recommend the Rooftop for a stay and the local area has lots to do, we enjoyed The Forest Distillery and Pooles Cavern and a great varied selection of restaurants nearby.

The flat is in an excellent location; ideal for the railway station and all the amenities in Central Buxton.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The flat had everything we needed and it was useful having the two sitting areas/ rooms. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Highly recommend for a family or friend's group.

The apartment is beautiful, to a high standard, immaculately clean, so spacious, well equipped & in a perfect location. Instructions were very clear,, brief (as sometimes there's dos & don'ts everywhere ). As we saw the owners, they were very helpful & it was really great to be able to check things out. Will definitely stay again.

Central apartment only one parking space for 8 people but parking close by.

Lots of stairs 4pm check in but 9am departure is very early asked for an extension was given 9.30. It had 3 bathrooms which was useful for a large party. Did not use the hot tub seemed a lot of work to put new filters each time it was the location which suited us for a wedding which was close by.

The property and the owner were fabulous.

Just one issue was the sink in top bedroom did not drain properly. Otherwise perfect.

4 of us stayed for 2 nights.

Great to have our own bedrooms and bathroom. Disappointed no welcome pack, a pint of milk, bottle of wine and some local products would have made all the difference, there were only 2 tea bags. The location is perfect but parking is a nightmare especially with a large car, we struggled to get the posts up and down thank goodness it wasn't raining. The rooftop is lovely but the table and chairs needed to be wiped down before we could use them and they really could do with replacing. We were initially disappointed with the hot tub as no seats but once we were in it was fine. The pillows aren't very good quality and need pillow protectors on them. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay just a few things would have made it even better

We absolutely loved the Rooftop - it was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed.

The location was excellent. The information pre-arrival was detailed and recommendations on parking were very well received. The only slight negative was because of the hot tub, it was a tight squeeze to get 7 of us on the roof terrace.

The Rooftop is a beautiful apartment with all mod cons. It could not have been better.

The Rooftop is a superb property in a very convenient location.

We had a great time and would definitely return. A few small niggles which might seem really picky but hopefully is constructive. There were 3 of us staying and we were only provided with 3 sets of towels. I think an additional hand towel in each of the bathrooms should have been provided (bath mats were provided). We bought a couple to use during our stay. The towels that were provided also all had bleach marks on them. The towel ring in the downstairs bathroom was broken, as was the airer in the kitchen. The utensils in the kitchen weren’t of great quality either, such as the peeler and pizza wheel which bent when using. The knives were also not very good but a sharpener was provided. The placemats and tables in the lounge/kitchen area could do with replacing as they weren’t of a great standard. Some of the crockery was put away dirty so maybe this needs checking a bit more thoroughly. Food was left in the freezer too (ice lollies and garlic bread) which ought to have been removed. There were also condiments left in the cupboard which is fine but we threw away the mayonnaise as it should be refrigerated! The grill pan was filthy when we arrived (I did clean it during or stay). The main light in the twin room wasn’t working either. Whilst all this might sound very negative, The Rooftop is a really lovely place to stay, extremely warm and comfortable. The beds were super comfy and the hot tub was amazing. The weather was pretty awful whilst we were there but it didn’t matter as we were very happy relaxing in the apartment. The lounge upstairs is a real treat, huge and very comfortable for us. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, in a very convenient location to explore Buxton. We had tapas at Santiago, pasta at St Moritz and a delicious meal at Simply Thai.. all within a 2 minute walk of the apartment. You wouldn’t go hungry in Buxton! All in all, I would certainly recommend it as a place to stay!

Great property very central to Buxton town.

The flat was very clean and spacious great 2nd living room with a very comfy sofa. Please note there are many stairs to climb to get to the flat so if you have mobility issues this may cause you a problem. Was able to check in early which was a big bonus having travelled 3 1/2 hours by car, Very handy to have a parking space right outside the flat and plenty of free on street parking close by.

Had a superb 4 night break at this amazing apartment.

Everything you could want and more. Location was perfect and the owner Howard and his lovely family and staff were so friendly and helpful. Restaurant recommendations were first class. Would return anytime. Kathy and co (the Golden Girls.. )

100% Excellent Beautiful, clean, lovely and warm, as described and very spacious.

