We had a lovely, relaxing stay. Lots to do in the area within a reasonable drive and a great place to take the dog. We'd happily return to the cottage and to the area. Really helpful pre-arrival info from the hosts, who were quick to assist when required but not at all intrusive.
Had a very comfortable stay in Weathervane Cottage.
It being January we didn’t expect good weather but it rained for seven days - however this did not ruin our week. We wanted a stop and flop week and this we got. Suzanne and Duncan have thought of everything to ensure a good stay. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. The woodburner ensured we were cosy and being able to purchase logs on site was a real bonus. Twistgates Farm Cottages sit in a beautiful rural setting and I would recommend them for a quiet yet not isolated stay for you and your pooch.
