Angel's Cottage

We had a fabulous week, thanks so much.

The cottage is spotless, cosy and has everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The location is perfect, close to all the amenities lovely Tideswell has to offer. Couldn’t fault a thing and would love to return.

We had a fabulous stay at Angels cottage.

Everything was perfect, fabulous walks from the door and lovely pubs in the village to round off the day. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds were amazingly comfy, the little outdoor area was sweet and a lovely addition to the lounge area. Would definitely recommend if you’re after a quiet and relaxing break.

Lovely cosy cottage in a fantastic village.

Highly recommend Angel's Cottage, we loved the fact the village had some lovely pubs, great places to eat and a wee shop all within a stroll of the cottage. Easy access to the highlights of the Dales by car and when not using the car some cracking walks and runs from the door step. The cottage had everything we needed and would love a return visit.

Cottage is in a super position 5 mins walk from couple nice pubs/ shops.

Lovely walks on your doorstep hardly had to use the car. Would use again

Loved our stay at Angel's cottage.

Clean and tidy. Well equipped kichen. The sofas were comfy. The log burner made it really cosy in the evenings. Fully enclosed rear courtyard. No problems parking opposite the cottage. The village of tideswell has a coop, cafe and pubs. And only a quick drive to Bakewell or Buxton. Highly recommend this cottage. Will be booking again.

We stayed with our 2 dogs and the Cottage worked very well for us all - it is nicely decorated with lots of nice home comforts and touches and the outdoor secure courtyard is very handy too! It was really nice to be able to come back from a walk and light the woodburner. The bed was very comfy too! Tideswell is also a lovely friendly village and very dog friendly as well - we visited some of the pubs for food and the local Italian too and also got take away pizza from one of the pubs which was very good! Would definitely recommend a stay at Angels Cottage :)

Very nice cottage perfect location for walks.

Shops and pubs few minutes walk. Cottage nice and cosy everything you need. Booked again will be 3rd time everything we need highly recomended.

This place was absolutely stunning.

It wells a great base to go walking but to be honest it was that cosy we ended up chilling most of our time here. Really clean and will definitely boom again we felt truly spoilt

The village has a great selection of pubs, restaurants & takeaways offering great food with friendly service. Will definitely book again.

Lovely & comfortable cottage in a nice town

It was nice to see the updates ie a new sofa and the door locks are much easier to use (especially with my arthritic fingers!!) The cottage was very clean and comfy and the slate floor perfect for paws!

Fabulous property - modern (but empathetic to the age of the property), clean and comfortable.

There's everything in Tideswell, within very easy walking distance, that you need - a couple of pubs, 2 decent restaurants and a convenience shop. Tideswell is a chocolate box village itself, (amazing church!) but is also perfectly positioned in the heart of the Peaks making easy access to most of the key places you will want to visit. The owner is very communicative too. Cannot fault Angel's Cottage. 10/10!

The owner is very helpful if needed. The location is great for going out and exploring. There are also plenty of places to eat and amenities in the village.

Perfect little cottage in a lovely area, close to pubs and shops.

Easy to find using the postcode provided, clean and tidy. The master bed was so comfortable. The bunk beds looked very comfortable as well. We had a cute little doggy welcome pack, which was nice.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Angel's Cottage.

Tideswell is a lovely place from which to explore the Peaks and Angel's Cottage was a beautiful, peaceful home from home in which to enjoy the splendid May weather. Given the weather, we didn't need the fire, however, can we'll imagine an Autumn evening spent in front of it. Main bed is exceptionally comfortable and the shower is excellent with an overhead outlet and a hand piece. Lovely to be able to sit outside the front in the spring warmth and enjoy the tranquility of the setting. We very much hope to return.

. . . could not fault, really lovely location, some great walks on your doorstep. Great to comeback to a real fire after a walk in the Dales. We highly recommend and will be back

Amazing stay. Beautiful location. The cottage has everything you could need and more. Great local amenities. So much thanks to the host for giving me the break away I really needed and wanted. We WILL BE back!

