• "A comfortable home from home vibe."

  Very modern amenities. Only a few slight issues. There was a stray head hair in the bed when I pulled the duvet back. The outside bin still had dog waste in from the previous tenant. The outside of the property didn't look as good as the pictures as there were weeds in yard and cobwebs around the windows.

  Clean and well maintained but only a very small amount of crockery etc which was irritating and required constant washing up.

• "Stay Fri 24th-Fri 31st July."

  Overall ok. However first impressions upon arrival, not so good. 3 black bags of rubbish outside the front door and dog mess in the back yard that hadn't been picked up from previous guests. Dog poo bin in the back yard had not been emptied, in view of the warm weather, not great! Lots of weeds in the back yard against all the fencing, had to be weeded before we could let the dog out, as we didn't want our small dog eating them in case they were harmful, obviously other dogs had urinated up them as well (and on the plant pots dotted around-which gave off a urine smell) picked up the dog mess left, and swilled the yard down. Contacted Sykes at the time and whilst on the phone to them the cleaning company turned up to collect the rubbish and on mentioning the dog poo bin had also not been emptied to the lovely chap he emptied and disinfected this and apologised for this and that they had been running late that day. Strong 'dog' smell on entering the property, as other guests have commented on and noted in the guest book. Don't think the guest book is being read by the property owner/letting company. As the comments and suggestions, i.e, to have a hose pipe attached to the outside tap to wash down the yard, was a great idea, but didn't seem to be looked into or actioned upon. We also had to leave a note on one of the dining chairs which was very wobbly and unsafe. It was comfortable and had everything we required for our stay, we just felt that it was lacking in a few important and hygienic details if also allowing pets to also stay at the property.

• "Lovely cottage, clean and well equipped with everything we needed , nice Quiet location, half hour walk to Tenby town and beach but plenty of regular taxies and a bus service from the main road."

  Two spaces for cars outside and a nice area to sit outside in the evening sunshine. Our little dog loved it too ! Mandy.

• "Very happy 4 night stay in No."

  22. Not our usual accommodation type but very pleased with comfort and cleanliness. Only slight criticism was no welcome pack ie milk, coffee etc which is usual for us when staying at holiday cottage’s.

• "A very pleasant few days at the cottage, clean and comfortable and everything included for an enjoyable stay."

  Only one problem, we could not close the living room door as the hinge had come off at the top frame so for the duration of our stay it was left open. Apart from this everything was satisfactory and if we came back to Tenby we would definitely stay again .

• "Can't fault the accommodation."

  However, after a 5hr journey, a welcome pack of coffee, tea, etc would have been very much appreciated. Essentials would also have been nice. We had to do a shop for necessities, such as toilet rolls. But overall our stay was very enjoyable and will certainly use you again

However, we do provide a starter welcome pack which includes washing-up liquid, a sponge, a J-cloth, and other basic cleaning essentials. We also provide a kitchen roll, toilet rolls, tea towels, and bath towels for our guests. We're sorry if these items were not easy to locate during your stay, and we will review how we communicate what is provided to ensure future guests are aware. As a self-catering property, we do not currently provide tea, coffee, sugar, but we do provide a welcome pack containing a sponge, dish cloth, washing up liquid and dish washer tablets . • "What a delightful experience at 22 The Clicketts."

  The process of checking in and checking out was seamless. Very happy we chose this lovely cottage. The instructions about the amenities were clearly communicated in the handbook as well as the email. The house itself was amazing.. cozy and carefully decorated and cleanliness was top-notch. It's actually better than the pictures. The communication was great. We were the first guests as this is a new property and we were a bit apprehensive as there were no reviews but this place surpassed our expectations. Would highly recommend staying at 22 The Clicketts.
