"Lovely house set in beautiful surroundings."
Everything you need in the accommodation, which is tastefully decorated. The owners are very friendly, and on hand to assist with anything you may need. We have just returned from our second visit, already planning our third! Would definitely recommend a visit.

"A warm cosy and extremely peaceful cottage in a & beautiful quiet valley."
Everything we needed for our stay and our hosts were very friendly & helpful. Facilities close by in Newcastle Emlyn & a comfortable base to explore the area. No internet in the cottage was expected but the very intermittent (3) mobile signal too made planning & research more challenging.

"Great place, very quiet."
Easy to reach coast and local sites. River walk a bit tricky in places and you need good foot ware. single track road with grass down the middle. The only other property you can see from the cottage is the owners house on the side of the hill. Very helpful owners, welcomed in then left alone, but available if needed. Loved the place and would book again.

The views from the sunny patio were wonderful; we loved watching the buzzards and kites soaring around . We walked around by the river and through fields and made friends with the gorgeous resident pony. The hosts were always on hand and were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this lovely place, and very much hope to return.

"Exceptionally delightful hosts, the cottage proved to be more spacious than we had anticipated from photos."
In terms of equipment we have marked below the highest rating, not because we feel we lost out in any way, but many cottages have items such as wifi, a washing machine, cubicle shower, copious kitchen items for example. For our purposes these were not essential and overall, we think this was one of the best holiday cottage experiences we have ever had and would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.

"Excellent location."
Very friendly owners. We purposely chose this location for the lack of wi-fi to get some peace and quiet (There is a signal a bit up the road). Lots of nice walks and enough facilities in the town to keep you supplied - there's a lot of tea shops. You're within easy drive of a lot of great places to visit. Our daughter got to see dolphins in Cardigan Bay which made the holiday worthwhile for her. The booking process was easy. A very stress free, peaceful holiday.

The cottage is well suited for a family of 3. Waking up every morning in the middle of the mountains was breath taking. Taking walks in the woods was a wonderful experience to me. The landlords very helpful and kind. They have brochures for areas around and places of interest "ie" beach, shops and many more.

"This was our second time to Cwmdu Cottage and, despite the weather (it rained a lot!"
!), it was still a lovely stay. The cottage is so peaceful and relaxing you really do not want to go home at the end of your stay. It was a real pleasure to go back to the cottage at the end of the day and just sit outside with a glass of wine and listen to the bubbling of the local river/ waterfall. The local beaches are beautiful and the countryside incredibly inspirational for walking. The hosts, Angela and Tony, are very accommodating and friendly. Thank you again for a lovely stay and I am sure we will back again next year.

"A brilliant cottage."
The location is excellent and the views down the valley are 10 out of 10. Almost every day we saw buzzards flying overhead. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Also, a really good central location ideal for visiting the West and South coasts of Wales. I would highly recommend this cottage for a 'get away from it all' break. Having said that, local amenities are also not too far away if required. Overall, a gem of a place to stay. We will definitely be coming back next year.
