We enjoyed our stay at the very well named Kwerky cottage it’s worth nothing how rural this place is though of you like to be near hustle and bustle this is not the place there is a nice little community run shop open each day but it’s a good 30 mins away from any significant shop.
The kitchen was missing a few things to make the stay even better but we added to it so hopefully helps out the next set of people. One think we didn’t like was the lack of lock on the door to the property since it’s a shared hallway it felt like a potential lack of privacy but this is an easy fix., overall we enjoyed our 4 days and would recommend it for anyone wanting a nice quiet stay. The sauna is a lovely feature which we used on my husbands birthday.
We loved our stay in Kwerky Cottage and hope to return.
Our host was very helpful and pleasant. The garden is wonderful, we really enjoyed sitting out both in the sun and in the shaded pergola. A seat/bench at the bottom of the garden would be ideal so you could admire the sweeping views. We used the upstairs bedroom as we thought the short flight of stairs between the downstairs bedroom and bathroom would be too steep to negotiate during the night, for younger people this probably wouldn't be an issue. The bedrooms and bathrooms themselves were immaculate, we didn't use the sauna but were impressed it was available. A hook on the bathroom door would be great, just to hang up your dressing gown and a few coat hangers. Altogether, one of the nicest places we've stayed. Thank you.
Had a lovely stay at Kwerky cottage, lots of little extras and goodies left for us.
Loved the quietness also the wonderful showers. Beautiful garden. A wonderful village. Take a walk into Bishops Castle and try the food at the 3 Tuns ,we'll work the walk
