  • "We had a brilliant stay."

The welcome packs were a lovely touch. We loved the luxury of the hot tub and watching the sun set from it. Everything was clean, fresh and smelt amazing! Excellent dining recommendations by the hosts; The Fox for Sunday lunch was delicious, The Lamb and Flag serve a great dinner and West Farm for lunch was both delicious and had amazing views from the cliff tops. The walk down to the beach is beautiful and the huge rocks to climb on were a hit with my 5 year old. We didn’t feel the need to travel any further afield, just spent our time relaxing and slowing the pace down. I fully recommend the property and we will definitely be back.

Spotlessly clean and the owner had provided so much at the property for comfort! Bath robes for every person for use in the hot tub was an unexpected touch. Dog treats and a lovely bottle of prosceco for us on arrival. The house was well equipped and couldn't really have beaten tue view - stunning.

Thank you for your comment Kate. Our cleaning job is always made so much easier when families like yourself leave the house so tidy...much appreciated, especially during the current heatwave!! x Property Owner

  • "The cottage felt like a 'home away from home'."

Very comfortable and generously stocked- plenty of cutlery, plates etc. Cupboard of sauces, drawer of cling films etc. Beautiful location with lovely views over the bay. Steep walk down to the beach but once there the coastal path allows for stunning walks! Also there's a lovely coffee van on the beach (and clean toilets). Hot tub was hot....bath robes fluffy...presseco bubbly! We had great stay.

Thank you for a lovely comment Helen - we are glad you felt so at home and enjoyed everything the local area had to offer xx Property Owner

The view was beautiful. Having a coffee first thing to a Prosecco in the evening it just couldn't be beaten. We loved Ogmore by the sea and it is definitely a place we would return too, we normally never go to the same place again but this is somewhere we would be happy to stay again. The comfort and delights of Ty Glas are a must and we would definitely recommend this beautiful house for a relaxing holiday! We were blessed with a week of gorgeous weather and enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Thankyou for a lovely holiday Lorna & Steve Blakeman STAFFORD. UK

  • "We had a great week in this lovely cottage."

The position is excellent, situated in a quiet village, with well stocked village shop, but close to good beaches and coastal walks. It was very easy to get around other locations in South Wales, including visiting Cardiff on the train, and there is no shortage of visitor attractions. The house is very clean, comfortable and well equipped, with two bathrooms and a downstairs loo. Views of the sea from the back of the property were lovely. We found it really relaxing and rated it one of the best cottages we’ve stayed in. Great to have our own parking space, too

Wow Anne - thank you for such a nice review. We are glad you had such an enjoyable stay and thank you for being so informative about the local area for future guests who may wish to stay at Tŷ Glas. Property Owner

We had very useful instructions for how to operate things, plenty of utensils and resources and a lovely host. Accidentally disabled the wifi but Emma came to help fix it for us! Overall just a lovely time.

The owners were helpful, attentive and had thought of everything. This was a relaxing week away with the hot tub and chilled out time, also the beach being so close was ideal and great for dog walking. Great locations for local attractions, sightseeing and Cardiff and Swansea/Gower area. We all loved our week there and will definitely go back and would recommend it.

  • "Ty Glas is very professionally run by it's owners and they have decorated it very thoughtfully and provided many useful things in the cottage."

The welcome pack was very generous with treats for the adults, kids and the dogs! The sea views from the garden and kitchen are stunning. We enjoyed using the hot tub and it was nice to meet the owner when she popped around mid week to check the chemicals in hot tub. The garden was very secure which was important to us because of the dogs and although there was some building work going on next door the neighbour was very friendly and it didn't really impact on our holiday.

Thank you Freya for your comment. We try really hard to add small touches to make your holiday that extra bit special so I'm glad to hear they were enjoyed. It was lovely to meet you and some of your family (especially your dogs) when I popped up and it would be lovely to have you back if you have anymore events in the area xx Property Owner
