The Hay Loft

Highly recommend The Hayloft.

A lovely warm welcome from Linda, lots of local knowledge and she is extremely helpful. The cottage is beautiful, clean with wonderful facilities, the private hot tub a massive bonus. So peaceful and a great place to relax and unwind, will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful place plus the added bonus of the hot tub and the beautiful views, did not disappoint when we arrived.

We were gutted we could only booked 2 nights

We fell in love with this property, its location, layout, furnishings.

The owners had put a lot of thought into renovating these properties, previously a farm. The garden featured patio sets, comfortable seating and even a hot tub plus the beautiful scenery of the surrounding fields. Upstairs was a balcony and we enjoyed a drink watching the sun set. So peaceful and quiet. We can’t wait to visit again.

I enjoyed the layout of the cottage, the living room was lovely, the location, the facilities, the wi-fi and the views over to the fields.

The hot tub was big and relaxing. The bedroom was very inviting. We liked how the kitchen was separate to everything else but practical enough to walk in and out of the garden. I liked the natural surroundings and nature. There was a cute birds above us & every night we watched them fly over to feed the chicks. Plenty of seating area to relax. It was lovely weather too. Lots to do in the area. Enjoyed Ludlow and the castle and Stokesay Castle. I’ll definitely book again.

Just got home from The Hay Loft after 5 nights but we didn't want to leave.

From the loverly greeting from Host Linda itwas all so relaxing and peaceful. Waking up to the sounds of the birds and the lambs in the fields nextdoor. Spotless throughout with a great hottub after a days sightseeing. Perfection, we will be back.

Absolutely brilliant this place is a credit to the owner.

Lovely relaxing few days quiet with lovely views, always try and get somewhere with a hot tub and this ticks all the boxes would highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay at The Hayloft it was a relaxing place to return too after a day out.

We brought bikes with us and enjoyed exploring the area and the hot tub was an excellent way to end the day. Thank you for making us welcome and our stay was a pleasant one. Bev & Graham.

The property was exactly like the pictures The area was extremely peaceful and the owner was very friendly .

Fabulous spot, we had a great week here blessed with lovely weather.

Very comfortable, everything we needed (we brought our own coffee machine, although the Hay Loft does have a cafetière), and sheep and lambs adjacent - what more is needed? Word of advice for future travellers - follow the directions provided, don’t take any satnav shortcuts. The back roads around the place are not good; many deep potholes. My poor car…! But you will love it here. It’s so peaceful and relaxing.

We just needed a last minute few days away in Shropshire and we found the Hayloft.

It was perfect. Peaceful surroundings but within easy reach of everything we needed. The cottage was comfortable and cosy and very well equipped. Highly recommended.

If anyone wants a few days of bliss peace and quiet this is the place to go.

I had the best 3 days in the hay loft and really loved it. There were so many places to visit as well, like ludlow which I went around for a whole day christmas shopping and going around there christmas market. They also have stunning castles around this area. Beautiful walks and amazing views. The hay loft is so close to Wales too if people are going to visit they can do so. The hosts were amazing I got a bottle of processo and it was so lovely after a long drive. I got in the hot tub multiple times and really loved the zen vibes. The only tiny thing that I would add to take it two 9.5 out of 10 is to give quests a few tea bags after a long journey it would give it a little touch that would be lovely . But apart from that this place is amazing if you want a luxurious weekend or week away this is the place. Specially at Christmas as it was so magical. Thank you so much for hosting. I had the most wonderful stay I will be back in the summer as there's so much more to explore. Im going to miss that hot tub

Really cozy place to stay and relax after a long day exploring the local area.

Beautifully decorated, spacious and peaceful. The hot tub is a great addition, especially after a long hike. Owners are lovely and welcoming and the sheep and cats are adorable and friendly. Highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely cottage.

Great host in Linda who was very helpful. Hot tub wonderful.

A great place to stay.

Comfortable and relaxing. The bed was fantastic and a great nights sleep had every day. The Hot Tub is always a bonus and great views over the fields, bat watching at night whilst relaxing in bubbles is a must. Wonderful hosts and a definite must go back for more in the future. If you like walking and exploring, try the The Hay Loft. Great local cafes and pubs too. The Kangaroo pub in Aston on Clun does a brilliant home cooked Sunday lunch cooked by the landlady and very friendly locals. All in all an excellent break.....