We had a lovely stay at Angel's Cottage.

It is conveniently located, well equipped, and nicely decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. Amy was a great host and was quick to respond to messages. We would definitely recommend to others wanting to stay in the Peak District.

The owner was lovely and allowed us to go in early and kept us fully informed about the cottage. 10/10 Customer Service. The cottage was just so beautiful, very very clean, and just so cosy. The welcome package, cakes and mulled wine was very welcomed, thank you so much. The beds in the cottage were just so comfortable and very well needed after a day walking around the beautiful village of Tideswell. We had the most wonderful weekend and the local people, including Amy the owner, were some of the most friendliest people we have ever met! Thank you once again, and we hope to visit again sometime soon. Finally, we will be sure to recommend Angel Cottage to all our friends and family.

What a lovely little cottage.

Decorated to a very high standard. We loved everything about it. The heated outdoor seating was a nice bonus.

Lovely property in a great location.

We have stayed here previously and both times we have found the property very clean and well presented. The welcome pack of a bottle of red and chocolate cake was most welcome after a long drive. Would highly recommend anyone to stay at this beautiful property.

We loved our stay in Angels Cottage.

We stayed there with our pets (2 cats and a dog) and it was perfect! Everything was well thought off. Amy even bought treats for the pets. We felt at home from the first minute we walked in. We had an amazing stay!

Lovely cottage, very clean and has everything you could need.

It has high end equipment which made cooking etc much easier. Shame there were no dishwasher tablets left for us to use.

We loved the cottage.

It was small and very comfortable. Everything we needed. We liked that we could walk to the village to the pubs and bakery. Our only slight problem was the dogs wouldn’t go into the courtyard we had to walk them to the park. Which was fine just wished we had better weather. Loads to see and do in the area, with stunning scenery and gorgeous villages.

We felt at home as soon as we walked in to Angel's cottage.

Very warm and welcoming after a rainy drive up. The rain didn't stay though and the sun shone on the (heatlamped if you needed it) courtyard garden in the morning and on the front terrace for all the afternoon and in to the evening. A bright, airy cosy and tastefully decorated cottage that felt like home and we wouldn't hesitate recommending a stay here. It was really lovely - thank you x

A really lovely and comfortable cottage, superbly placed for local amenities and nearby beautiful walks in the Dales.

We even had good enough weather to make use of the pleasant seating area to the front. Beds were all super comfy and we loved the under floor heating. A dust pan and brush would have been helpful and we could have made use of larger pint style glasses. Highly recommend Pie night at the Star Inn!!!! We would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely cottage set in a perfect location for exploring the Peak District.

Lounge was very cosy with the log burner and underfloor heating . Shower really nice and the bed very comfortable. Pub is a 2 minute walk away which served really nice meals and dog friendly too .Some welcome treats left by Amy which was really nice too . Would definitely recommend to stay here .

Beautiful cosy cottage - a home away from home for us and our two dogs.

Lovely fire and underfloor heating and the shower was heavenly! Kitchen really well equipped. Thoughtful touches... wine and dog treats waiting for us. Thank you, we hope to be back!

Would definitely try and stay there again . Owner very helpful when I contacted her with a question during our stay. Very comfy bed

We had a couple of problems with the heating and the shower in the beginning but the host was very communicative and apologetic.

Other than that it was lovely. Great cottage in a cute little village with everything you could need.

Beautifully furnished.

We were very comfortable. Our host made the place look very Christmassy which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Tideswell has everything you need.

We visited in Nov 2023 Lovely bijou terrace house.

The property has been well furnished and a lot of thought has gone into it . Location was ideal Parking bay is opposite and is tight, we managed to get parked in the market square, easily. That might not be so easy during the summer but that is as expected We really enjoyed our time there and walking in the surrounding area. Thank you

Well presented property, exactly as described, secure court yard for the dog, no problem parking the car, really good location in the village.
