Manor Cottage

Really lovely stay at Manor Cottage, which is a beautiful property.

Very clean, welcoming and certainly somewhere we would enjoy staying at again. Only criticism would be, the sofas in the lounge area were not comfy so it was difficult to relax in the evenings.

Very much enjoyed stay at this former C16th church property.

It retains much of original features but well equipped for holiday stay. Plenty of space indoors and out; enclosed, secure large garden. Modern kitchen and bathrooms. Parking excellent. Quiet location. TV & broadband good. Much to do and see: historic houses, gardens, sites of interest, coast, best kept historic villages and market towns. Food and drink establishments are local and outstanding.

Beautiful cottage and surroundings.

Loved the historic features in the property. Kitchen well equipped and cottage was absolutely immaculate. Only downfall we have is that the main bedroom mattress was really uncomfortable and only given one pillow each, woke up with a bad back for the rest of the week. Due to the size of the living room I would recommend larger sofas and maybe some bean bags for the children for movie nights. I would definitely recommend this cottage but change the mattress in the main bedroom

Lovely house.

Some modern touches but still has that old cottage feel. Really loved it. Great to sit outside and it doesn't matter if it's hot or raining as there is cover and plenty of room inside and out. WiFi is excellent.

Lovely house and gardens in idyllic setting.

Very well presented and comfortable. Loads of lovely little villages all around. Also, not far from the coast and within easy range of larger towns and cities such as Wells and Sherborne. The dog was also made to feel welcome and loved the secure outside space. Tim, Maxine and Otto

Marvelous and spacious cottage with lots of authentic details.

As of the first moment we fell in love with it. Ideally located just outside Ilminster with all necessary amenities and on the border of Somerset en Dorset with lots of attractions to visit. But even a day not away is no punishment with a nice garden and convenient canopy during our sunny stay. The owner has a sincere interest in your well-being and welcomes feedback. Definitely a place worth staying and returning.

The quietest property I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in, with lovely, helpful hosts.

The views over the churchyard opposite were beautiful too.

A beautiful historical property renovated to a high standard.

Large secure garden which our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed. Tea/coffee/sugar and fresh milk was welcomed after a long drive. Excellent communication and instructions from the owners. Would recommend and revisit.

Our stay at Manor Cottage was wonderful.

Really lovely spacious place, very clean and tidy, and of a very high standard. Quiet location with shopping and supermarkets very close by. The south coast is only 30 minutes away and there is a selection of National Trust properties close by.

Lovely property with every thing you need for an enjoyable stay.

Garden was perfect especially for the dog . Location was great.
