"A beautifully presented holiday home."
Very attractive and comfortable.
Our only suggestions would be more hooks in the bathroom and a casserole dish for the oven as we liked to cook 'at home'
Thank you, Kate, for your lovely review and for your kind comments about the property. We’re so pleased you found it beautiful, comfortable and well presented.
We appreciate your suggestions. The bathroom is equipped with a towel hook and also benefits large towel radiator for additional storage. We’ve taken your feedback on board, and have will add a casserole dish for future guests.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back again!

"What a lovely property, a home away from home."
Excellently kept and the welcome gifts adding to an already welcoming property.
We came here with 2 young children (9 and 6) and it was perfect for them and fulfilled their excitement of being at the “holiday house”.
Would highly recommend the property and the surrounding area, in particular the country park nearby.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re delighted you and your family had such a wonderful stay and that the children enjoyed their “holiday house” experience. It was a pleasure to host you, and we’d love to welcome you back again!

"We had a wonderful stay at Y Bwthyn."
When we arrived we were taken aback as to how immaculate, modern and welcoming the accommodation was. The photos show the accommodation well but it was even better in person. The owners were very responsive and friendly to any queries we had. We found the garden and living space really open and spacious and we felt relaxed and enjoyed our time. The area itself is stunning and we would recommend visiting the Burry Port, the beach at Pembrey Country Park, Gower, Tenby and the Mumbles, all within ten minutes to an hours trip. Thank you. We would definitely stay again.
Stevie, thankyou so much for staying at Y Bwthyn. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and found other the cottage and garden welcoming, spacious and immaculate. We’re pleased you enjoyed exploring the beautiful local area and some of the fantastic places and beaches nearby. It was a pleasure having you, and we’d love to welcome you back again in the future!

"We’ve just spent 9 glorious days/nights at Y Bwthyn."
We found the accommodation to be light, airy and surprisingly spacious. Our party consisted of 3 adults and one teenager. We absolutely loved having TV’s in both of the bedrooms.
Just being able to relax
in private with a film after a day of exploring was bliss then, when we wanted, we could come together and spend time together cooking , watching tv and playing card games in the living room. We also appreciated the washing machine, dishwasher and full size fridge.
If we could politely make a couple of suggestions: an inside clothing airer for drying clothes on cooler /rainy days, hooks on the back of the doors to keep personal towels and to be able to air them, a couple of wooden spoons and a family cooking pot (with a lid) for cooking big family meals like chilli/curry/spaghetti bolognaise and blinds on the bi-fold doors for privacy especially when coming out of the bathroom after a shower and in the evening when you want it to feel private and cosy. All in all we had a fantastic holiday exploring the area. Thank you ☺️
Nina, Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear that you had such a fantastic stay at Y Bwthyn and that the space, facilities and layout worked so well for your family.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share your suggestions. We’ve already ordered blinds for the bi-fold doors and are just waiting for a suitable vacant period to get them installed. We completely agree that they will add some extra privacy and make the space even more cosy, particularly in the evenings and as we head into winter.
We’re so pleased you enjoyed exploring the area and would be delighted to welcome you back to Y Bwthyn in the future. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us!

"We have reluctantly just finished our holiday at this wonderful accommodation."
The photos didn't do it justice and the delightful welcome gifts really made arrival day. The discovery of the thoughtful puzzles and outdoor games kept both adults and children busy between busy days out. The cottage is well equipped with everything you may need, we found the bed soft but I think that's personal preference and our only suggestion would be to think about blinds for the bifold doors to help with keeping the room cool and for privacy should there be people accessing for maintenance.
The cottage is perfectly placed for beach days, trips to Tenby, lovely restaurants and many other experiences. Huge shout out to Surf Pembrey who taught our boys to surf.
We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed every minute of it, and couldn't have wished for better accommodation. Thank you

It’s great to hear that the location was perfect for your beach days and trips to Tenby, and we’re especially pleased the boys enjoyed their surfing with Surf Pembrey!
Thank you also for your suggestion regarding blinds for the bifold doors. We really appreciate the feedback and will certainly look into this.

The cottage is in an immaculate condition with great facilities - our girls loved being able to run about in the garden. Craig and Bethan were responsive in any communication we had with them and you could tell a lot of love has gone into making the cottage a home from home. Would highly recommend!

"The original cottage has been extended into a modern, well organised and comfortable accommodation, which is easy to maintain."
The kitchen provides everything needed to prepare simple meals and along with some very acceptable goodies, tea and coffee pods are also provided. The bifolding doors leading out onto a patio and well designed garden proved to be a haven in the current hot weather.
On-site parking is restricted to one small car and there is some road noise which does calm down at night. The owner was very helpful sorting out minor issues when reeded
Irene & Tony , thanks for choosing y bwthyn and thank-you for your lovely review and 5-star rating. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the cottage and garden. Just to mention, while the driveway is suitable for one car, additional parking is available on the street. Thank you for staying with us and being great guests, we hope to welcome you back again soon!

"We had a 6-night stay here with my partner and toddler."
On walking in, the pictures did not do it justice.
It's so much nicer in real life, and it was clean and spacious.
The garden was well-maintained and great to relax in after a busy day.
The cottage itself is beautiful and has a lovely vibe.
We were presented on our first day with a lovely card welcoming us and a bottle of Prosecco and Welsh cakes.
It comes with everything you need, from the kitchen to relaxing in the lounge area, and the area itself is quiet.
We could walk into the town with no issues, which has a beach and a few shops. It's a perfect base for days out to Tenby, Mumbles, the country park, and Folly Farm.
Craig, the host, is lovely and came out if we needed to and had a lovely chat with him.
My toddler absolutely loved staying here and we had an amazing stay which felt like home from home.
We hope to return again and thank you to Craig and Bethan for making our stay so comfortable.
Chantelle, It was a pleasure welcoming you, your partner and your little one to the cottage.
