  • "We booked Banc y Capel with Ty Rhydd during October for a family holiday."

It’s a warm, comfortable and well equipped house, with good sized rooms and plenty of space for a family. The upstairs sitting room is a nice extra space for relaxation, as a children’s playroom or a separate TV area. Banc y Capel is in a very quiet spot, only 2 or 3 minutes walk from the centre of Newport where there are cafés, shops, galleries and pubs. It’s a 15 minute walk down to the beach at Parrog (with one of the loveliest views I know). A walk up Carningli behind the town is also rewarded with stunning views. The owner was great, responded quickly to any questions and was very ready to help. We had a really good week - thank you.

  • "We have visited Banc y Capel about 8 times."

That shows our recommendation. It,s a lovely house and with your own parking it,s a must in a tiny village. Everybody is very friendly also.

  • "The access road is a bit tight and we had a mild panic with where the satnav directions stopped."

If you use the What3Words location (///loudly.relations.daredevil) that should get you to the gate. The property was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. There's loads of space for a family. We wish we'd had better weather to enjoy the deck (with the river running through the backyard!). It's easy enough to get to the beach, and there're quick shopping and cafe facilities nearby.

Thank you for kind comments and we are glad you enjoyed Banc-y-Capel. Property Owner