Absolutely no unwanted noise from the town but right in the centre for convenience. Perfect location for Buxton town and Pools cave/ Solomon’s temple. Lovely helpful owners if required. All shops very handy. We will return hopefully and I have recommended it to various friends. A couple of pretty night lights on the roof garden area could be a little suggestion - but no changes needed. We had a fabulous time. Thank you

A clean, modern flat conveniently set in the centre of Buxton.

Really close to lovely restaurants and the shops. We really enjoyed using the hot tub on the roof (once we’d worked out how to heat it up!). The Buxton pavilion gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area including Pooles cavern and the Corbar Cross. A lovely setting for a short break, thank you!

Parking a problem and 9am exit time a bit early

Nice break in decent apartment with good facilities.

Unfortunately dishwasher wasn't working on arrival and it wasn't possible to fix it during our week despite best efforts. Owner had also been let down by previous group who had somehow managed to break a bed. Fortunately, this was not required.

Stunning property, very clever use of space, everything was comfy and clean, can’t fault it one bit.

Thank you, would highly recommend as Buxton is stunning and this property made our trip ever better.

The Rooftop was a brilliant property, in top condition with excellent amenities.

As a group of friends we all absolutely loved our stay and will be back in the future!

Lovely flat in central Buxton, spacious and well equipped.

One parking space (the owner was very helpful with our key problem!). The children particularly enjoyed the upstairs lounge, and the roof top hot tub was enjoyed by all of us. Ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District, and Buxton's many attractions. Unfortunately, as Yorkshire half term a week early, some of the places we wanted to visit were not open.

Great accommodation.

Plenty of room for 4 couples in comfortable bedrooms. Excellent location in the centre of Buxton yet quiet and peaceful.

The apartment was ideal for our group and the facilities were very clean and well maintained .

The kitchen had everything you need so no need to bring anything . The only thing we purchased were toilet rolls . The apartment was very central and the bonus of one parking space and plenty of reasonable parking nearby . The owners were lovely and we would definitely book again .

The cottage was excellent.

It had everything we needed. Great location and was very clean and comfortable. Our only gripe was checkout time is very early (9am on a Sunday). 11am would be more reasonable and in line with most other places and would still give 5 hours to get the cottage ready for the next guests at 4pm.

The owners have thought of everything for a fantastic and comfortable stay and there is nothing to say other than "thank you".

The location of the property was perfect, the kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub was a great bonus etc.

Unfortunately the cleanliness was disappointing, for me, that let this property down. We found some of the previous guests food in the freezer, very off putting indeed. Crumbs of food in the kitchen cupboards and in the fridge itself. I don’t want to run the place down - because it has great potential, after traveling 7 hours that day it was just disappointing to have to start cleaning before I put our food in the fridge etc. Again unfortunately we noticed, towards the end of our weeks stay, that the fridge was not working to full capacity and unfortunately some of our food had gone off. But having said all that we did enjoy our time away and Buxton itself is a wonderful place to visit.

It was amazing, everything well prepared, nice hospitality, we felt our home.

I can’t rate this place, and the owner/manager highly enough.

We had a fantastic time and the central location was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone in the apartment, and very well equipped. The only thing we occasionally would have found useful was a smaller coffee plunger for if only a couple of people want a cup. The info on what to do in the are was very helpful.

The Rooftop in Buxton is fantastic.

A really great apartment that would suit a group or a couple of families. It has everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Highly recommended. We will be rebooking.

Stayed at the Rooftop for my daughters hen weekend, the accommodation has everything you could ask for.

We'll equipped, spotlessly clean, comfy lounge areas & amazing outside space with hot tub , within minutes to the town with lots of bars & restaurants to choice from. As for the owners of the property really lovely people any questions/issues they were there straight away, cannot say anything negative about this apartment will definitely be returning

A really high-quality apartment in the centre of Buxton which felt luxurious and spacious.

Furnishings were really comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus.

Overall, excellent accommodation and location with the rooftop hot tub and parking a bonus.