Stunning cottage in a peaceful, beautiful location.

Perfect couples escape. Highly recommended.

Beautiful peaceful location, an ideal place to explore Shropshire.

Thank you to Linda who gave us some great recommendations of Powis Castle and Long Mynd. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, getting to relax in the hot tub after some long walks. Highly recommend the Hayloft and its welcoming host.

A beautiful and peaceful property!

We had an amazing stay for an anniversary, the perfect couples retreat! Great facilities and the hot tub was perfect. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

We loved this cottage it had everything you need for self catering and it was spotless.

The location was beautiful and so peaceful. We had a warm welcome from the owner Linda who told us some information about what to do and see which was helpful. The hot tub was nice to come back too after a day out walking. Highly recommended this place just stunning.

A wonderful property so relaxing with great place to sit out .

Everything was of a very high standard and owner was so helpful and friendly

This has got to be one of the best holiday cottages we have ever booked in terms of Comfort , location and cleanliness Linda could not have been more helpful And suggesting days out and places to eat The hot tub was fantastic and really relaxing We will definitely be booking the hay loft again in the near future and would highly recommend

A beautiful, picturesque getaway!

The cottage had a homely touch and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into it. The kitchen had everything we need to cook a full meal and we loved having a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. Sitting on the little balcony on a clear night watching all the stars was so peaceful. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to come back next year!

Absolutely amazing.

It’s so much more lovely than the pics! Came home and booked next door (Meadow Barn) the same day for next month. Can’t wait to go back! Had such a relaxing stay, had everything we needed and Linda was lovely.

What an awesome bolt-hole in the middle of nowhere!

Linda was so nice and the Hay Loft was really well presented! Will definitely want to return.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet area.

Nice welcoming gifts much appreciated. Garden was a real sun trap and great to come back to a hot tub after long walks. Great spot to explore the local area.

The Hay loft is excellently appointed to a very high standard, tastefully furnished and in a beautiful, peaceful location.

We really loved our stay. The views from the balcony are fantastic and very restful. The patio is a suntrap and the hot tub just the icing on the cake.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hayloft!

! The property was beautifully maintained...spotlessly clean and well appointed. It was exactly what we were seeking. Beautifully quiet and peaceful. Loved waking up to nothing but bird song and sheep bleating in the fields next door. I know the landlord can't take credit for the weather, but it was gloriously sunny (didn't see a drop of rain) our entire visit and we came back to Canada with suntans! The hot tub was a welcome extra, and a perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The star gazing was beautiful. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! Thanks, Margaret and David

A wonderful barn conversion set within wonderful views overlooking endless fields of beaming nature.

The Hayloft itself was immaculately presented and perfect for a weekends stay. After a few miles walking over the Long Mynd, only 20mins away, the hot tub was a warm welcome to relax for the evening before retiring to the cosy barn. I’d definitely recommend the Hayloft to anyone and I’m wishing to return for sure one day.

We had a lovely stay at Hayloft over Christmas for 4 nights.

Linda is a lovely host & welcomed us on arrival. Hayloft had lots of lovely touches & was lovely & Christmassy & very cosy so felt like home. The hot tub was amazing & surroundings was so peaceful. Lovely views & lots of walks not far away. Thanks Linda for the wine & goodies you left for us & for making it feel like home.

Such a beautiful cottage and gorgeous scenery.

Linda was extremely helpful and welcoming. We loved everything about our stay and didn't want to leave.

Lovely weekend stay.

Supa quiet rural location couple of miles from Craven Arms. New/modern hot tub that can actually be set to hot (40)..what a joy!! Excellent communication from the host and accommodation as per description...5 star...

Lovely holiday cottage would fully recommend any one to stay.

The views are beautiful,Linda the host is very friendly and there if you need to ask anything. We will definitely be coming again.

Had a really wonderful stay, honestly exceeded expectations!

Beautiful location, cottage and hot tub. Will be recommending to friends and family.

Outstanding location and cottage.

We loved our stay, the hostess, and the views. A wonderful place to stay.

We had a great stay at the Hay Loft, its the second time we've been.

