Step outside your front door where you will find everything you need, including a convenience store for picking up any essentials and great eateries including the Golden Lion, the Castle Inn and the Royal Oak as well as The Canteen, Blas @ Fronlas and Tides Kitchen & Wine Bar!

After a satisfying meal, why not enjoy a leisurely stroll along the River Nevern, where you will find a wildfowl conservation area, perfect for spotting the local wildlife.

For a day at the beach, take your pick from the beautiful beaches of Newport and Aberfforest, where you can soak up the sun, paddle the shores or indulge in fresh fish and chips with the sand between your toes.

For those who have brought their clubs, be sure to visit Newport’s excellent Golf Club where you can practice your game with stunning sea views.

Just a short drive away is the town of Fishguard, where you will find the fascinating remains of Fishguard Fort, a scenic marine walk along Fishguard Bay, and the interesting Ocean Lab, where you can meet the local marine life and learn more about the lab’s conservation activities.

This is our fourth trip and we love everything about the house and its location.

We have been staying at this property for the last 4 years - never again.

On arrival it was clearly neglected the house is in desperate need of a coat of paint and a deep clean. The fridge door which was broken last year is still broken. The curtain in the kitchen which was broken last year is still broken. We found dog poo on the overgrown garden. I don’t care if we are the first customer of the season or the last the house should be clean and it certainly was not.

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it!

Great location and the house is perfect for a relaxing family holiday! The house is fresh, clean, bright and comfortable. Easy to keep clean and tidy whilst on holiday. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom has a fab shower. Laundry room is very handy for dumping beach towels etc and the hot shower in the garden is great for washing off unwanted sand from the beach. Good choice of garden furniture and lawned area for dogs and children to play.
