  • "Good location only 10 mins to beach by car."

Cottage was very clean and comfortable.

  • "Lovely property in a fantastic location."

Owner was on hand if anything was needed and the welcome basket including bread and milk was a nice touch. House was immaculately clean and tidy when we arrived, and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Would have preferred a washing machine instead of a dishwasher but that’s just personal preference. 5/5 would definitely return!

It was absolutely perfect. The cottage was so so clean and very well equipped. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Couldn't have asked for more. The garden was lovely to sit in and watch the animals in the adjoing Folly Farm. The owners were very welcoming and helpful regarding the surrounding area. They also left a welcome pack of tea, coffee, bread, eggs, and a few other bits including Welsh cakes. We would definitely recommend this property. We may well be returning with some of our family and booking Pottery Barn as well. Thank so much Shirley and David for a fabulous week. Samantha and Steve Webb. Also Bella and Kobi

The cottage was really clean and by far the most well equipped holiday cottage we’ve stayed in. We stayed over the Easter holidays and have to say that the welcome basket of goodies and Easter Eggs was a really nice touch. Great little safe garden for the dogs to be let out freely. Lovely hosts too.

  • "We have had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property."

On arrival we were met by the very friendly and helpful owner. On entering we had a welcome basket (which included Easter eggs which was a lovely and very welcome surprise!). The property was very clean and we instantly felt very relaxed. The property is stocked with everything you need, there is plenty of room for a family of four. The cottage is really well located to visit local beaches and towns within 5-10 mins and then maybe 40 mins from the west coast. There is a convenience store 2 mins walk away and a village with more shops / takeaways / restaurants within a couple of minutes drive. The view from the property is excellent as it backs onto fields that have alpacas, horses and sheep. We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

The owner provided us with a smashing welcome hamper and we and our little dogs felt at home the moment we arrived. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather. There is a good village shop across the road and the pub at the roundabout served good wholesome food. We visited Stackpole, Broad Haven, Barafuncal Bay, Ambroth, Corby Gardens, Tenby all within short drives away. Perfect. Thank you.

  • "This is an outstanding barn conversion."

Set in a beautiful location, the inside is immaculate and full of all the modern amenities that you could wish for. It has a lovely garden that backs onto fields where alpaca sheep greet you in the morning. The hosts could not be more helpful and even go that extra mile to help you settle in and make you feel welcome, including a little welcome pack with milk, bread and teabags etc. inside the cottage; it is very homely well laid out and full of all the amenities you could ever wish for. It is in a lovely location with a Chinese and Indian close by that do delivery and a local pub which is dog friendly. I thoroughly recommend this property and will undoubtedly be returning in the near future.

  • "This is an exceptional property, highly recommended."

All the facilities and appliances work properly and it is very useful to have all the appliance user guides to hand. It's a comfortable and relaxing place to be. There is a wide view across countryside from the living room and garden, with animals grazing just over the fence (rare-breed sheep while we were there). The cottage is by a main road, but shielding from the buildings between cottage and road means there is no traffic noise. We received a very friendly welcome from the owners. The welcome pack is generous; e.g. two packs of coffee.

The outside photographs really do not do this fabulous cottage justice. We arrived in the pouring rain and were immediately greeted (social distanced) by the owner. We had a lovely basket of goodies which was greatly welcomed. The accommodation was absolutely spotless, the linen and towels smelt gorgeous. The views from the lounge windows were stunning and watching the alpacas and unusual sheep. It was so relaxing and comfortable, really didn't want to leave. The automatic night lights for the staircase was a very thoughtful added touch. Everything was thought of and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Lots of birds to watch outside the kitchen window. We took our cocker spaniel who loved it and the garden was perfect for her.

  • "Pottery cottage was a really great place to stay for our Pembrokeshire break."

Dave and Shirley have worked hard to create a very comfortable holiday cottage. Inside the cottage the layout works really well. The kitchen has everything in it that you could possibly need, ir think you need. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and much appreciated upon arrival. The lounge are is well laid out, the furniture comfortable and attractive and there is plenty of space. Access to Netflix was included for snuggling up and watching a film after a long day's exploring. Separate dining area was used to enjoy our food but also each other's company without the distraction of the tv. Beautiful bathroom.. spacious. Great shower and my husband enjoyed a long soak in the bath. Plenty of hot water! As there was just the two of us we used the double bed on the mezzanine. The bed was very comfortable... there was no 'getting used' to it; as soon as your head hit the pillow it was off to sleep... that may have had something to do with the fresh air! Lighting... not something I have commented on in a cottage review before... whether it is the Alexa controlled under cupboard lighting in the kitchen or the movement sensitive lights on the stairs (much appreciated for any middle of the night toilet visits) or the mood controlled lamps in the living area... everything has been thought of and serves a function that you may not have known you needed or wanted. Outside the cottage is both a seating area and a dining area in an enclosed space just for the cottage. Again, a well thought out area. The night time lighting enhanced the space further. There is ample parking outside the cottage and in the grounds. There is such a lot to see and do in Pembrokeshire, we will definitely make a return visit... Pottery Cottage was an excellent base for this trip and we will be staying again.

  • "The property is beautifully furnished with plenty of personal touches that make it feel like a home from home."

There are dozens of little extras that really made our holiday such as the refreshment tray and everything you could need for picnics. There’s loads of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans which is good when you can use it all and then pop the dishwasher on. The large fridge/freezer and ample cupboard space was filled by our supermarket delivery but we were able to top up at the local, well stocked Co-op. The beds are super comfy & the shower is great after a day out at the beach. Opening the french doors on to the enclosed garden was lovely in the evenings where we sat and watched the Folly Farm animals in the surrounding fields. Despite the global pandemic Pottery Cottage felt like a little bit of calm and normality for a week. It’s in a rural location but less than 10 mins by car to the nearest beach. David & Shirley are the perfect hosts and nothing is ever too much trouble.
