  • "A beautiful cottage, just the right size and location for our coastal path walk."

Lovely decor, fabulous shower, really comfy beds, no need to use the log burner as it was warm enough even in March. We couldn’t find any recycling containers outside the property only the black bin. We didn’t know the bin collection day so we missed it.

  • "Lovely cottage."

Enjoyed ourselves. Only problem which was also mentioned in the visitors book - two vents on the side wall (one for the kitchen extractor and the other from the bathroom) make a loud banging noise when a strong wind is blowing. This happened on the first night and kept us awake off and on.

  • "A lovely bungalow."

We had an elderly relative with us, so the cottage/access was excellent for her to get around (mobility issues). A large back garden for the dog to run around (just a pity we chose a poor week for weather). The village is small but only a few miles from St Davids, there's also a busy village pub and cafe on your doorstep.

  • "Excellent location."

Very clean. Comfy beds. Well equipped. We thought more could have been made of the garden. The furniture was solid and comfortable but it was hard to sit and enjoy the view towards the sea because of the height of the bushes and the wall at the back. That apart, we were very pleased with our stay at the property.

The garden was perfect for our dogs and secure. I have stayed in many different cottages and without doubt I will look up Chalfont to stay again before looking anywhere else. Thank you so much.

Also bath needs a non slip mat we slipped several times. Cottage itself was very comfortable and clean with everything you would need.

  • "Chalfonts is a lovely property in an attractive village with a pub, and near the coast path."

The cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard, there is constant hot water, and very good WIFI. There is a large garden and distant sea views. We very much enjoyed staying here.

The accommodation was ideal providing everything we needed and more. Very comfortable with lots of extra personal touches. 2 minute walk to the village pub, The Ship Inn, with lovely friendly staff and a good bar menu. Dog friendly indoors and outside in the spacious beer garden. We highly recommend Chalfonts

  • "The holiday was great !"

The cottage / bungalow was as described and lovely ! Some tiny constructive criticism: if the metal gate was two hinged gates it would be easier to get two cars on the drive and close the gate. Better recycling is needed rather than put most stuff in the general waste ( I used spa’s recycling bins which I later found out was supposed to be for the shop only) and the large bed was very hard ....a memory foam topper would solve it ! Hope that all helps !

line. Would recommend to all. One very minor thing - the 2 vent covers flap during any breeze and would benefit from a fixed type given it is so peaceful during the night.
