We enjoyed our stay at The Pound in Porlock.

The house was clean and comfortable and conveniently located to the shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also dog friendly with an enclosed secure garden. We loved being able to access great walks straight from the house. The only minor niggles were the small amount of crockery and a lot of it not microwave safe. The parking is an issue when offloading and packing up at the end. During the week was fine as we paid for a week’s stay in a nearby car park. On the whole we had a great time there and would stay again if in Porlock.

Lovely house, my elderly Mother-in-Law loved it.

Well equipped (although could benefit from some USB sockets). Comfortable throughout.

We find The Pound to be a very comfortable and clean home from home in a great location in Porlock.

There is plenty of equipment in the kitchen if you want to cook, and the courtyard garden is a pretty suntrap. We have stayed there several times and are looking forward to another stay as soon as we can.
