The Loft At Nordrach Lodge

Had a lovely short break in this charming cottage.

Had everything we needed. Super comfy beds. The milk and biscuits were much appreciated. Very convenient for our day visit to the Cheddar Gorge and caves and close to Wells

Excellent accommodation for exploring Wells Cheddar Glastonbury Wookey Hole magical area good food& drinks at pubs around the area very comfortable beds Loft well equipped we had a wonderful week highly recommend

The loft was in a good location with easy access to Bath and Wells and very close to the top of the Cheddar Gorge.

It was very warm during the heatwave, but the road was a little noisy so we couldn’t have the windows open to improve ventilation. Perhaps a fan may be of benefit. A little maintenance is required as the shower leaks and we couldn’t get the heated towel rail or the cooker hood to work. We still enjoyed are stay and really liked the area.

Cozy little holiday apartment in the middle of trees - beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay. Water pressure very good, high quality mattresses and a quick heating. Very good base for a stay in Somerset.

Fabulous walks straight from the door

Tricky to find at first, but we were given good directions from the host.

Apartment had everything you needed for a comfy stay. Short journey to get to Bath, Wells, Cheddar and Wookey Hole.

Nice location .

Close to Cheddar gorge and Wells for shops and with a little travel time Bath .Bristol and if you like the sea .Weston super mare But could do with a couple of slight changes . Brighter lights in dining area . And a bigger shower head . Plus on the stairs which are metal . Some form of anti slip paint or brush matting .

A lovely welcome when we first arrived .

The property was exactly as advertised, you felt at home as soon as you walked through the door. Wished we could have stayed longer so will be making a return visit later in the year. Parking was easy, and sitting on the balcony when the sun was out was so relaxing after a busy day sightseeing . Everything advertised online was exactly how we found the property. A very happy experience .

Super cozy & warm atmosphere inside.

Lots of coffee, tea and sugar already there. Liked the welcome Biscuits. Very clean and tidy. Easy to adjust heating controls. Excellent hot and cold running water. Excellent beds, bedding & towels. Somewhat limited range of pots & saucepans. Could do with bigger pots for one pot cooking !!! Cooker could do with an upgrade, though worked fine. But overall very high standard of interior A few small maintenance issues. Fx Sensor Lights for the stairs were not working & need replacing. This would be good for the winter months. ! Exterior stair landing outside entrance door pools water. Could do with drain holes. However we totally loved our stay there and will definitely come back another time. Love Chris & Helle

Many thanks for a great week's stay- we've really enjoyed the use of the Loft - it is warm and comfortable and a great base from which to explore the locality.

The shower, hot water, heating and underfloor heating in the bathroom were user-friendly, plus the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. The secure off-road parking was much appreciated.

Our stay at The Loft At Nordrach Lodge was great.

The loft had everything we needed for a self catering holiday, the packet of biscuits left on arrival was a lovely touch. It was in a great location for exploring the surrounding areas, some beautiful walks nearby. The place was clean and tidy, and they had thoughtfully got out the high chair and put up the travel cot for us before arrival which was very helpful. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have used and we all slept fantastically. Check in and out was easy with the key box and the message before arrival with detailed directions (so the sat nav didn’t send us to the wrong place) was very useful. We would definitely return to the property again if we are visiting the area.

The location was perfect for our needs.

Unfortunately on arrival we were disappointed in not only the lack of garden maintenance, long grass etc and the outside of the Loft! Once inside it was very comfortable ,clean and had everything we required and would revisit. Unfortunately early every morning we were woken with the very loud sound of birds on the roof.The scratching sound was apparently birds getting under solar panels at the rear!!!Thus definitely needs rectifying.

Difficult to find.

The property was nice and clean inside outside needed more a attention.

A great location with walks from the door. We had everything we required provided and found the bed extremely comfortable. Would love to stay again.

Great base for exploring Somerset.

Nice local walks. Well stocked kitchen. Some thoughtful accessories for our dog. Warm and cosy property. Friendly, helpful host.

Cottage was clean,cosy and comfortable. Well equipped with all you may need. Great location, close to Bath, Cheddar and Bristol. Lovely woods walks around. Highly recommend this lovely place.
