The cottage was lovely and clean though not very disabled friendly My wife struggled to get in and out of the door as there were no handles to hold onto The shower was sloppy mat would have been handy no curtains at the bedroom windows meningitis bright in the morning We enjoyed our slavery much it was a nice breakeven the weather was not too bad Would recommend it to people xxx

The cottage was even more spacious and spotless than the photos suggested. We loved the comfortable beds and the peaceful evenings by the sea. The bottle of fizz was a lovely touch. Lovely property, very clean and well presented.

It has everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday by the coast. The train link to Edinburgh is great and St Andrews is also close by.The owners have been amazing at fixing an issue with the WIFI nothing was too much trouble, we would definitely recommend a stay at Seascape. Wonderful accomodation!

Fantastic views - Ideal proximity to train station - Everything provided - lovely welcome. A real home-from-home! Just what you need after long days exploring Edinburgh and the Fife coast!

A wonderfully comfortable accommodation.

The views are fabulous, lovely sunrises and sunsets. The location was great for touring Fife and the East Neuk. Train links were great too. Considering it was the end of October the weather was great too. G & T

Had a little difficulty finding it.

Access from the road is tricky. Needs a little attention to detail for example the some of the doors need better fitting and at least one latch wouldn’t engage. A lock is required to the bathroom door. The waste to the sink was leaking a little but I messaged the owners.. I hope this has been attended to. The toilet roll provision ( one!?) for anyone arriving (say)on a bank holiday Saturday I thought was poor. Overall the property is good with superb views over the Firth of Forth.

A very comfortable cottage with sea views looking across to Edinburgh and up to North Berwick.

The cottage was lovely, loved the view on a clear day.

Handy for a base, as family were nearby. Could do with a hand rail outside as dad struggled with the steps.

We have just had a week at Seascape and it was a fantastic place to base our break in the area.

Despite initial concerns from other feedback it was very easy to find. There is a good parking space outside. The views across the Forth from the property are stunning. We certainly lucked out with the weather last week and were able to sit out on a few evenings after arriving back from our days out. The adjacent pub is quiet and worth visiting for a decent meal. You can hear the trains go by but soon get used to it. The nearby station has direct trains to Edinburgh (via the Forth Bridge), Dundee (via the Tay Bridge) and Perth as well as other local destinations so no need to use the car all the time. Inside, the property is clean and well equipped. The kitchen is modern with a cooker, microwave and dishwasher. The sofa and chairs are comfy and there is a smart TV with Netflix etc.. There is a washing machine in the 2nd bedroom which I guess was the only available space for it. The bathroom has a very good hot shower. The heating was fine when the evenings got cold. All in all a great place to stay in a nice village and would highly recommend it.

Well appointed, with everything provided. Fabulous views of the Firth of Forth. Easy access to shops & restaurants. Comfortable & everything clean. Would love to return sometime.

Beautiful property everything you required.

Lovely coastal walks good fishing off pier. A tad hard to find to begin with, a sign on wall of property would help. Local shops easily reached, try the food in The Ship restaurant excellent and well priced. Take ear plugs if you want to sleep by 5am seagulls have no mute button. Would defo to back.

We found Seascape on Sykes website when looking for somewhere in the area and couldn't have picked a better place.

The property itself was absolutely fabulous with everything required plus the most comfortable bed and softest towels I think we've ever had. The extra bonuses were the closeness of the station which meant it gave me a break from driving and the pub (although this was not open often) We would not hesitate in booking or recommending Seascape, Kinghorn and will more than likely be back in the future

Spent an amazing week at seascape.

Veiws were fantastic especially the morning sunrise. Everything you could possibly need. Would definitely return. Thk you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Fantastic property with amazing views !

The property is extremely clean and well equipped. Attention to detail in the property is exceptional. On arrival there was Prosecco, tea, coffee and biscuits which was a lovely touch. Cannot fault the property or location. Pub next to house does great food and transport to Edinburgh by train is a two minute walk to the station. Would definitely recommend this property for a nice peaceful break.

We had a lovely stay, great views, near the train station , lovely walks and even the weather was great !

The accommodation was very nice & comfortable (except pillows) & everything we needed for our stay.

The coastline was stunning just outside chalet & lots of fabulous walks on coastal path. The only drawback was the loud music from the nearby pub until gone midnight, wouldn't be great if you have young children.

Well presented cottage wth large bedrooms, located close to the beach and local shops.

Pub next door but it was quiet.easy to find great sea views

A lovely, modern cottage in a good location - ideal for exploring coastal towns & villages such as Aberdour, Burntisland, Kinghorn, Kirkcaldy & Dysart.

