We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Ruth and Andrew are truly lovely hosts and always attentive to their guests' well-being. The apartment is very clean and comfortable; everything we needed was provided. The property is beautiful, and the house is ideally located as a base for excursions by car. Thank you so much, Ruth and Andrew!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Henry, our Fox Red Labrador particularly enjoyed the freedom of the paddock, Andy and Ruth were both very friendly and welcoming.

Ideally situated for beach and forest walks with our dog, supermarkets close by. The property itself was very well maintained and we would definitely recommend it.

The property is as described.

Everything was very clean and the owners were on hand and very helpful. A very comfortable property with everything one might need. The pebbled garden at the front with garden furniture has the sun all day and there is a field with small orchard which belongs to the owners is ideal for walking the dogs without wandering too far. The Beer Shack is about a 5 minute walk from the cottage and has a good selection of ciders and ales at very cheap prices (£3.50/pint) and a food stall selling burger and chip for £7 as well as pizzas and hot dogs. Also, Rich's Cider Farm and the Watchfield Inn are 5 minutes walk bothe of which sre good for food and drink. The Sunday Roast at Rich's Cider Farm was very good and far too big! There is plenty of parking as the drive area is quite substantial. Would definitely visit again.

Only criticism, the two sofas are very low and at our age difficult to get up from. Otherwise perfect.

Teal cottage was lovely just one small problem the sofa's were very low down finding it very difficult to get up out of them when you are disabled with MS

My health has not been good for some time owners were very helpful and under standing and very helpful in every way I had a nice stay under difficult situation with my self and I'm now feeling more positive in moving forward in my life thank you .

Excellent cottage, very clean, comfy and all the mod cons.

Great location, just off the M5, quiet and peaceful. Handy for Cheddar, Glastonbury and the coast and not too far to go to visit Devon or even Cornwall. Our dog, Ted, enjoyed it too, with a great big field right in front to run around in. We really loved it and would highly recommend. Hosts were wonderful too. 5 stars.

A lovely peaceful week.

A great cottage lovely and tidy and clean. Hopefully we will return for further holidays, although I did have a problem accessing my booking with The Sykes holiday site did not show my bookings but did contact owners and all was clarified.

The property was spotless and uncluttered.

Perfect for us. We had to remove a skiddy mat which was clearly a danger on the slippy floor and the bin bags were a poor fit in the cheapo bin but that was all that bothered us. Our little terrier had problems walking on the sharp gravel and hurt her paws a few times.

BRILLIANT AS USUAL, LOVELY AND QUIET BUT WITHIN EASY REACH OF SO MANY PLACES, WILL BE BACK AGAIN.

Mostly very good just a few little things and it would be perfect as we are elderly the shower over the bath needed a grab handle on the wall plus some hooks to hang clothes on also everywhere we have been we took an hairdryer only to find there was one this time we didn’t and there wasn’t one not complaining just a few suggestions

It is a very minor point.

But some of the kitchen utensils need upgrading. The bottle opener for example is difficult to use. Wish I had packed my Swiss Army pen knife! It is a cheaply made item. Of more importance.... The bottom sheet on the bed on our stay was worn, uncomfortable and long overdue for replacement with a new one. Considering the premium price charged I think you need to up your game ..

Plenty of off road parking.Handy field in front of property for the dog.Bed slightly short but my partner is 6'4 so probably alright for average height person! Would definitely return if visiting that area again.

A great stay at New Fox Farm Cottages!

Perfect location for excursions and a very comfortable stay for us and our four legged friend. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again for a longer visit!

We loved staying in Teal cottage.

It was clean comfortable and had everything we needed, The property is close to Cheddar, which is a place we love so we went there one day. Also there is a pub within walking distance which was very handy. I would have preferred a walk in shower rather than a shower over a bath, but that is just me. Some people would be happy with a bath.

Had a really lovely couple of days at Teal cottage regret not booking for longer.

Very peaceful and whilst there are three cottages on the site you felt like you were the only ones there, with a very private feel to them. Tastefully decorated with everything you require for a short stay. A very cosy cottage. Whilst we never met the owners Andy and Ruth in person they were exceptionally helpful in terms of keys and my questions about pets. If you are thinking about staying here do, I doubt you will regret it.

Overall a lovely place to stay and convenient for the places we wanted to visit.

Ruth and Andrew were very friendly and helpful. We feel that during a 7 day stay we should have been offered a change of towels, otherwise altogether very pleasant.

A fantastic bungalow to stay in.

Very clean and tidy. Very well equipped with everything you may need during your stay, including a washing machine. The bungalow is set in a quiet, peaceful area. Would highly recommend.

The owners are lovely people very friendly and go out of there way to help. They really look after their property's has everything you need to feel like your at home.

HAD A LOVELY RELAXING STAY WITH MY COLLIE, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

VERY QUIET, VERY CLEAN AND I SLEPT LIKE A LOG. VERY WELL EQUIPPED, PLENTY OF PARKING AND ONLY A SHORT DRIVE TO THE BEACH/BURNHAM ETC WILL DEFINATELY BOOK AGAIN PS MIGHT HAVE LEFT MY T CLOTH BEHIND AND BOUGHT YOURS BACK IN THE WASHING SORRY.

We enjoyed our week at Teal with our dog Peppa.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we found the location excellent for visiting nearby beaches and Cheddar Gorge, we particularly enjoyed walking around Cheddar reservoir.

We had another enjoyable stay at Teal Cottage.

The cottage was clean and well equipped and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. This is our 2nd stay at this property and we are more than likely to return. Highly recommend.

Lovely place!

