A very comfortable stay thankyou.
Everything was beautifully clean and amenities as listed. A few extra items would be useful. Lounge. Side tables with coasters. Bedrooms. Bedside lamps for in the night bathroom visits.
From the web site and google it seemed Walton was a lot nearer to the Apple Tree Pub.
- but it wasnt !! that needs sorting asap. we liked the place - but it was let down by a lack of care with the cleaning, a lack of inspection after guests have vacated ! we had to wash up any cutlery or china ware before we could use it!! , The above is annoying, because it let down an otherwise lovely place to stay with the facilities also onsite.
Disappointing,not up to SYKES usual standards No coffee pot, no hairdryer, we had to ask for them Only four pillows for four people No mirror in one bedroom Towels thin,one so thin it had holes Towel ring by sink hanging loose, unusable Toilet roll fell off the wall Toilet seats in both en-suites were loose Most concerning was a lack of any kind of bedside lighting in one room which meant turn of the light by the door and finding your way to bed SAFELY with your mobile phone light