Really comfortable with great views and centrally located to get to other places.

The Hayloft was a really lovely place to stay for a short break.

We had all the essentials needed to make it home from home. There were a few very small details I think would make it an even better stay. The property could do with a radio or music system of some sort, it would of been nice to have some hooks in the bathroom for hanging either the towels or robes, I know there were two on the back of the bedroom door but could do with some in the bathroom. The mattress was very springy, one person moved in the bed and you both moved, for me the mattress could be a little firmer and maybe memory foam, but again this is a personal preference. Overall the Hayloft was a lovely little place to stay, the hot tub was perfect and the backdrop to the garden was beautiful.

The most enjoyable cottage stay, peace and quiet was just what we needed and what we got everything about the property was first class, hot tub was a bonus and watching the red kites each day was another, will definitly be back again so thank you for an enjoyable few days .

Excellent, could not fault it at all

Beautiful stay in a beautiful part of the country.

Host was warm and welcoming. All we could have wished for, except for a cover over the hot tub and a pub within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the hay loft every thing was like hope from the host was friendly and helpful with places to see and eat would stay again

we had a brilliant time we couldn't fault it at all

Beautiful place so relaxing and cozy.

Would definitely return . Excellent facilities and just a lovely place to relax and recharge.

The HayLoft is a beautiful hidden gem!

So glad we found this last minute. The Juliet balcony was lovely to sit on all wrapped up whilst having a drink watching the sun go down. The hot tub was a bonus - best one we have been in. (You're left dressing gowns for the hot tub too which is great for these winter months) The hayloft is well equipped however as stated it is a self catering cottage like most are so expect to have to bring stuff such as coffee, sugar, foil, cooking oil etc. Linda let us know the day before depature that the next guests were arriving the day after so we did not have to rush to leave which was nice of her. She really is a fab host! Overall we had the most amazing stay and will definitely be back! If you're looking for somewhere to eat try razas Indian take away we loved it! And the kangaroo inn pub just 28 minute walk away very cosy. Craven arms town is a 6minute drive. Plenty of walks to do without having a car / plenty of walks to do with a car.

The hay loft is a beautiful cottage it has everything you need and more for a relaxing holiday .

All the little extra touches provided by the lovely host Linda . Thank you for a memorable week we spent at your place over Christmas hope to see you in the near future love Linda - Steve

I am so happy I found the Hayloft online when booking a short UK trip away.

A beautiful little barn conversion in the heart of Shropshire. Cosy, comfortable and very homely. The hot tub was an extra bonus to top it all off. Linda was on hand if we needed anything. Thank you again, I hope to visit again in the future

Absolutely lovely place to stay, definitely recommend, perfect for a few days.

Bed and sofas were very comfy, shower was good, kitchen near enough had what you needed. Hot tub was lovely, views are amazing and it’s very quiet and peaceful. Only criticisms I have are there were a few cobwebs and bugs in corners of rooms and stairs when we arrived, no hand soap provided in the bathroom or kitchen (which I’ve never seen before) and no pepper or oil provided for cooking. Apart from these minor setbacks, its a great place to stay!

What a gem!

The property was just perfect, well equipped and of a very high standard. Thank you for making us welcome!

The hayloft is a beautiful cottage very clean ,comfortable and cozy Linda is a very friendly host and made us very welcome location extremely quiet and peaceful and the views are wonderful it was lovely having our breakfast outside watching the sheep and the hot tub was amazing after a day of tramping around the Shropshire hills thankyou linda for lending us your lovely cottage

Fantastic little gem of a Cottage, one of the best we have stayed in!

Linda was a perfect host, always available if we needed her and nothing was too much trouble! Hot Tub was an added bonus with lovely views cross Shropshire! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will absolutely be returning at some point in the future.

The price was excellent for such a well-equipped property.

The host was accessible and approachable and our rating reflects the level of satisfaction on all fronts. The property build was excellent and it was tastefully decorated. Everything worked! We appreciated the hot tub and the attractive landscaping and the unexpected additions added a sense of joy to our holiday. The beautiful location was perfect for the exploration of such an interesting county.

A great host and an absolutely Stunning apartment.

The hot tube was wonderful and a fantastic view

We had a lovely weekend break at the hayloft.