Buxton is a great place with lots of fantastic bars and restaurants and places to visit. Would have been 5 stars if not for 2 items: A) (not owners fault) - Sykes still have policy of 9am departure for leaving. This is out dated as other companies have moved back to 10am. We left the night before as getting 2 children out for this time on top of everything else would have meant a very early start! B) Matresses were uncomfortable/poor quality. Had to sleep on the old single matress that was comfortable, if not ideal.

Absolutely great place to stay, fabulous views from roof, hot tub is a real bonus.

Apartment is equipped with everything needed for comfortable stay, self catering was easy with the well equipped kitchen . Owner lives nearby and was welcoming and very accommodating Beautiful town and lots of historic places to visit , town full of bars/pubs and restaurants Ready to book again

Great place for a family gathering.

Plenty of space to sit and relax, very high standard of furnishings with such comfortable sofas and beds. The apartment is right in the heart of Buxton centre so easy access to all shops, cafes and pubs. Perfect setting and the owner could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend.

The Rooftop is a convenient, comfortable and very well planned property.

There was a generous welcome pack and great care had been taken over the Christmas decorations. We found the detailed information booklet most useful. Add to this comfortable beds beautiful cotton bed linen and a hot tub - we wanted for nothing and will most definitely be back. An exceptional property.

This property was a gem of a find.

Right in the heart of Buxton. It was SO clean. Everything was provided. We only brought food with us, nothing else was needed. The photos for this property do not do it justice it’s just fab. There were 8 of us celebrating my 40th and we had the bet time at this property!!!!

A fabulous flat - everything had been thought of to ensure a home from home feel to the place.

Howard and his son were extremely helpful throughout our week.Superb location and walking distance to a great selection of restaurants and pubs. All in all would thoroughly recommend. The cleanliness of the flat was of the highest standard and clearly it has been built and furnished extremely well - to a much higher standard than other rental properties we have ever stayed in. Five stars definitely.

Stayed for a week at the Rooftop.

The property was very comfy and spacious. Loved the hot tub and being in a great location for all facilities. Great choice of restaurants, shops and entertainment. Would definitely recommend this property. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at The Rooftop in Buxton.

We are a family of five and found the accommodation spacious and very clean. The property was uncluttered, well-furnished, with excellent facilities. The owner lives very close by and proved to be warm, welcoming, attentive, and very helpful. The Rooftop, as one might expect, is accessed via two flights of stairs in addition to being split over two levels, which may not suit everyone's access needs. The ceilings are generally very high, although the upstairs rooms have sloped eaves and some head-bump hazards for the tall among us. The location in central Buxton was superb for access to food, sight-seeing, and shopping. The roads are busy, but night-time noise was not too bad. The lockable parking space that comes with the property is an excellent bonus. We greatly enjoyed the Rooftop's signature roof terrace, which has a dining table and hot tub. It's very private touch of luxury. It is possible to smell food cooking from the restaurant below, but it's not overwhelming or unwelcome. The flat was very comfortable - beds and sofas very soft, dining tables, chairs, and bar stools very practical. The kitchen was well-equipped and convenient. We found the flat, particularly the uppermost bedroom very warm, even with the thermostat set low, but it was not a problem. In short I would recommend the Rooftop as a good base to stay in to explore Buxton and The Peaks.

We had a problem accessing the property, because you had sent us the key code for the property below us.

So we had to stand outside for half an hour at midnight until we could finally get in contact with one of the landlords, who was able to tell us the correct key code and we could finally enter and get some sleep after the long drive. That aside, the property is wonderful. Modern, with top-notch decor and great facilities. The location is great, too, situated right in the heart of town, but quiet as well.

The roof terrace and hot tub adds an extra touch of luxury and fun! Our hosts were lovely and very helpful. Thank you very much. Buxton is filled with lots of places to visit, eat and walk. We have had a fantastic week and would highly recommend staying at the Rooftop.

I think the 9 am on departure day is very unrealistic Especially if your travelling .

Most locations are 11 am. That was my only criticism we had the best weekend ever apartment was fabulous , location fantastic xx will definitely be back
