  • "Bank House Farm is surprisingly big inside, we were 3 adults so plenty of room."

The beds were comfortable but we found the lounge furniture uncomfortable, especially in the "tv room". We had a couple of issues that needed attention and they were dealt with very promptly by the owners. There could be a few more glasses, plates and dishes so that the dishwasher wouldn't need running everyday, definitely more than 5 teaspoons and lids that fit the saucepans! Although there is a big hall and good size utility room there wasn't an ideal place to hang wet jackets. The biggest downside was the old farm buildings very close to the house and blocking the lovely views out to sea, although they would protect the house from an on shore wind. There is a picnic bench but there doesn't seem to be an ideal position for it. Unfortunately we didn't have the weather to use it. It is in a windy spot and that together with the old farm buildings would prevent us from going back.

  • "We very much enjoyed our week at Bank Farm."

There were 5 of us and most notably, the house was large and spacious, warm and cosy. It was also in the perfect location for exploring St David’s peninsula.

  • "Lovely holiday home in an awesome location."

Everything was provided to make us feel welcome and ensure a comfortable stay. Owners are friendly and helpful. We were a mixed age group (one 62 yr old and the rest teens and twenties) I loved the second sitting room which allowed me space to relax away from the boisterousness of the younger members of our trip and the TV! The outside space was also well appreciated as was the large kitchen table which allowed us time together to play games (provided by the owner) and eat meals. I hope to be able to book again sometime soon!

  • "Bank House Farm is beautiful, a short walk from the beach & the surrounding area was stunning."

Unfortunately, we had 3 storms during our stay, which meant the power was disrupted almost every day, however, this actually added something special to our holiday, as we had the opportunity to enjoy each other’s undivided attention! The house was comfy, cosy, reassuringly traditional & had plenty of room for all 3 generations of our family - it has been one of the best holidays we have had, both for the house itself & the surrounding area The owners were lovely & made us feel very welcome - Pembrokeshire is one of the most amazing places in the world, the breathtaking scenery, lovely towns & villages & the friendly locals made it a pleasure and we will definitely be back as there is so much more of the coastline we’d like to explore

  • "Weather failed us somewhat but that is Britain for you!"

Holiday in early June, you do take your chances. Had some lovely walks around the coastline seeing areas I had not explored before. We parked by Whitesands Beach St Davids for the last walk which was lovely. We did have a hiccup with the bath-the washer on the tap broke. However, Sykes and the owners sorted it out. It is an old property with a lot of charm and life is never perfect. I've stayed here before and that speaks volumes really because we came back! It felt like returning home. The dishwasher is a definite bonus and it is a great property with lots of parking space. We needed this as we were 3 parties so had to accommodate 3 cars. The view from my bedroom window was beautiful-a field of sheep-so peaceful.

A letter is on way to Gead Office. This cottage was nice, but we had issues with the heating and two days couldn't get it to work, \A washing nachine and line was supplied but sepete pegs would have been helpful. Re-cycling info very confusing, Happy to re-cycle but we need to understand what goes where!

Lovely farm house which gave us peace of mind and country side Experience. I still think that they should have smart tv and wifi. When we are with kids, wifi becomes a necessity.

  • "The location is fantastic if you are after a peaceful and secluded base in the fantastic Pembrokeshire landscape with easy access to Aberreidy, Porthgain and St David's."

The farmhouse itself is spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating 5 adults and 2 children. It is almost a 1960s/70s time-capsule, having that feel of times gone by. It has a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and utility room with washing machine and a large fridge freezer. There is no WiFi, but there is 4G coverage so you can create your own hot-spot if needed.

  • "A lovely solid farmhouse in a great location with splendid views from house and garden."

Very easy and relaxed basic place with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Two lounge areas come in handy for comfortable living. The two double bedrooms are a great size with beautiful views. The kids room is also nicely done and makes a great 'den'. Covers all the basics and is simple to live in. We had a fabulous week thank you, felt right at home, only we forgot to take our own towels! Easily recommend.

  • "We found our stay at Bank House Farm to be cosy and comfortable."

This is an old family home, a little run down, but full of character and plenty of space for the larger group. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for self catering purposes. The location is very peaceful, with lovely views all around. We were in a great location to visit all the highlights of the area and enjoyed beautiful coastal walks at Strumble head, Solva and Abereiddy. The children loved all the wildlife spotting, we saw lots of seals and they loved running on the beach at newgale and Whitesands.

  • "We had a fantastic holiday."

The farm house is just as described ( it was our 4th or 5th visit to the house) Everything is as expected. The beds are made up ready and a welcome pack is left for visitors. It is a great peaceful location . There are plenty of leaflets showing local attractions should you wish to do more than relax. The comments in the visitors book are all positive and reflect what we feel. It is a beautiful place in a great location.

  • "The cottage had everything we needed."

My only problem was that we have three small children and there was no where to walk with them without going on roads with no pavements. There was a small Spar shop in the garage about a mile away but if you needed more groceries St Davids of Haverfordwest were the nearest and virtually you had to go everywhere by car. The area was beautiful and it would have been fine if our children had not been so young.
