  • "Stayed here for a weekend at the end of November."

It was the weekend of Storm Arwen so we tested the heating system to it's limits - the wood burner was well used and gave us enough warmth! Easy check-in on arrival and the directions received worked perfectly. The premises are very well-designed making the most of all space available. Weather meant that using the patio and the outside barbecue wasn't an option but it looked nice (although the weather didn't stop us using the hot tub). Inside, a very well-equipped kitchen and the thoughtfulness of leaving a couple of welcome gifts was much appreciated as well. The hosts were great, living nearby but we only saw them when we asked for them on a small problem which was quickly fixed. The main bedroom was the most comfortable bed I have slept in away from home, possibly ever and both bathrooms were very clean and well-furnished. Close to the main centre of the town and the beach was only about 10 minutes walk away, a very pleasant weekend.

  • "A lovely, well equipped and comfortable house with a hot tub and a very secure garden for dogs."

Owners Matt and Dawn who live next door are very unobtrusive but just a message away for any problems or queries. Burry Port is a small harbour town with a huge beach and a few very good, dog friendly pubs, cafe's and restaurants, all a short walk from the house.

  • "This cottage exceeded our expectation as an excellent place to stay in Burry Port."

Easy walking distance to the beach and town. A beautiful and very well equipped cottage with brilliant close by owners who are always at hand to help if needed. A very safe place to stay for young children and dogs. The hot tub was checked daily and was a lovely addition. We loved this cottage so much we've already booked to return same time next year. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

It is comfortable, warm, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. It is a ten minute walk to the marina and the pristine tidal beaches with views across the water to the Gower. Burry Port itself has all the amenities required for a lovely peaceful break. Excellent coffee shop, fish and chips and takeaway restaurants. There is bicycle hire available, a repair shop in the high street and miles of safe cycle paths. The owners live nearby and are most helpful and charming. The hot tub was the icing on the cake!!

Great coastal location as it’s close to shops, lots of places to eat, easy access to cycle track network, Burry Port Harbour is nearby and most importantly the beach a 5 minute walk away. It was very comfortable and easily accommodated our party size of 4 adults and one child. Matt & Dawn made us feel welcome from before our arrival and once we got there were accessible without being over powering. Even allowing our daughter to feed their chickens and stick insects. Every attention to detail was addressed with hairdryer, torches in each bedside cabinet, extra toilet rolls and towels. The kitchen was also stocked with the very important tea and coffee for the lovely coffee machine, along with a supply of dishwasher tablets and cleaning products A very welcome surprise of chilled prosecco, welsh cakes and card with details of mobile numbers for them both. The cottage provides everything a family should need on a staycation, new kitchen with fully integrated dishwasher and washer/dryer. Multiple activities whilst at home including BBQ, lawned area, hot tub and games room. It's within easy walking distance of the town, and beach.