Nice and quiet location, lovely views and an even better home to unwind in. Everything you need is available in the property. Hot tub is a nice added bonus. We will definitely recommend to people and would happily come back again.

A wonderful little barn conversation set in the countryside with glorious views, spotlessly clean with everything you need with a very knowledgable and friendly owner who knows the area well.

Simply Excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hay Loft.

The host was very welcoming and the place had everything we needed. The hot tub is also a nice touch. We would definitely recommend.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the Hayloft!

The host Linda was lovely and really made us feel welcome. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic property brilliant hosts a gem of a place

We had another lovely stay at the Hayloft, as usual we had a warm welcome from Linda, the place was lovely decorated for Christmas which is always a nice touch, we appreciated the chocolates and Prosecco on our welcome, the cottage as everything you need, and is a real home from home, with the addition now of the electric hot tub instead of the old wood fired hot tub you can now just jump in anytime you want, especially after a day out walking or exploring the surrounding areas of Shropshire, we would recommend this property to anyone.

Exceeded all expectations!

Such a beautiful cottage that has been done up with so much thought and care. Perfect location and stunning scenery. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in after a day of exploring. Linda was so welcoming and we very much appreciated the flowers and bottle of wine!

Lovely property in peaceful countryside surroundings.

Enjoyed the gentle bleating of the sheep and rural views from the lounge. The hot tub was superb, set at a perfect 37°C it was wonderfully relaxing and a real treat to sip wine and stargaze! Linda, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. Many thanks for the wine and flowers. One small suggestion is for there to be a small carton of milk on arrival.

Such a lot of thought has been put into The Hay Loft.

The attention to detail was second to none, and the standard of accommodation was spot on. The property was fully equipped and immaculately clean. The hot tub was a superb feature which we throughly enjoy. We’d most definitely recommend and we will be back.

The Hay Loft was a lovely little find,it was clean and tidy with everything you could need for a short break away, the hot tub was always on and ready to use.

Would definitely like to return sometime and recommend to anyone.

Definitely recommend!

Gorgeous property and friendly host. Property really is stunning and had all the facilities that you need.

Lovely cottage and setting.

Friendly welcome from Linda. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place and of course the hot tub. Great base for visiting local attractions

Absolutely lovely hidden gem.

We came for a week and we Absolutely loved our stay and going home relaxed amd happy. So peaceful and quite and very welcoming and lovely hosts who made us feel at home here straight away. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable with spectacular breathtaking views and had everything we needed. It was lovely watching the sun set. Everything was so clean and tidy. We visited stokesay castle and done some lovely walks in carding Hill valley. We really enjoyed the super relaxing hot tub with outstanding views and loved watching sheep. So adorable. Thank you for letting us stay Linda. We would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage to our family amd friends and will definitely come back. All the best for the future.

Very comfortable and peaceful place to stay.

Linda, our host, was very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely hot tub, but with water shortages and fuel costs I asked not to have it filled up, although Linda was happy to do so if we wanted. Thank you Linda.

This was wonderfull accomodation with everything spotless and a well equipped property.

Lots of places to visit in the area - Stokesay Castle, Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre as well as places further afield - Attingham Park. Tuffins Supermarket in Craven arms has everything required for self catering. The Hot Tub is excellent especially for aches and pains!. Thank you Linda for an excellent property, we will definatley recommend it.

Fabulous cosy cottages with all necessary facilities with the added bonus of a hot tub.

Great location and lovely host. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

A beautiful property set in such a relaxing part of the countryside.

This place has it all, it’s peaceful and surrounded by fields and panoramic views. We loved our stay here. This place has everything you need including the hot tub which was the perfect way to relax after a day in the hills. The elevated balcony was a great late night wine area. Thank you for providing such a wonderful property.

Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings, all you could hear was birds and sheep.

The Hayloft was as described and the owner very helpful, lovely lady. Would highly recommend.

The Hayloft was a lovely place to stay, fantastic views and peaceful surroundings.

It was well equipped, clean and kept well. Linda was very welcoming friendly and helpful, she even left us a bottle of Prosecco on arrival, which was a nice touch. The private garden and hot tub made our stay for us. We were looking for a quiet getaway to relax and rejuvenate and the Hayloft delivered. We will definitely be returning in the future.

