• "We had a lovely stay."

  Ty barddu was very cute really clean and comfortable. The fresh flowers and welcome were a very nice touch. It was a great base from which to explore the area. Very quite and private just what we needed.

• "Such a perfect location."

  The property was very clean and tidy with lots of lovely finishing touches like fresh flowers. Also, beautifully decorated and well equipped (although we could have done with a colander). I can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you to our lovely hosts. X

• "Bijou but very well thought out, good use of the space."

  High quality of fittings. Bed & sofa really comfy and kitchen has full size appliances and enough room to cook a real meal with plenty of equipment on hand. We very much enjoyed the walks from the door following the detailed instructions provided. The cabin is set in a lovely quiet spot, the covered outdoor seating area is great for a sunny afternoon or evening. Even when it rained there was still a dry enough area to sit. Re previous comment on parking, there is a knack but ample room. A great place to stay for peace and quiet.

• "Sweet little place, though a little hard to squeeze our estate car into the parking bay."

  The image of the place didn’t show the walls around the parking area. Place was clean and bed comfortable. Had all we needed for the stay.

We’re sorry to hear that you struggled with the parking though. There are two parking bays available exclusively for guests, and although there is a low wall separating part of the parking area from the road, we have found that most vehicles (including vans) are able to park there comfortably. We acknowledge however, that the wall itself is not visible in the photos of the property and will look to address this with Sykes (who took the photos). Thank you again for your feedback. • "Ty Barddu is a wonderful peaceful retreat."

  Natasha and Rob made us feel so welcome. It’s a great place to come with a dog who is made to feel part of the family. The river is just outside and the village is quiet in a hidden valley. Ty Barddu has all the home comforts and you couldn’t ask for more! The bed is very comfortable and everything is easy to use. I didn’t want to leave and I hope to return soon. Thanks for a lovely stay.

• "Really clean and comfortable place to stay."
