The property was clean and bright, well equipped and comfortable and very convenient, barely a 5 minute walk to the town centre.

The main drawback is there is only parking for one car, covered in the property description, but parking for a second car is difficult, the church car park was mostly full (only takes 7-8 cars, but is free) and when we did leave a car the there it was deliberately scratched. The yard is small and not really suitable for children. Accepting the two drawbacks it didn't affect us enjoying our stay there.

Very nice cottage, well maintained.

However, with a small teracce without much lighting opportunities and very limited parking space (no transporter or larger van...)

We had a wonderful time in Dorset, and Overton Cottage was a real highlight of our holiday.

It is a beautiful cottage, full of charm and character, with plenty of space and everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The information we received before our stay, along with the helpful guide provided at the cottage was excellent. It gave us some great ideas for places to visit and things to do, helping us make the most of our five nights in Dorset. The cottage itself was full of warmth and character and made our stay feel very special. My family and I would absolutely love to return one day and would highly recommend Overton Cottage to anyone looking for a charming and spacious base in Dorset. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