Clean, well presented and in a lovely spot. Liked it all being on one floor. We had a lovely stay, thank you. I didn't get chance to share this with the owner but I have some mobility issues with my hands and I struggled with turning the taps fully off and opening the key box as a result Very hard to find off the main road especially at night though!

Very little contact with owners, on arrival we told the cottage was open.

We weren't shown to the property as expected, overall we were very disappointed with our hosts we left without any contact with them. Very disappointed.

It was clean Comfortable and so peaceful, was great for our dog jessie to run and be happy and it was safe for any dog, home from home , the owners Andrew and Ruth were wonderful and very helpful, we will definitely be going back in the near future, a great place to go

Teal was a very comfortable, clean and welcoming accommodation.

Very central for all attractions around Somerset. I would highly recommend to any couples and their pet holidaying in the area. My only gripe would be that the fridge could not have been turned on much before we got there as it took until the next day to cool anything, but this is understandable in the current economic climate

Absolutely fantastic.

Spent 2 weeks here. The bungalow was very clean and tidy. Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. Large bathroom and bedroom. Would highly recommend

The owners were very friendly & it’s a good base to go out & explore. Very safe if you have a dog with you. Property could do with a mirror in the bedroom that would be my only recommendation. Thank you for a good stay.

This was an ideal holiday cottage for the two of us and our dog, Molly, who was made most welcome.

The owners of the property were very kind and helpful. The property is in a quiet location away from the road and is ideally situated for days out to the Somerset coast, Glastonbury, Wells and Cheddar. Would thoroughly recommend.

It is a lovely place to stay.

The field is great for dogs and kids. Inside the kitchen could do with a shelf on the wall by the microwave as there is not a lot of space to put things like spices, cereals etc. otherwise ok. The cold tap was leaking a bit if you did not turn off hard. Apart from the weather we had a lovely quiet time.

The bed was a bit too hard for our liking but that, of course, is personal choice.

Otherwise cottage was well equipped and warm and we would stay there again. It was ideal for our dog, having the small enclosed garden plus a large field to run about in. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

lovely Bungalow in a nicely placed spot, close to lots of places to visit and with a really good restaurant just 3 mins walk away.

the owners go out of there way to make you welcome and do all they can so that you enjoy your stay. The Bungalows are warm and cosy with all you need for your stay and very dog friendly. My dog and I enjoyed our week so much we did'nt want to leave but we will look forward to returning.

The cottage is ideal, especially if you have a dog as there is somewhere to walk them just outside your door.

Its a great base for exploring the many places to visit.

Very comfortable & homely property with very friendly & helpful homeowners.

Very happy dog as had a enjoyable run round the field every day which saved a dog walk before going out every day. Only had two really sunny days but still enjoyed our stay. Will recommend to friends & family who want to come for a stay down this way. Well worth the visit.

Wonderful location, cottage itself perfect for our stay, nice and clean, comfy bed and sofas, plenty of equipment for cooking.

We were thankful for the milk and buns, but would really have appreciated some tea bags and coffee as we had to nip out immediately to buy these. Garden was great for sitting and enjoying a drink and allowing our dog to run around. Thanks for a great weekend.

a quiet peace-giving space, lovely gardens, to look at when on the patio, with nature rounding you, friendly owners, near town and beach, clean well looked after.

We were welcomed by Andrew and Ruth at New Fox Farm who have been really great for the time we spent there.

Very helpful and kind people. The cottage was great, clean warm and cosy. We also enjoyed making the most of the field outside the house and the sun was shining nearly every day so it was a blessing. Thank you so much for everything and we hope to come back soon! x

A little small in the living area when sofa bed pulled out but we knew that would be the case. Overall an enjoyable break away.

Excellent value, perfect for a quiet, relaxed holiday with a lively terrier.

We where happy with the cottage generally although we like to sit at the table for our breakfast and the small wooden and metal chairs where so uncomfortable it was impossible.

The mattress on the bed was not comfortable. It was very clean and we loved the location the picket fence and the views.Valerie Hill

Teal cottage was a relaxing, comfortable stay on a farm in a little village near to Burnham on Sea.

Ruth and Andrew were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. They have provided everything you need in the cottage , the beds are super comfy, a definite plus. The cottage has a secure , fenced patio, perfect for our dog and overlooks an orchard and a field so very quiet. We definitely recommend a stay at Teal cottage. Nearby there is a great pub,the Watchfield Inn , also Rich's cider does food and cream teas, both of which we recommend. We would definitely think about returning to this beautiful part of Somerset. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, well furnished and equipped.

If you need anything extra the owners, Ruth and Andrew, are very accommodating. Both Ruth and Andrew are a very knowledgeable about the area and will tell you what is where. The cottage is very well situated to get to out and about. We really enjoyed our holiday and would definitely like to return back.

Teal is a perfect location for walks, seaside and countryside and the added benefit to us of being Dog friendly with plenty of field to exercise her ! We found Teal to be very comfortable, spotlessly clean, light bright and airy, we had a very enjoyable week - perfect !

A really lovely little bungalow so quiet and with beautiful views over the field.

A short drive away was Wells which is beautiful & Berrow Beach allows dogs all year round. The owners Andy & Ruth were extremely helpful. The bungalow had absolutely everything required and was in immaculate order throughout. We would highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable Cottage, with thoughtful added touches, made by helpful owners, making it a very pleasant break in lovely surroundings.

The holiday cottage was extremely nice, but the only thing we felt let it down was the very uncomfortable bed and sofa and for these reasons only is why we would not return.

The accommodation was very clean. It was well eqipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. It is situated in a nice peaceful area so if you just need a quiet spot to chill for a few days it's ideal with a lovely private garden.
