  • "Too many other holiday cottages on the farm that hadn’t been made known to us in the Sykes information."

Regarding our cottage, it was rather shabby, big crack in front door, patio door glass seal failed and you couldn’t see out of it due to internal misting. The toilet flushing was problematic clearly not functioning fully. The garden patio had a fair amount of hen excrement on it which should have been cleaned. The entire outside area had a feeling and appearance of neglect. The long lane up to the farm is a single track unmade road full of pot holes and had few passing places. There was about 10 cars on the farm ‘holiday site’ most days. We left after 3 nights of our planned 7 night stay.

We’re sorry to hear you felt this way. We strive to be transparent in our listing and provide accurate descriptions. We encourage guests to contact us during their stay so we can resolve any issues immediately. Property Owner

Eirlys was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. The cottage was spotlessly clean and wonderfully cosy. The enclosed garden was a real bonus, as it allowed my child to run around freely and safely. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Thank you for your lovely review, We’re thrilled the cottage worked so well for your family and that the enclosed garden was a bonus. It was a pleasure having you stay, and you are very welcome back anytime. Property Owner

  • "A lovely, comfortable, clean, accessible little cottage in a peaceful, remote part of Wales."

An ideal retreat for anyone looking for seclusion away from busy roads. I would advise first arriving in daylight hours, as it is accessed down a mile of unadopted road, which could be a bit disconcerting in the dark if you don't know it. A car is essential, as there are very few facilities within walking distance, although the immediate area has good walks for those who are steady on their feet.. Eirlys is very welcoming and helpful, while respecting guests' privacy.

Thank you very much for your review and we can confirm that all outside lights are in working order and is on a timer and light up in the dark. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was lovely, the drive off the main road to it wasn't, must have been nearly a mile on a narrow rough and potholed lane, was a bit of a chore every time we went out anywhere, apart from that we enjoyed our stay but won't be going back, sorry."

Thank you very much for your review but it is a farm track, and unfortunately the pot holes had got increasingly worse prior to your stay due to the period of wet weather and we require a spell of dry weather to properly repair the pot holes. Property Owner
