What guests are saying
We really enjoyed our stay at the property, it was homely, spacious and had everything we needed .
The surrounding area is stunning with loads of places to explore for outdoor lovers .
We really enjoyed our week at the cottage.
It was a great size for our family, set in beautiful countryside, and ideally located for everything we wanted to do. The setting and layout worked very well for us. There were, however, a few practical points that made our stay less comfortable than it could have been: + The cottage contained a large number of personal belongings. While this may suit some guests, it left very limited space for our own things. The kitchen cupboards were full, the wardrobe already contained the owners’ items, and there was no free shelf space for our games or other belongings for the week. + The upstairs bathroom had no covering on the window. This made it feel exposed, especially at night. The downstairs bathroom was not overlooked, so it was not an issue there, but upstairs definitely needed a blind or curtain. + There were quite a lot of indoor plants throughout the cottage. Unfortunately, both my wife and daughter suffer from hay fever and are sensitive to indoor plants, so this made certain rooms uncomfortable for them. We wanted to share this feedback constructively, as the cottage has a lot of potential and many lovely features. Addressing these points would make it even more enjoyable for future guests.
We had a fantastic time at Ninevah.
The property was so comfortable and relaxing and was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was lots of space to relax after days full of activities. It is a beautiful location and there is so much to do in the area. We went for walks and runs straight from the property and wild swimming a short scenic drive away. Ben Vorlich was an enjoyable hike with stunning views. The steamer on Loch Katrine was good fun. Local cafes and restaurants were very good. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