A really well designed and furnished holiday home, with gorgeous views as well as privacy.

Thank you again Linda.

What can I say WOW absolutely beautiful place, everything you need for a relaxing stay , all you can hear is the birds and sheep

Wonderfull cottage and host Super location Perfect country retreat.

Wow what can we say!

The hayloft was the best and was amazing and peaceful! Linda was an amazing host and was there when we needed her. We stayed for 4 nights and we didn’t want to leave:( It was effortlessly beautiful; along with the cutest lambs on the field opposite us in the spectacular hot tub! I would recommend if you want that perfect getaway to relax and take in how precious life is! Thanks to Linda and the Hayloft! We will sure be back, hopefully sooner than we think! 5/5 for everything!!!!

We had a fantastic time staying in the Hay Loft!

The place was really clean, cosy and comfortable and watching the lambs spring around outside was an extra bonus! Stargazing in the hot tub was really special. The perfect base from which to explore lots of fascinating places (would thoroughly recommend the walk through the hills to Stokesay castle). Some great pubs around but also a very well-equipped kitchen for cosy nights in. Thank you for such a brilliant stay!

Had a wonderful stay at the Hayloft.

Very cosy, comfortable and peaceful. Stargazing in the hot tub was pretty special! Would definitely recommend and return. Had a lovely day out in Ludlow which is about 20 mins away.

Very nice and relaxing retreat!

Just returned after a lovely country break in an immaculate cosy well furnished cottage.

The added bonus of the Juliet balcony and the wood fired tub made it perfect for my birthday break!

This was our 3rd visit to the Hayloft, we love stopping at this delightful cottage, you have everything and more to have a lovely stay wether it’s for a couple of nights or weeks, it’s ideal for visiting the various areas of Shropshire, and so peaceful when you get back from your day out, and also having the hot tub makes it ideal to soak your weary limbs after a day out walking, or for just a nice time to relax.

Linda and Charlie are perfect hosts, they are friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them if you need help with anything. We highly recommend the Hayloft and will definitely go back again.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing stay at the Hayloft.

It was homely and cozy and had everything we needed. The hottub is a lovely bonus. Linda is a great host, she went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. She was so friendly and welcoming. We would definitely reccomend staying here and would like to return again in the future.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful location and a very welcoming and helpful host.

The Hayloft is absolutely beatiful, very cosy and has everything you may need during your stay; the hot tub is just great.

The owner is kind and helpful. The surrounding area is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend

This was without doubt one of the loveliest places we could have wished for.

It is the perfect country retreat, so warming and cosy, and so clean that Anthea Turner would have been impressed. Linda & Charlie are very attentive and have filled the place with love. I would recommend the Hayloft to everyone.

Lovely cozy environment would definitely recommend & stay again

We had a really lovely week in the Shropshire countryside at the Hayloft.

The cottage was Immaculate, very warm and comfortable and had everything we could need. Linda made sure we were well looked after and we made good use of the hot tub every day. It is also well situated, secluded and quiet with great views but also reasonably close to many local areas of interest. Absolutely ideal to get away for a week of relaxation in a home away from home 5*.

We are so pleased we chose the Hayloft for our holiday in Shropshire.

It was immaculate, warm and cosy and had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay, so much attention to detail. We particularly loved the Hot tub which Linda kindly lit for us everyday, such a relaxing way to spend the evening after a days sightseeing. We would love to return again soon and highly recommend it for a wonderful break in stunning countryside.

We had a fantastic stay and The Hay Loft is perfectly placed for getting out and about around Shropshire.

Linda is a terrific host and lit the hot tub everyday for us.

The Hayloft was a fantastic place to stay and Linda, the host, was extremely welcoming and helpful.

The accommodation was beautiful inside, had wonderful views, and contained everything that we needed. Would thoroughly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hayloft.

It is well situated to explore this lovely area of the country and the property itself goes above expectations. Linda is very welcoming and the Hayloft has everything you need for a holiday let. Also there are lots of other thoughtful extras. Examples being dressing gowns for after the hot tub, extras in the bathroom, enough storage and it did feel homely quickly. LInda warmed the tub up for us twice ready for our return after a day out and there was even a bottle of fizz on our arrival. The hot tub is a really lovely way to relax after a day walking or exploring. I would be very happy to stay here again if I had the opportunity.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and practical.

