Loved our stay at the Coach House, such a beautiful setting.
Jill was very helpful with directions, and there’s lots of parking! Really comfortable accommodation with a well equipped kitchen but no need to cook with the two great pubs on your doorstep! Would recommend for enjoying the Shropshire hills.
We had a lovely stay at the Coach House, a perfect location for a few days walking in the Shropshire Hills.
The cottage had almost everything we needed to cater for ourselves. The one niggle we had was that the saucepan/frying pan set is somewhat past its best, losing the non-stick coating (not healthy), and indeed at least two pans had remnants of burnt-on food which rendered them unusable. A couple of other kitchen items had been put away dirty (I suspect this was more a problem of careless guests rather than poor maintenance or cleaning).
Property is in a perfect location- 2 pubs nearby- a 40 minute stroll to the train station and 15 mins on the train to shrewsbury.
Loads of walks nearby. It is well maintained and has everything you need. The host couldn't have been more helpful- she sorted a couple of questions out really quickly. Well recommended for 2 people for a quiet getaway
