Bedrooms and beds good.

Living area and kitchen a little small for 3 adults. Location is fantastic, short walks and beaches near by. The neighbours weren't very friendly. But overall excellent value for money.

This is my second visit to this property and we found it clean, comfortable and well equipped.

I would have liked some handrails in the shower as I was unable to use it due to a disability. Angle is very peaceful and the bay is near this property

We had a very enjoyable 5 nights at Mirehouse.

The cottage is in a quiet area, situated at the beach end of the village. The bay is very pretty; unfortunately although the weather was sunny and dry, a gale force wind prevailed most of the time and made for unpleasant beach walks. However we sat in the comfort of our car, virtually on the beach, to watch the sun set behind the headland - glorious. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The furniture and decor are rather tired and scruffy, but commensurate with the comparatively low cost of the cottage. Holiday cottages are so expensive these days, presumably because of the new occupancy rules and other government interventions, so we tend to go away for 5 nights rather than 7 now to keep the cost under £400. Mirehouse was only £289 for 5 nights, in mid April. Cleanliness in the kitchen could certainly be improved - the cupboard doors need a good scrubbing and the trays in the oven were covered in grease - take some foil with you as none is provided. The kitchen is quite a noisy place to sit as both the boiler and the fridge are active a lot of the time. It was good to be able to control the heating by means of the thermostat and boiler control. The shower worked fine but as others have noted, there are no grab handles which makes getting in and out of the bath a little tricky if you have mobility problems. The steps up to the property have a firm handrail and were not too steep. WiFi worked well for browsing and streaming, but there was no phone signal. The TV has no Freeview channels, I used YouTube as I do at home, and if you have a subscription for any of the digital streaming channels I think you can log in to those. Some of the road from Pembroke to Angle (there is only one) was narrower and busier than I expected - you will need to drive or reverse into passing places quite often to let cars and tractors pass. There is a lot of farmland in this region and we sometimes encountered 3 tractors in a row! I wouldn't like to use that road at night and presumably in high season it is also much busier. As there are no shops in Angle, a visit to Pembroke is required to do food shopping etc. No milk, tea, bread or other essentials are provided at the cottage so be sure to stock up on the way. Tenby and Saundersfoot are beautiful and there are several castles in the area. There is also an interesting maritime museum in Pembroke Dock which is free to enter and has very informative volunteer staff. Colby Woodland Gardens near Amroth is also a lovely place and you only pay for parking (free for blue badge holders). So overall Mirehouse is a great holiday home, but because of the stress of the road, I would not choose Angle again.

Very comfortable bed. Good communications and clear instructions with owners and Sykes.Good facilities including TV connected to broadband. All clean too, apart from the odd end of season scuff and stain. We'd stay again.

Had a week away at 1 mirehouse place my second trip the bungalow was nice and clean beds were comfortable garden well maintained took my sister she’s 89 years young managed the front steps ok west angle beach was only a short walk away the pub was even shorter and to top it all the weather was good

We were delighted with the bungalow Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds .

I have mobility issues but the steps were no problem to me, however I would have appreciated a couple of handrails to enable me to use the shower. We were prepared for the relative isolation and prepared for it but the nearest shop is several miles away.We are hoping to book another week in the autumn. miles away.

We had a brilliant stay in the cottage.

It was comfortable and well-stocked, lovely garden and very clean. Fantasic location - we loved the beach and coastal footpaths, the views, Wavecrest cafe and the Little shop on wheels is very handy (previous reviews had said no shop so very pleased to find one). Easy to get into Pembroke and Pemboke Dock for larger shops, would definitely recommend a visit to Pembroke castle.

Instructions were clear for arrival and departure and the owner of the property had gone the extra mile by providing local tourist information and a variety of appliances in the kitchen! Would definitely be recommending to others!

This is an excellent cottage close to the sea at the western end of the peaceful village of Angle.

All facilities, including the garden, are excellent. There are 2 large double bedrooms. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and well furnished with everything needed for a good holiday. Access is up a short flight of about 10 steps with a solid handrail, so may present a challenge for those with a mobility difficulty. A great place to stay!

Ideal base for our 5 night weekday break in late September.