Situated in a great location, close to many places of interest. The hot tub made the experience even more enjoyable. The hostess was very helpful and friendly and left for us a very nice welcome pack.

What a fabulous find in the heart of rural Shropshire.

Linda was very accommodating in our week stay. The Hayloft was a fabulous place to stay, very comfortable and so peaceful and quiet, except for the sheep in the next field, lol. The position was quite central to Ludlow and various other towns of interest, also a stones throw from the welsh border. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay, oh and the hot tub was a massive bonus to my wife. We will definitely go back. John & Steph

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay in the hay loft, we had everything we needed plus more.

Linda was very helpful, lighting the hot tub for us while we where out, we would definitely go back, the hayloft is in the perfect position to visit all the beautiful spots in Shropshire.

Peaceful, great views and everything you need for a relaxing stay.

A perfect place and thank you Linda for the welcome tipple. Top visiting highlights include the British Ironwork Centre, Shrewsbury river walk and Church Stretton (Ragleth Gallery has some lovely artwork pieces) and Carding Mill Valley (National Trust) has numerous walks.

Generally excellent.

The cottage was lovely and hot tub was excellent. Linda, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Dishwasher didn't really work and the farm in which the cottage was situated had a dilapidated barn which we overlooked. Apart from those minor things, we loved it.

We had an amazing 3 night stay for my partners 40th.

Linda is a lovely host and the Hayloft was spacious, well equipped, clean and in the perfect location. It was a much needed trip away after the last year. Hot tub was lovely and we enjoyed watching the sheep and pheasants. We are looking forward to returning next year as so much to see in the area.

Fantastic cottage in a great location, the host Linda couldn’t have been more helpful and had dressed the property for Christmas with decorations which was a lovely added touch.

The interior is very tastefully decorated and the kitchen has everything you would need and spacious, enabling us to have a Christmas dinner. Hot tub was perfect and again Linda was very helpful, even getting it started for us while we were out walking etc. Hope to go back again some time this year.

The Hay Loft is perfect!

Linda was an excellent host and even lit the hot tub for us each afternoon so it was hot in time for us to relax in after spending the day out exploring. She even provided us with a bottle of Prosecco and some chocolates as a welcome surprise The place has everything you could need for a weekend or week-long stay with an excellent kitchen, lovely living room area to relax in and a very comfy bed - the highlight was the brilliant hot tub, perfect for stargazing if you're there on a clear night. Location wise it's just a short 20 minute drive (or hour long cycle) for walking on the Long Mynd near Church Stretton or visiting the castle at Ludlow. We can't wait to come back :)

Perfect getaway for a couple, layout of the conversion was really good and nicely furnished and Hot tub was great once up to temperature!

The host was very helpful!

Superb apartment and nothing was too much for Linda would highly recommend for anyone wanting a couples weekend away

We have stayed at the hay loft twice now, and loved it.

It’s in a lovely location with plenty of walking right on the doorstep of the Shropshire way and many other footpaths. Near town, within walking distance probably around 30 mins. 5 mins in car. Close to Ludlow which is a lovely town with independent shops and gallery’s and the castle. Absolutely love it. We’ll definitely be back again

Lovely little break away, Linda the owner was very welcoming and accommodating to whatever we needed.

Views around the property are amazing and the cottage was comfortable and extremely clean. Will hope to return next year.

Fabulous find.

Quirky little hayloft full of character. Comfortable and clean. Perfect for a peaceful weekend enjoying good food from the local pubs near Ludlow and lazy evenings in the hot tub watching the bats and listening to the owls. Linda, the host, was lovely and ensured the tub was lit and ready to go even if we weren’t around. Would definitely recommend.

Simply idyllic.

.the images showing the property did not disappoint on arrival. The facilities the quality of the accommodation and the views where lovely, and Lynda was the perfect hostess. Would recommend this as a great getaway from it all location.

Truly wonderful break.

