Littlemoor Cottage

Everything was fine at Littlemoor cottage and we enjoyed our stay generally it was in the perfect surroundings for us to visit the sights we wanted to see, maybe we expected too much but after an arduous drive 4.

5 hours and numerous traffic name on the motorways, all we wanted to do was get a meal cooked and have a glass of wine however this did not happen, we opened the oven to see what pans there were these were brown and had burnt on cheese on two of them, all you could smell was grease the oven door was brown and the inside of the oven very greasy along with the cooking tins, we spent best part of 90 minutes getting the Oven and the area clean enough to use and one scrubbing sponge later, we did not attempt cleaning the grill pan as this would have took us another hour and that is in the state we arrived and found it, if you had to put this on something on the side otherwise without something under it, it would have left Mark's everywhere we arrived at three and it was around seven when we are able to eat and despite our efforts cleaning when we opened the oven door it set the smoke alarm off, we did not expect all this on arrival and it spoiled our opinion of the place which was tidy otherwise sounds like a real gripe but the oven was filthy and clearly had not been checked at all.

My partner and I wanted a romantic little stay close to Cheddar.

This place was perfect. It was cosy and romantic, plus it had a wood burning fire. The instructions were very clear and the cottage was well equipped. It was a very comfortable stay with Cheddar Gorge a short drive away and a little further Wells and Bath. It was quiet and private and ideal for a romantic getaway. There was also a little hamper on arrival which was very much appreciated. As mentioned by numerous people, the spiral staircase is not for all. But with a little care taken it's not a problem as long as you have no mobility problems. Thanks for a lovely stay. I'm certain we'll return.

Littlemoor Cottage is very good and the listing is accurate.

Its clean, well maintained and situated for local sites. The kitchen is equipped with pretty much every need, could do with a wooden spoon. The stairs are not for the faint hearted and the only thing that let it down was the broadband which was totally atrocious. If you are looking to stream anything on the tv prepare for a very long evening while it constantly keeps loading. We tried to watch a film that took an extra hour because of this. I would recommend Littlemoor Cottage to anyone, its a lovely place to stay

Lovely cottage in a central location for lots of things to do.

The cottage was clean and the dacilities were really good. The privacy of the cottage is really good and it's in a quiet residential area Pubs are local, no more than 15 mins walk and the locals are friendly. We really enjoyed put stay

I think littlemoor cottage was one of the best equipped places we have stayed in, immaculate and clean with everything provided for, great location to explore the surrounding areas, will be looking to return.

Lovely cottage set in very quite cul du sac.

Everything was clean and comfortable even managed to sit outside in oct sun. Nice hamper on arrival which is always a nice touch. Perfect location for exploring Somerset.

A really place to stay.

The cottage is lovely and clean with everything you need for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Its central for visiting citys close by like wells and also seaside towns like Minhead and historic towns like Glastonbury.

Lovely property, very high standard conversion and spotlessly clean.

Decor and furniture was really nice. Secure parking area behind high wooden gates was especially good as we had bikes with us. Little hamper on arrival was well received. Bed was very comfortable.

Great stay and great property, we really enjoyed it.

Everything was great, from the welcoming gift, to the cleanliness, to the responsiveness when we asked questions. Minor comment to further improve the property would be the mattress of the bed: we had back pain when waking up the mornings.

An extremely stylish, comfortable and well equipped holiday cottage.

It was a brilliant base to explore every aspect of Somerset. We had such a brilliant holiday! Would highly recommend.

Lovely place, in a perfect setting.

Very clean, they also have a washing machine and provide some essentials for your stay. They even have a little welcome hamper for you which is lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was lovely, modern and relaxing and well located near lots of interesting places including Bath, Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge. The owners also left us a lovely hamper of goodies when we arrived. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you

Had a wonderful stay over Christmas the owners were extremely helpful and were impressed with the personal touches and great location.

Only one minor thing could do with a mirror in the bedroom.