Well located, comfortable furnishings, all equipment useful and worked fine. Nice garden and outdoor seating area, covered and raised on wooden decking. Beds very comfy. Owner very helpful and friendly. Would like to return some time but the bungalow is for sale.

Great base for exploring the area. Located not far from the beach and coastal path walks.

Have stayed here many times and found it a great place to stay and a great location but the property is now for sale and so is likely to be sold before 2025.

I never saw anywhere it mentioning it was semi detached.

Saying that it was quiet. We only saw a couple of heads over the fence. The property is in the process of being updated but is perfectly livable. It was exceptionally clean. There was plenty of room for the two of us and comfortable. For active people there are various walks. Five minutes walk is the beach sandy with some shelter if it is windy. A good place to sit and watch the ships going in and out of Pembroke Dock. Better still is the cafe with good food and especially the cakes. Staff are very chatty. Five minutes inland is the pub The Hibernia Inn. Good food , the bar was boisterous on the Saturday we were there. Had reasonable weather and plenty of places to visit.

This is a lovely little bungalow.

Warm and cozy, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Beautiful garden, well maintained. Kitchen is well equipped. Short walk to the beach. Would have been nice if the TV had been working with a dvd player but not really a problem. If you want a quiet get away from it all holiday, this is it. Thoroughly enjoyed our week.

The house was as described and we wanted for nothing on our stay, the only problem we had was getting the tele to work, probably our tele knowledge wasnt good enough so instructions would have helped, Im sure it was our fault.

All in all a great value for money house in a great village with two pubs and a beach well within walking distance. Thanks again.

It said it was in the process of continuing redecoration at the cottage but did not say what programme of events.

I would suggest the bathroom was next on the list as it was very dated despite having nice tiling. The cottage has really excellent facilites and spotlessly clean. It has excellent facilities and lovely couches and garden. The position is perfect as its walking distance to the beach. Would return without hesitation.

Lovely and clean with a warm feeling as soon as you walk. Beds comfortable and all bed linen spotless. We couldn't have wished for more.

Wonderful cottage, beautiful garden with covered seating area so we could eat out come rain or shine!

One king size and one double bed plus fold up bed. No twin beds option. This was fine for us as my littlest doesn’t mind sleeping on the floor but needs pointing out in the description in case people are expecting one twin room.

No DVD player this year.

As the listing says - the nearest shop is in Pembroke town - 10 miles away. We went to Tesco at Pembroke Dock just once during our stay. The shop in Angle at number 9 closed about 5 years ago but many websites still list this as functioning which it is not. In all other aspects the property is very nice and just right for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at No1.

Everything that you could need was there and it was very comfortable. Beautiful location in a quiet and unspoilt village with a some very interesting old buildings and a decent pub. Beautiful coastal path. We will return. Ooh, would like a bucket and a sponge as car parked under a tree with very active bird life!

In your listing you described Angle as having 2 pubs and a shop which is quite out of date.

The bungalow was fine for 2 people but kitchen/diner was not really adequate for 4 or 5. Lighting in the sitting room was not suitable for reading

The bungalow is in a very good location, a 5 minute walk to the beach, and set in a pretty village with several local walks, and a pub and beachside cafe The accommodation is cosy and nicely decorated, but although there are 2 bedrooms, the dining arrangements would be a bit crowded for 4 people.

There is plenty of room to eat in the garden, and space for children to play. It suited us very well, and was a good centre for trips into Pembroke, and to other beaches and places of interest.

House suited us perfectly.

This property is in an excellent location.

It is okay and we had a good holiday but is overpriced and and a bit dated. The "fifth" bed was a poor camp-bed, the second room had a double bed as expected but it would have been better with single beds. The garden is excellent and the outdoor eating space was great. So in all - not a bad property but over priced and in need of updating especially the bathroom

We have stayed here many times because it is right for us and the location is great though with no mobile signal until you drive to the top of the hill.

The internet is fine in the early morning but iffy in the evening. The only snag is parking in front of the house and under a tree where rooks roost so that washing off guano is needed. 2 wheels need to be on the pavement if there is to be room for lorries to get past. The Mirehouse Place avenue is just for 9 garages which are not numbered.It would be good if you could park in front of a garage. I never saw a garage door opened to park a car or use things stored in it.