Super relaxing so quiet. If you want some peace with the stars this is the place for you. Linda has this set up just right and is always there if you need anything without being intrusive. A very quiet part of the country - normally would explore local walking routes but didn't as we were so comfortable in The Hay Loft. Plenty of wood for the hot tub and my partner loved playing with fire!

Amazing stay at the Hay Loft!

Beautiful cottage and location, Linda was lovely and the wine was a nice touch. Hot Tub was gorgeous and was just the Relaxing break we needed. Would definitely recommend!

This little cottage is absolutely first class.

We were made so welcome on arrival by Linda and the cottage was exceptional. It was finished to a very high standard and very well equipped and so comfortable. The hot tub was an extra bonus which we enjoyed to the full. The surroundings are so peaceful and quiet and made a wonderfully relaxing four night break.

Loved every second of our anniversary weekend, So thank you.

Had an amazing 3 nights at the Hay Loft, the cottage was spotless and so comfortable.

Linda was an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful when we needed more wood to get the hot tub fire started. The location is beautiful, so peaceful and full of wildlife including red kites which were amazing to watch! Couldn’t recommend this cottage enough and we’d love to return in the future.

The owner of the cottage, Linda, was so lovely and accommodating.

She couldn’t have been more helpful and always made sure we had enough wood for the hot tub and even picked us up from the train station. On arrival we had a lovely homemade cake and bottle of Prosecco waiting for us, this was a lovely touch. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had the most relaxing trip. The cottage itself was lovely, had everything we needed in it and was very comfortable! We will definitely be returning!

Had a lovely break, however, the hot tub facility was fire powered and was an inconvenience to heat up (took 3 hours).

This was a real shame and put a dampener on the holiday as we didn’t get to use it once for this reason, especially as I paid that extra amount for the hot tub usage. If it was stated more clear in the description then I would’ve chose another holiday home! Secondly, there was not enough fire wood available to use the hot tub, this was a real disappointment as we intended to use it later on in the evening, when we eventually tried to heat it up, there was not enough wood and it was too late at that point to notify our hosts as we didn’t want to disturb them. This made it more frustrating as we never got to use it the other nights and eventually when we tried to on our last night, there was not enough wood provided :/ Overall the place was nice and id recommend it for a relaxing break away, but the hot tub was a real shame.

Everything and more you could expect with this property, especially the owners Linda and Charles, we have stayed here twice now, we always get a warm welcome and nothing is to much trouble if you should need anything.

The property itself is in a lovely location, peaceful and quite, it’s central for visiting a lot of the attractions the beautiful Shropshire area as to offer. I would recommend this property to anybody wanting a quite getaway.

The Hay Loft is a beautiful holiday cottage in a stunning setting – you really feel that you're in the middle of the countryside.

The hot tub is great and, however cold it may be outside, you immediately warm up again once you get back inside, as the cottage is so well-insulated. Linda is the perfect host - very friendly and helpful.

Cottage excellent, nicely furnished.

comfortable, warm, everything we could wish for - but the addition of a radio would be great. I know you can get radio reception on the TV but it's nice to have a radio in the kitchen too! Anyway, the lack of a radio made only a small difference to the overall enjoyment we experienced.

Linda and Charlie were very welcoming and very thoughtful myself and my wife went to have a couple of days away for anniversary here.

Very beautiful setting very quiet. Will definitely booking again next year. We even had a card, cakes and a bottle of wine to celebrate.

Cottage was lovely but lacked some utensils in the kitchen to use in the microwave, e.

g. bowls etc. It would have been nice to have some basic provisions like tea, coffee and milk provided on arrival.

Beautiful cottage with beautiful surroundings, linda was very welcoming and gave us some useful info along with delicious baked cakes we would recommend to anyone thinking about staying here we would love to come back 5*

The Hay Loft is an ideal place for a relaxing get away!

Ideally located for Visits to Ludlow, Ironbridge and surrounding areas, this tastefully decorated cottage will not disappoint!

The location shown on the Sykes map is not correct.

On Google maps the property is shown as Shropshire Glamping. The directions assume you are coming from Craven Arms. We were arriving from the opposite direction and could not find the property. A call to the owner sorted it but it would benefit from an update. The location was ideal for us to explore Shropshire being central to a range of National Trust properties and superb countryside. The Hayloft was lovely with goldfinches, red kites, hares and rabbits all around. Cannot think of anything that could be improved on for a couple.