Good also for longer trips to Hopetoun House, The Japanese Garden at Cowden, Elie & Anstruther. The property would benefit from the addition of shower mat(s), a teapot, and operating instructions for the appliances.

We had a fantastic week in Seascape - really clean with plenty of space.

Great view and very centrally located. Easy to find with the excellent directions given. Parking right outside. Nice and quiet (Easter holidays). Friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely modern, neutral decor. We'd definitely stay again. Only minor issue is there is no washing machine which is a little tricky when staying for a week with 2 kids under 5.

Absolutely Excellent on every level.

Love that it was no pets, and like that I can always choose the ‘no pets option’ with Sykes cottages. The cottage was really comfortable, lovely hot shower, The owners had thought of every thing to make our holiday a happy one. High standard of cleanliness throughout. Appreciated cleaning materials and equipment left for our use, even dishwasher tablets. The sea views were lovely, we could watch the sun rise while sitting gazing out of the window from the lovely sofa. Appreciated the wine left for us.

view out the window. Loads of beaches nearby . Best Chinese takeaway in the world just over the road. Really comfortable stay for my wife and me and my mother in law. Couldn't wish for better!

Lovely well equipped cottage, clean and modern.

We had everything we needed. The cottage is situated in a great position with fantastic views, and the off road private parking right next to the door is a bonus.

This chalet was pristine.

Wine and chocs - a great welcome! Paul, the owner, could not have been more helpful. Seascape's position was ideal for shops and pub, yet situated on the Fife Coastal Path with great views over the Loch.

One of the best Sykes’ properties we’ve had. A great base to look around the area, and we used the train twice to get into the centre of Edinburgh, so easy. Thank you for a great week.

What a lovely cottage had everything you needed could not fault it, clean, comfortable and lovely decorated, would definitely recommend and will go back again in the future.

Great views of the sea and a short walk down some steps to a beautiful beach, pub had great food and views and only a very short walk, same as the Chinese. it was the perfect place to stay, great communication from the owners. So much do around the area and further afield, train a 5 min walk that goes to Edinburgh and that was another great day out. Absolutely loved our stay thank you very much ..

Very nice cottage great view, we had a wonderful holiday and would return to the area again and would use seascape.

What a beautiful cottage.

It was one of sykes nicest properties. Very comfortable, very clean and had everything for a super break. The nearby Pettycur Bay Hotel was used for dinner most nights (just a short drive away) and the last night managed a table at the Ship (it's a must) fabulous. The owner even left a bottle of prosecco and chocolates. How kind Highly recommend

What an exceptional cottage!

We were blown away by both the property and the location, stunning view from the lounge window. Everything you could need for a stay in a cottage is provided. Paul, the owner was there when we arrived, really nice guy who is at the end of the phone if you need to know anything. Harbour view bar close by but not a sound could be heard, even during the Bank Holiday. Great Chinese take away two minutes walk. Train Station five minutes walk with trains to Edinburgh or Dundee, we went to Edinburgh had a great walk round, lovely lunch, shopping for the ladies and a nice beer with lunch with no concern about driving, the view going over the Forth Rail Bridge is stunning. Great road links take you to many interesting locations in Fife, we needed more than the week, so we will definitely be back at Seascape, one of Sykes’ best properties we have stayed in, oh, thanks for the Prosecco and chocs Paul

Spotless cottage and fitted to high standard.

Very practical materials used for flooring/bathroom etc and high level of comfort in beds and sofa. Loved the wall pictures etc, all colour co ordinated. We ate most evening meals in the cottage so only items I missed were a measuring jug and a pyrex type bowl. Thank you very much for a very comfortable stay.

This is a lovely little cottage.

The owners have thought of everything. It’s perfectly located for exploring the fire coast. The town is handy with a shop, chippy and train station on the doorstep. The cottage is immaculate and very comfortable. We will be back! Only tiny issue was the main bed, it’s not kingsize and it’s very hard. If a hard bed is ok for you then you will be fine!

The property is finished to a very high standard, and is located perfectly for town and beach.

Private parking is a big advantage, an excellent base to explore the area from .

Clean, well equipped and cosy wee cottage with lovely views.

Really close to the train station for visits further afield. Only downside was a very noisy water pump.

Top class accomodation prime location and central to shops and the beach all appliances easy to use and parking at the door great for disabled

What a lovely cottage with fabulous sea views.

Spotlessly clean. Good location for coastal and other walks. Also so handy for railway station to get to Edinburgh. Pub very close but not at all noisy and a nice spot to sit and have a drink. Would definitely recommend.

The chalet was very good and the position was perfect for the beach and amenities.

We were within less than a mile of two beaches, and a Loch and a very short drive to Beveridge Park, which was ideal for our family.

Our 4 year old loved our stay and the property so much he didn't want to leave.
