What an absolutely fantastic place.

Everything has been tastefully finished and so well thought out. I really can’t recommend this holiday home enough. Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday.

6 Kirkstyle is a compact and bijou residence set in the heart of Biggar, just off the main street so ideally situated for local amenities.

The property has been renovated to include many modern conveniences whilst retaining some period charm and we particularly appreciated the powerful waterfall shower head with its lashings of instantaneous hot water. Parking wasn't too much of an issue but it should be noted that there was some traffic noise which might potentially detract from a restful stay. That said, we would have no hesitation in recommending 6 Kirkstyle to others and would consider using the property again if we were ever in the same area.

We were attending a wedding at nearby Cornhill Castle.

Beautiful cottage, very clean & comfortable with everything we needed for our short break. Lovely, private backyard with garden furniture to enjoy some outside space. Ideally situated within walking distance to shops, local bars etc. Busy road outside, so obvious noise from passing traffic. Had slight issue with Sykes overcharging on payment, only contact was via WhatsApp & took several attempts at contacting before this was finally sorted. This had no bearing on our view or stay at this cottage which we enjoyed very much & would definitely return. Thank you.

Excellent property- very centrally located.

Very modern and makes absolute best use of space in the property. Very comfortable with everything you need for your break. We would recommend this property.

A beautiful property, well equipped.

I very much enjoyed my stay.

Property is very convenient for the centre of Biggar yet quiet enough; a fine old townhouse, spacious, comfortable and well-maintained. All the instructions were comprehensive and communication was clear and friendly. Some nice extras such as biscuits and a bottle of fizz ( as well as coffee, tea, pepper & salt grinders etc) were welcome.

We had a very enjoyable stay at 6 Kirkstyle.

The house was comfortable and warm. The log fire was a welcome addition in the winter evenings. The location was ideal for all facilities and dog walking .

The cottage is lovely, well maintained and fully furnished with everything that you need, from kitchen to games it’s all there.

Great cottage in a great location.

Immaculately clean with almost all facilities required. Prosecco and biscuits were a pleasant surprise. Our dog loved the park across the road. As we were staying for a wedding nearby an iron and ironing board would have been handy but we look forward to staying again for a longer break in the future.

1 hour drive from Edingbrough and Glasgow. Clyde valley route is a beautiful. Wheel of Fallkirk Nice park to walk the dog just outside the house. Several pubs ( crown inn, great food), restaurants ( taj mahal) and museum at walking distance. Bed and shower perfect!

We had a great time in Kirkstyle Cottage it was comfortable and well equipped and an ideal base for visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow and the surrounding area.

Fantastic cottage.

Really nicely presented with all mod cons. Great location for day trips to Edinburgh. Nice to be close to Scottish Southern Uplands. Very central location to Biggar town - 3 minute walk. We have used Sykes cottages at least twice a year for the last 10 years for different U.K. breaks, this was our nicest cottage yet. Great holiday....

A beautiful cottage, immaculate.

Loved the decor and so cosy having a log burner. Had everything you need. Right in the middle of Biggar with so many lovely shops and a great pub walking distance. Lovely private garden which our doggy loved. The bed was so comfy and had a beautiful bathroom with the best walking shower. Will definitely be back. Live Biggar.

A charming cottage which was immaculately clean and comfortable.

The kitchen appeared to have anything you would need, although we chose not to cook much while we were there. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend this holiday home.

Warm, bright, clean, well equipped. The decor and furnishings were high quality, A 1 minute stroll to lovely local coffee shop for my morning coffee, then some easy accessed walks for the morning dog walk. I would definitely stay here again.

Cosy sunny cottage.

Fantastic location. Well presented and clean. Comfy beds provided for a good night sleep for all.Great shower too. Beautiful original shutters in bedrooms closed out the starry skies of Biggar at night. Chilled prosecco awaiting our arrival was a lovely touch which was appreciated, as where the biscuits, coffee and tea after a long journey. We loved having the option of the wood burner fire to settle around after a lovely day exploring Biggar and its amazing surrounds. Definitely would return.
