"We had a wonderful stay at Gaer Hall - 10 adults and 5 children - made all the better by the glorious weather!"
Lorrie was very welcoming and was a lovely, helpful host, going out of her way to make sure everything was explained and we had all our needs met. The Hall is rustic, but is extremely well equipped - whatever we needed in the week we could find. Plenty of TV channels (although we didn't use the TVs that much because the weather was great), and Wifi good too. The Hall is in a beautiful setting and we really appreciated the privacy and space. The hot tub was a real favourite, especially with the younger children - they wanted to go in as soon as they were up in the morning :). Plenty of outdoor space to play, and they loved feeding carrots to the horses. We were able to barbeque on the large BBQ and sit by the fire pit late into the night. It was a real stress-buster. The extra, tall fridge for drinks was a welcome bonus in addition to the fridge freezer, especially as it was a very hot week. There is so much to see and enjoy locally and the nearby garden centre is a must with it's maze. We also had a wonderful time at the British Ironwork Centre - what a fabulous day out with something for everyone, over 70 acres to explore and the food is really nice. Barmouth beach is a bit further but well worth a visit. I would recommend this spacious venue if you are looking for somewhere to accommodate a large family gathering where young and old alike can be together and also find quiet space too.
Thank you for your glowing review Annie. I'm so pleased your family had such a wonderful week with us at Gaer Hall Guilsfield Welshpool. I knew Lorrie would look after you extremely well. She always goes the extra mile. We are lucky to have her. Hopefully next time you come to stay I'll be able to meet you all myself. Thank you for choosing to stay with us! Property Owner
