  • "We had a really enjoyable stay here."

The property is generously sized and comfortably accommodated our group of nine, along with two small dogs. One of the first things you notice when you walk in is the arcade games, which were a brilliant addition and something we ended up using every day. The air hockey table in the living room was another big hit, particularly with the teenagers in our group. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, and we really appreciated the lovely selection of welcome food items that had been left for us. Outside, there is a good-sized garden with a hot tub, which we thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. The house has lots of character, with each bedroom featuring striking artwork inspired by Greek gods. It gives the property a fun and distinctive feel and makes it a little different from your typical holiday rental. Having a toilet on every floor was also extremely useful, particularly for anyone who might find stairs difficult. The location worked really well for us too. Glastonbury is only around a 10-minute drive away and has a great selection of restaurants, cafés and places to explore. There were just a few things that could be improved. The two bedrooms on the top floor don't have blinds on the Velux windows, so they become very light early in the morning – blackout blinds would make a big difference. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the top-floor bathroom throughout our stay, which would be worth investigating. We also experienced a power cut that affected the living room and Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the fuse box was inside a locked cupboard, and it took a couple of hours to obtain the access code so that we could reset it. Leaving the code somewhere accessible for guests would make situations like this much easier to resolve. Overall, though, these were relatively small issues in what was a very enjoyable stay. It's a spacious, characterful and well-equipped property with plenty to keep a large group entertained. We would happily recommend it, particularly for families or groups looking for somewhere fun and a little different close to Glastonbury.

  • "Lovley big house."

Hot tub was great but large steps up to back garden. Very clean and welcome gifts very much appreciated. Everything you could want for a lovley weekend away with family or friends. The only downside for me was no wardrobes in the entire place not ever a hook to hang your coat!!! Ok if you like living out your suitcase! Unfortunately shower leaked through ceiling on the Sunday, but we were able to contact the property managers easily, to be told 'thought that had been fixed!' I think i would go again if there were some wardrobes and the shower was fixed thats why I gave 4 stars and not 5 stars

  • "Amazing large property, comfortable for a group of 12."

Arcade room, TV in each room and large kitchen and garden were lovely. The Hot Tub also was amazing! Only small issues were lack of wardrobes and mirrors. The listing was slightly incorrect that there is no pool table and table tennis. But not an issue as plenty to enjoy in the property.