Everything as expected and good overall, as usual for Sykes.

Only thing missing for me was a shaver point - managed to buy an adapter in Tesco in Pembroke Dock - not only for shaving but also needed to charge toothbrushes. Pots and pans could have been cleaner and were when we left (gave up on the sieve). Sorry to find old frozen food in the freezer on arrival - now in the bin.

Of course it helps if you have good weather which we had,great location for the beach which took 5 minutes to walk to and had great sun sets to watch as well, good local pub ,great coastal walks .

We were unable to get any hot water, the radiators did not work either.

Had to boil kettle to wash up. Bedroom felt damp at times. Could have done with some leaflets etc, about the surrounding area.

We've been to the bungalow many times before, and always enjoy the stay.

This is the first time we have stayed at Angle in the summer, we had great weather, and enjoyed the walks along the coastal footpath. Would highly recommend a stop for food at the wavecrest cafe at West angle beach, and a pint in the hibernian pub.

Great location, nice to be on walking distance from the beach, nice to have lots of outdoor space.

Just a pity the phone reception was so poor in the cottage.

Perfectly situated holiday cottage five minutes walk to Angle Beach.

Very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our week away. The garden offers a lovely outdoor space too. Note for families: there are two double beds so we used the camp bed for our youngest as our two children sleeping in the same bed wouldn’t have worked!

The bungalow is clean and comfortable with a lovely enclosed garden allowing the children to play safely and for the family to eat outdoors.

Good Wi Fi - bring your Fire Stick to access your favourite TV channels. As the village shop is now closed the nearest Supermarket is in Pembroke but the proprietor had kindly left some food in the Freezer which was welcome as we arrived late on. Angle is a lovely quiet village with an excellent beach only a five minute stroll away, with a great Cafe. The local pub is only a stroll away too and everyone was warm and friendly, despite all the Covid restrictions in place. There is plenty to do in the locality from Tenby, a traditional Seaside Town, to boat rides, Wildlife and Theme Parks, Crazy Golf, lovely coastal walks and more. If you visit this part of the world and you have a sense of adventure, you must go Coasteering in Tenby! It's challenging alright, but to swim through the beautiful sea caves, taste edible seaweed, climb and jump from high rocks and learn about the coast from an expert guide was amazing. Enjoy!

Had another really good week.

Although we couldn't book the weather, the cottage is a really cosy and comfortable place to sit and read on a a very wet afternoon.

Property well equipped and very clean.

I would use again.

The property is lovely and going through a refurb.

The parts that are completed are light and airy. The advertisement claims a shop in the village, this is however closed and would seem to have been for some time. The closest shops are in Pembroke some 20mins away by car. A recommendation to bring essentials(bread milk teabags butter) would be helpful. We had a wonderful week here and would definitely recommend it. Mobile phone signal is lost as you enter the village. The free wifi helps.

This was a return visit to Mirehouse Place as we liked it first time around!

. The owners have undertaken some further updating, comfortable beds, lovely sheltered seating area in the back garden. Can't fault it and would recommend this for anyone's stay in Angle.

I've ticked exceeded expectations but really knew what to expect having stayed there many times over the years (about ten I think).

The location is excellent for cliff paths and beautiful beaches. Sadly the free parking at the beach is to end this year. The holiday cottage is close to the beach and hopefully next year won't see cars parking in the spot in front of the cottage which is for people staying there.

We had a lovely week in a cosy well-equipped cottage.

Everything was in good working order, no snags. Being able to do several longish walks from the door was brilliant as was the short walk to the beach which is so much safer now that the footpath is there.

Just a couple of minor things.

The water to the bath was tepid. No on site recyling facilities so we had to try and use local bins and even brought some home!

Do not wait until you arrive to phone for the keysafe number - there is NO mobile phone signal there.

Driving round to try to find a signal after a long drive is not what you want! Also important to bring some provisions as there is no shop locally. The Co-op in Pembroke is the nearest and that's about 8 miles away, so bring milk, bread etc.

Excellent flat and great location.

Angle is such an idyllic location and we were so close to the bay which was bigger and more beautiful than it looked in pictures.
