  • "Amazing property, nearest town is 1 mile away Cupar so can be walked."

    It's a great central location in a rural setting, with some fantastics locations for walking, or just a bimble, which are all about a 30 minute drive away. On the plus side most of the parking is free. Over all a great holiday

    Finished to a very high standard, very well equipped, and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever experienced in any holiday accommodation. Use of the garage was an unexpected but welcome bonus as we had bikes with us. Overall, an excellent experience and a peaceful and relaxing week.

  • "We had a brilliant week at the Barn."

    It's so well equipped and comfortable, especially the bed!!!!It's in a lovely central spot within easy driving access of the lovely towns and villages around about. ...plenty of dog walking too. A couple of suggestions though. Instructions for the oven and the coffee machine would be handy as would local emergency phone numbers....doctor, vet, etc. Apart from that it's spot on and we would certainly come back.

  • "A very comfy, cosy, modern and well equipped cottage; I can't think what else could be provided!"

    Remained really cosy despite storm Amy! Situated in a quiet country setting but only five minutes drive from Cupar with good shopping facilities. Perfect for visiting north and south areas of Fife. Once you have entered the cottage via the four steps, it is prefect for anyone with limited mobility - nice big rooms and not cluttered, reduces possible falls!

  • "The Barn was a fantastic find for us."

    A perfect place for what we wanted. The Barn is new and well furnished with everything you may want and I have to say Sky Sports on the tv, what a bonus for me!! The location is at the end of a lane, which provides a quiet and tranquil escape. Great location to visit the gorgeous coastline, 20 minutes away from St Andrews. And a golfing paradise in the area. We will return without doubt.

    Very peaceful. Great walking all around the cottage for us and our wee westie. The cottage had everything we needed. Truly comfortable. Great bed offering a great nights sleep. Although we had a little difficulty gaining entry on arrival, the owner was there in a jiffy to sort the problem. Very impressed with the speedy response. Thank you.

    The bed is very comfortable and the provision of a Nespresso coffee machine and Sky tv was an added bonus. Our black labrador enjoyed the walks available around the adjacent fields The central location is ideally placed to enjoy all of the attractions the East Neuk has to offer.

Cupar is a perfect town for amenities from supermarkets, a garage, local restaurants to a train station. Edinburgh is only one hour away by train, so convenient for the Edinburgh Festival. Enveloped by rolling hills, positioned alongside the babbling River Eden, in the historic county of Fife, is the picturesque town of Cupar. It retains much of its medieval character, including a number of historic buildings; the Hill of Tarvit, an Edwardian mansion is well worth the visit. Owned by the National Trust for Scotland since 1949, the house contains an impressive collection of 18th-century Chippendale and French furniture, as well as Chinese porcelain and lovely Dutch paintings. The Scottish Deer Centre nearby covers over 55 acres of greenery, with 13 species of deer from around the world, Fife's only wolf pack, otters, and other rare Scottish breeds. The park is simply beautiful and makes a superb day out with guided tours, woodland walks, nose-to-nose sessions and birds of prey demonstrations, along with so much more!
