Perched in the charming town of Aberfeldy, in Perth and Kinross, is this charming first-floor apartment, Struan House.
Set over one floor and sleeping up to five guests, Struan House makes for a fantastic pet-friendly getaway for a family adventure to Scotland, with amenities just a stone’s throw away and easy access to Pitlochry and Perth.
After a long day of exploring, look forward to relaxing in the spacious living/dining room, where you can snuggle up on the sofa and enjoy a family film night on the TV.
Create tasty home-cooked meals for your guests in the fully functioning kitchen, before settling down around the dining table to tuck-in and toast to the wonderful days ahead.
Pop on your pyjamas and make a hot chocolate, before retreating to one of two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double and a family room with double and single, to catch your rest.
Wake-up tired eyes with a refreshing shower, before setting out for the day to explore.
Wander into the local town, where you will find a host of activity right on your doorstep, with an excellent selection of pubs, restaurants and shops ensuring you have everything you could need, the scenic Birks of Aberfeldy where you can soak up the sights of the beautiful waterfalls and countryside, the Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery, where you can sample a selection of whiskeys, enjoy a tour of the 1890’s distillery and its interactive museum.
For the walkers and cyclists in your party, there is a 10-mile trail alongside the River Tay, where you can stroll leisurely and watch the world go by.
For thrill seekers, there is also the option to take part in white water rafting, paintballing, canyoning and river adventure trips with Splash White Water Rafting.
Just a little further is the town of Pitlochry, home to the ruins of the once remarkable Black Castle, here you can learn more about the local area at the Atholl Palace Museum or make a stop at the Pitlochry Fish Ladder.
For a superb walk, be sure to visit the Faskally Forest, an area well-known for its hiking and bird watching, as well as a pretty lake.
However, you decide to spend your time, be sure to choose Struan House as your home-away-from-home.

Struan House is the perfect place to enjoy all that Aberfeldy offers.
Situated on the town square, just across is the Birks Cinema which in addition to films and live streaming events, has a cafe, and offers space for many community events. It is a short walk to the Co-op for groceries, and the shops and restaurants on the High Street. The flat has large rooms and is comfortably furnished. It also offers free Wi-Fi, lots of books, and a very pleasant stay.
We had a fantastic stay at StruanHouse House.
The apartment was comfortable, cosy, and clean. Communication was easy and really helpful. It was the perfect location for exploring Aberfeldy and the immediate surrounding area that has so much to offer! Would definitely highly recommend.
Lovely flat!
The beds were comfortable, pillows were great (which is unusual!). The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cutlery and unlike other accommodations it had sharp knives!!! It's location was fab in the middle of Aberfeldy and there was ample parking up the road. Will definitely look for this again when we go back!
