  • "We had a fantastic time, the bed was very comfortable."

    The water pressure and temperature in the shower was great. All utensils that we would need were provided. The pod was clean, well maintained and had an absolutely fantastic view. We especially enjoyed the log burner and hot tub! The honestly shop had a great selection all very reasonably priced and the food was delicious. We would absolutely recommend staying here! 5 stars

  • "This was the perfect weekend getaway, it feels like you are in your own little world."

    Everything was so easy and it was a great location to be able to drive into cheddar. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset over the beautiful view of fields on fields with sheep and their lambs playing was perfect.

  • "We had the best visit at lime kiln, the owners even decorated for a birthday at our request which made the stay really special."

    All the facilities within the cabin were perfect for the time spent and perfect for 2 people. The only feedback I’d say is the notes to finding the place and the cottage were a little confusing. We found just searching “Warren Farm” on maps took us straight there. Thank you so much for our stay, and we hope to return again soon. :)

  • "Had a peaceful stay at Lime Kiln on Warren Farm."

    Lovely scenery from a cosy cabin not too far from activities and walks - if you want to get active. Everything needed, provided along with a cute hot tub for two. Simple attached shower room, only issue was hot water wasn’t always available but help was at hand to fix this. Would definitely recommend for couples and families as larger cabins are also available with lots of green space and farm animals for children to enjoy!

    However we couldn’t get the hot water to work in the shower but that didn’t ruin our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Lime Kiln & Dew Pond Pods

Blagdon 2.5 miles. These two, purpose-built pods enjoy a rural position on a working farm, just a few miles from the village of Blagdon. Well-presented with woodburning stoves and integrated shower facilities, these quaint little homes are perfect for couples looking to escape everyday life and explore the great outdoors of Somerset. Boasting a compact yet meticulous studio layout, the pods are immaculately presented and include well-equipped kitchens for when you’re not out sampling the local cuisine. Both pods benefit from their own private decking with a picnic bench, so you can relax with a favourite drink in hand and marvel at uninterrupted countryside views, while there is also a communal outdoor space which is ideal for groups booking together. The closest amenities lies in the village of Blagdon, a welcoming spot home to a couple of pubs, shops and a café. For a day of adventure, hop in the car and take the scenic drive to Wookey Hole, home to stunning caves, a museum and other attractions for the whole family. Spend a day at Cheddar Gorge, exploring the fascinating caves and using skills in the escape rooms on site, while the Mendip Hills AONB is where you can delight in amazing vistas across the lakes of the Chew Valley. For a slight change of scenery, the cities of Bristol and Bath are easily accessible and boast striking architecture plus a whole host of attractions and shopping facilities. These delightful pods provide a wonderful base for couples, all year round.

Blagdon is a friendly village and civil parish in the northern part of the Mendip Hills AONB. Boasting no less than 17 listed buildings as well as a 15th century church, it holds much interest. In terms of amenities, it offers two pubs, two convenience stores and a café. To the northeast of the village there is the Blagdon Lake where you can fish, also nearby are the Organic Gardens and a Yeo Valley dairy with a café. The Mendip Hills abounds in scenic walking and cycling country to make the most of. In the surrounding area there is certainly something to suit every taste including a traditional day at the seaside with Weston-super-Mare just 12 miles away, the striking cities of Bristol and Bath are also close by and are more than worth a look around as they display magnificent architecture as well as a vast array of first-class amenities and activities to keep you occupied during your visit.
