  • "Nempnett Farmhouse is absolutely beautiful and we could not have wished for a better place to celebrate my special birthday with family."

The fresh milk and muffins were delicious and the extra touches like the birthday banner and the bottle of bubbly and lovely message just added to a perfect weekend. The house is so well equipped, the beds amazingly comfortable and the living room and dining room were perfect. The kitchen has everything you could need too. The highlight for my grandsons was the hot tub and games room. We have enjoyed a wonderful weekend together - many thanks indeed.

  • "Very comfortable, clean and well equipped."

We were 8 adults but there was plenty of room. Personally I would have liked an en suite but with 3 bathrooms we were able to cope very well

  • "5* accommodation for everything."

Excellent communications. Loved the Farmhouse and really hope to return maybe at Christmas New Year or Easter. Thank you for the cakes birthday banner milk etc. Sweets on towels were a treat. Baby items were very useful too especially the stairgates which are now being resourced by toddlers parents. Wished we could have stayed longer than the weekend but wortk calls for most of the family. Thank you again Meg and family x

  • "We would highly recommend Nempnett Farmhouse!"

It's the perfect get away, in a beautiful area. On arrival we were greeted with a personal message and delicious muffins. We explored the local area using the maps provided, found the pub which was recommend by Meg, relaxed in the hot tub & garden, cooked in the well equipped kitchen, ate plenty of food in the spacious dining room, played games in lounge, and slept well in the comfortable beds! Everything was perfect, thank you!

  • "The most comfortable and spacious house we have stayed in so far."

Great WiFi and bandwidth for 8 users, the hot tub was a highlight and much used. The owner left a personal message and cupcakes, which were much appreciated and was always available to answer any queries. Beautiful situation in easy reach of many days out. Recommend visiting Wake the Tiger, We the Curious (explore science in a fun way) and Wookey Hole, amongst many days out.. Every one from 92 to 7 months had a brilliant time. Best recycling facilities in any holiday property so far and best games room.

  • "We were celebrating a couple birthdays, it was an amazing house and we had the best time."

Inside and out side seating that we could all sit together (9 of us) and beautiful walks nearby around the lake. Great Pub for dinner (too hilly to walk but great view when you're there) Thanks so much.

  • "This is a wonderful place to stay with a lot of character and charm."

The house is spacious, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, and a large sitting room and kitchen. The garden is well laid out, very secure, with a climbing frame and a slide for children. There were fourteen of us including six toddlers (all aged under four) and it was a real pleasure to spend time in both the house and garden. Meg went great lengths to make us feel at home, with home made cakes, milk in the fridge, and a welcome message on the blackboard. She was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The farmhouse is set in beautiful countryside but within reach of the coast and towns like Glastonbury and Wells. It is an excellent place to stay and we thoroughly recommend it.

It was massive and fitted all 12 of us with ease. The hot tub and games room were an added bonus. Honestly 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for some time away from the hustle and bustle. Meg was lovely and accommodating and even went to the trouble of some thoughtful little touches, such as bunting and some delicious homemade cake!!

We stayed as a family of 12 including 4 children. The house itself had everything you needed with every fine detail thought out by the owners. When we arrives there was a lovely welcome notice with recommendations of local to dos. And an eater egg hunt for the children. Well presented and lovely and clean. Highly recommend Nempnett Farmhouse. Thank you so much!

  • "The house was amazing and we had a great time."

There is one thing that wasn't great is that the house is in the middle of nowhere and you cannot walk anywhere, you would always need a car to go anywhere. The roads were very narrow .

Modern, clean and well appointed for adults and children. House was perfect for a large family getaway. Hot tub and games room were a fantastic bonus, even on a cold winter evening. Will certainly be recommending to friends and family and hope to return soon!

  • "Absolutely fabulous property and owners."

Owners couldn't have been kinder, more communicative and welcoming. The house is amazing - all the mod cons and comforts but in a traditional farmhouse, we all loved our time at Nempnett and really didn't want to leave. Location was ideal, 20 minutes in to Bristol but super quiet in it's own right. We checked to see if the house was available for Xmas and were so disappointed to find it was all booked up. Thank you to the Fords for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful house.

  • "What a beautiful home, property was alot more spacious that we thought."

We were a family of 12 with a 2 month old baby. Everyone had a great weekend, lovely country walks, hot tub, and outdoor games rooms. The host Meg was excellent on communication and recommendations. We would definitely book again in the future

  • "We are so so happy to have found this property."

It was absolutely huge & beautifully furnished & decorated. Each of the 3 bathrooms had gorgeous fittings/fixtures & all the bedrooms were spacious with the most comfortable of beds. Best sleep I’ve had in quite some time. The jacuzzi was huge & amazing set in an enclosed private garden area which was brilliant for the dogs (the garden not the jacuzzi I hasten to add) The entire property was spotlessly clean with everything you would need for a holiday away. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay & in fact we’ve only just arrived home & had to get writing a well deserved review. What we found thoughtful was the little finishing touches that the owners had thought of. For instance chocolates on our towels in each of our bedrooms; fresh milk in the fridge and home made cakes to welcome us. Not forgetting the huge home grown pumpkin for the children to carve out to celebrate Halloween

  • "A wonderful farmhouse, beautifully decorated, with everything an extended family could need."

7 adults, 3 children (8, 7 & 3) and 1 medium dog, enjoyed a great holiday together here. The garden is fully enclosed so your furry friend is safe. A huge plus for us. The hot tub was great, and the patio and garden are ideal for the kids to play and adults to relax. The farmhouse itself is just perfect. Lots of space. A really practical, beautiful bespoke oak kitchen with everything you could need. The lounge is large with an enormous inglenook fireplace housing the log burner and plenty of seating. Beautiful deep pile carpet that our girly girl daughter said was divine. All of the bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of storage, and the beds are really large or super large and very comfortable. Mattresses on the the firmer side, which suited us perfectly. The bathrooms are spacious and have fab showers with great pressure. The children couldn't get over the space. The single thing we all absolutely loved was enjoying family meals in the dining room together at the lovely dining table. Our 8 year old granddaughter said that's what she loved the most about the whole week. The games room was well used too. There was nothing we didn't like. Everything spotlessly clean. It is in a rural location, so be prepared for some narrow lanes with passing places. We had 2 x 7 seaters and a saloon car and didn't have any problems. Plenty of parking. Dog walking along lanes and footpaths. Ordnance Survey maps free trial was useful. Easy enough to get to Bristol, Weston-Super-mare, Brean Sands. Would highly recommend Tynings Trekking for horse riding, and we had a wonderful day out at Noahs Ark Farm and Zoo. Well worth the money. Would highly recommend Nempnett. Owners live nearby, but completely unobtrusive. We also ordered a Tesco delivery for the evening of our arrival which worked perfectly well.

  • "Nempnett Farmhouse was extremely clean and very comfortable."

The beds were large and very comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe and draw space. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking, eating and drinking utensils and there was plenty of room for storage of food. The hot tub and garden were very nice with plenty of room for the kids to run around. The games room had a pool table, table tennis and darts. We had a lovely time in a very quiet area. The owners were very nice and very helpful. The age range was between 6 and 72

  • "We had the most amazing stay at Nempnett Farmhouse."

We went for a short break with the family, and it is a great size for accommodating large family get togethers. It has only recently been finished but I can honestly say it has been done extremely well, certainly the best we have ever stayed in. They have thought of everything and you could easily rustle up anything in the kitchen. The beds and bedding were wonderful, it was spotlessly clean and the garden totally enclosed. Hot tub was amazing and lots of games to borrow. The owners were very helpful if needed. Many thanks for a great stay :)
