Bridle Cottage

Lovely cottage and area.

Very clean overall. Comfortable in living area but very uncomfortable single beds which were more like camp beds. One of them had pull out legs. Could have done with more owner written information I.e. tv, wifi, heating, basic switching on and off, local info. Only info was instruction manuals. Tv had remote for the box but no tv remote which kept going into standby and needed tv remote to get rid of pop up messages. Overall though enjoyed our stay.

Lovely, comfortable and warm upside down house allowing fantastic views of the sea and infront of that a magnificent field with deer, hares, sky larks and curlews amongst other wildlife.

The walk down to the sea and through the tunnel to the beach is unique. A lovely place to be.

Bridle Cottage was in a lovely location.

Thank you to the owner for the much appreciated welcome goodies. Everything was clean and tidy and very comfortable. The view from the window was great, we were able to enjoy watching hares, curlew, quails and deer not to mention on one occasion the dolphins just off shore! Cove harbour is a lovely spot to find after walking through the tunnel in the cliff. We had a great time exploring the locality and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bridle Cottage.

Amazing place to stay.

Beautiful views out to sea. Peaceful, but only a minute from A1. Fun walk down to cove harbour, through little pathways and then a tunnel. The house had everything we needed, and felt like home. Lovely decoration and all utensils you would expect and extra little touches to make everything easier. Lovely welcome gifts on arrival. Only thing I didn't find was a hairdryer. Would definitely stay again!!

Lovely cottage.

Beautifully furnished, well equipped. Gorgeous views over the sea, great walks in the area. It was a peaceful and relaxing stay. I enjoyed listening to the waves crashing on the shore while sat in the garden and watching the sun go down in the evening. I stayed on my own but it’s definitely spacious enough for four, and the two bathrooms are really handy. Highly recommend it.

Bridle cottage is a lovely place to stay.

It is very comfortable and well equipped and the view from the window was amazing. We saw lots of birds and also hares from the window. There are some good walks locally and plenty of interesting places to visit. We had a great stay. Thank you

Beautiful cottage, light and comfortable.

Space converted and used really well. Interesting art works and quality furnishings and accessories. Quirky upside down design made best use of the views. Well located, so long as not needing door step facilities. Would highly recommend

Lovely little upside down cottage with beautiful views across the field to the sea.

Lovely evening spent sat in the garden watching awesome sunsets. The place was ideal for our needs. Well equipped and cosy. Ideal location to investigate the Borders coast and only a stones throw by train to Edinburgh. Weather was perfect which made for lovely evening walks along the coastal path or across the fields to neighbouring Cockburnspath. A great stay.

First impression of the interior, fresh, clean & tidy.

All amenities catered for. The photos do not do it justice, very homely with fantastic views, watching wild hare/deer from the window! Ample parking for one car. Very quiet area, despite a main road being fairly near by. Highly recommend.

the property is fantastic.

very well equipped, very comfy bed (big factor for me as I have a bad back). Very tastefully decorated and the cook books are a great touch. the garden was dog safe and a great spot to enjoy the amazing view.

This is a lovely and cleverly designed cottage in a little farm stealing near Cove.

Lovely sea views from the upstairs living area. Very clean, nicely decorated and very helpful owners should you need them. Easy to walk down to the beach at Cove or Pease Bay. Good village shop in Cockburnspath and farm shop (Mr Neeps) en-route. We had a great time and everything was perfect. We will definitely be back as we have family close by and this is ideal for us.
