    Barn conversion was fabulous. We went for Moms 70th she thoroughly enjoyed it. Joe my disabled nephew was able to move around the cottage in his wheelchair without no stress and all facilities were amazing for his needs all in all what a brilliant holiday loved it.

Situated on the owners’ working farm, these superb stone barn conversions have been lovingly transformed from their original use into the highest quality holiday cottages, in the hamlet of Brongest. Oozing both charm and character throughout, these cottages boast solid oak flooring, light, airy and spacious rooms, and patio areas to enjoy the surrounding peaceful countryside. Positioned next to each other, these cottages offer accommodation for thirteen, perfect for those memorable holidays together. The owners are on hand to show you their prize-winning pigs and dairy cows and calves by prior arrangement, which is an absolute delight for many youngsters. With such beautiful countryside, the walks and cycle rides from the doorstep are a dream. Venture a little further to the bustling towns of Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan, or the rugged coastline with its little coves, sandy beaches and coastal path. Take boat trips to spot the playful dolphins, enjoy the nearby outward-bound centre, book a horse riding lesson, try some fishing or visit the array of historic buildings, craft centres and theme parks. With so much to offer and the perfect cottage to stay in, you will be delighted with your choice and looking forward to a return visit long before your holiday ends.

The property

A superb semi-detached cottage near Newcastle Emlyn, beautifully converted from a stone barn, set on a working livestock farm in peaceful and picturesque countryside.

This quality cottage boasts an open plan living area with a very well equipped kitchen, a spacious sitting area and dining area.

There are two ground floor bedrooms, one with an en-suite, plus a ground floor wet room.

Two further attractive bedrooms both offer en-suite shower rooms.

All bedrooms have a TV and there is WiFi throughout.

This cottage is perfect for the less mobile, with wheelchair access throughout the ground floor.

The bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn is set on the River Teifi and offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, such as designer clothes, crafts and jewellery, antiques, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle, plus fishing permits are available nearby. Surrounding Newcastle Emlyn is beautiful countryside, whilst the rugged Cardiganshire coastline is just six miles away, where you have the opportunity to visit Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful sandy beaches, or take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals at New Quay. Within driving distance is the town of Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Cenarth Falls, paintballing, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park and train rides at Henllan, along with an array of castles, mills and craft centres. Newcastle Emlyn is an excellent base for exploring this part of Wales.
