  • "Beautiful lodge, very comfortable, very relaxing hot tub was amazing ."

But down sides is there was cob webs in corners and by fire place, no bath mats , a coffee machine would of been nice and a barbecue would of been good too, and i know it didn't say about a welcome pack but would of been nice if they do that, .

Thank you for your feedback, we’re so glad you enjoyed the lodge and hope you’ll visit again soon. The cleaner is upset that she’s missed spots and will check the areas mentioned. We have provided a cafetière as we feel a coffee machine would take up too much room on the worktop. A welcome folder is currently being added to so should be in the lodge very soon but we’re always at hand to help if there are any queries. Thanks again, Nicola & Andrew Property Owner

  • "Lodge was spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable."

We came in the run up to Easter so unfortunately only had one dry day but I’m sure the lodge would be amazing when it’s sunny . We had a few issues on arrival with the boiler for heating & hot water but this was quickly resolved by a phone call to the owner. I only have one gripe - not enough mugs only 4- Meaning washing up everytime you want a drink -& also could do with a smaller omelette pan - as only one huge frying pan. Overall great stay !

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed our lodge and we were able to sort out the issues with the new boiler for you. We were a bit nervous ourselves when we had a call saying it wasn’t working! I agree an omelette pan may be useful and will put one in the lodge when we next stay. We have more than four mugs so I think I’ll move them around to make them easier to find. (In the glass cupboard there are four that match the teapot and above them there are four black coffee mugs in addition to the ones in the corner cupboard.) We hope you will come and stay again when the sun is shining. Property Owner