The building work going on in the connected barn was absolutely no problem whatever.

The builder ( only one man incidently ) came over and apologised just in case but on the days that he was around it was only from 9am until 4pm - mostly whilst we were out. The service from the owner was exceptional, with a cake and wine to greet us opon arrival.

The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed from a home away from home.

The owner was lovely and met us on arrival to show us round and discuss when we would like the hot tub set up. The location is peaceful and relaxing and watching the sheep in the field next to be cottage was lovely. A short drive away is Ludlow which was a lovely town to wander, explore the castle and have afternoon tea. Church Stretton has some lovely walks and Shrewsbury was lovely to visit on our way home. A lovely long weekend had and would recommend for anyone to stay and use Hayloft as there base for the area.

A great facility, everything we needed, lovely views and a very friendly landlady

Beautifullly thought out cottage.

Absolutely top of my list. Lovely surrounding, stunning countryside.

The stay at Hay Loft was amazing and we really enjoyed our little break away.

Thank you to Linda for accommodating us at such short notice too. The property was beautiful and decorated to the highest standard. The hot tub when we got there was a lovely suprise as we werent expecting that!! Linda also provided us with robes which was lovely touch. Lovely, peaceful area to stay. Diolch/Thanks

Because of my wife's mobility problems she had trouble with the stairs but this could have been our mistake if we didn't read the details correctly.

Other than that we would gladly go back as it is a beautiful area to explore with lots to see and do. Mr A Dawson.

Excellent cottage for total peace and relaxation, everything in the cottage was well placed, and we'll thought out.

..would recommend a stay here.

Hosts are exceptional in their ability to make you welcome

It was a lovely relaxing break in a gorgeous cottage.

It was so homely and decorated beautifully and there was lots of activities to do around the local area.

Me and my partner had a lovely Christmas at the Hay Loft.

Linda was very accommodating and the facilities were above and beyond the advertised expectations. We would definitely stay there again.

A lovely welcome on arrival, with home baked cake and a bottle of wine.

Accomodation was spot on for a restful break. Excellent base for exploring both the Shropshire Hills and mid Wales - the Elan Valley was particularly scenic - of course, sunshine helped!

A great barn conversion, ideal for a really peaceful break in a quiet location.

Very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The owners were friendly and happily offered advice about the area and places to visit. Would certainly stay here again if I return to Shropshire.

FANTASTIC!

!! Stayed 29/6/2018 - 06/07/2018 and loved it. Owners are very accommodating and friendly, facilities were excellent. Have booked again for next year and can't wait to come back. Would recommend to anyone to book up here for a relaxing stay in a lovely environment.

This cottage has been beautifully converted from a Barn and lacks for nothing.

Work is in hand to complete the outside sitting area with fence and planting. The owners, Linda and Charlie, were excellent hosts and welcomed us with wine, a homemade cake and flowers from the garden. The location is idyllic with a wonderful dawn chorus and plenty of sheep to keep the birds company. The two resident ducks on the duckpond were fun to watch as they strutted around together. It was a lovely area and the nearest small town, Craven Arms, had a wonderful independent Supermarket called Tuffins, which sold just about everything under the sun!

It was a delightful property , the owner was lovely and friendly .

The weather ad been awful but it was great to come back to in the evening . The only downside being that it was a little remote but there was a great community shop nearby .

Perfect holiday - everything was as described.

A new renovation that was beautifully done. Decoration was done very well - we wanted for nothing. We spent a very relaxing week although the weather was poor for the whole week we didn't seem to mind. Kitchen well equipped - lovely welcome by the host Linda and a homemade cake and wine for our arrival. We were left alone to our own devices which suited us but knowing that we could always call upon her if needed. Shower was lovely - the whole cottage was very cosy. Lots of plans for further renovations so we wish them all the very best as I'm sure they will reap the benefits once people pass on their recommendations.

This is a new development so everything is new , the kitchen diner was very spacious and well laid out , the bed was very comfortable and big .

the shower was good .the lounge area had 2 settees and a large TV with freeview . outside is still under development but I am sure it will be very nice when finished , maybe somewhere to sit out when its nice
